Amazing!!!! 365 days a year 24 hours a day non-stop restaurant. I am still surprised about it.😲 We have super good meals at midnight 3 o'clock. Crazy. You can order in German. The people there are super friendly.

If you're looking for good "home cooked" local food, then this is the place. Tripe soup is not for everybody, but it was good. The meat balls in tomato sauce with rice was good. The moussaka was great. The lamb liver and rice ball (can't remember name) was awesome. You know this place is the real deal when old locals come around to have their meal. I would definitely eat here again if ever I'm back in Thessaloniki. Thank you Tsarouchas!

I can't say anything about food because we did not get any. It was a strangest experience I've ever had at any restaurant. Usually when people go for eating out they will get greetings from the restaurant employees. But maybe in Greece rules are different. I with my wife went to this place. No any employee said anything. No "Hi", no "May I help you?", nothing. Finally I've asked how we can order food. One of the employees told us that we have to get outside and order food from the buffet. Then an older employee told us to get seated. So we waited about 15 minutes for menu but did not get it. While waiting I saw how the cook was making a salad without wearing gloves. So we did not wait longer and left.

That's a historic landmark place of Thessaloniki, standing as live and kicking more than 70 years, giving to every night owl the chance of very good food and rapid service, anytime in the whole night!... ....a must see/visit place, even if you're not one!....-:)

I think it is much different from what I have felt in eleven years. I visit the store several times a year. But today I was disappointed. It should reduce my willingness to visit again in the future.

This is a place I come to each time I am in Thessaloniki for an authentic Greek cuisine. I personally like many of their soups. Surprisingly this place operates 24h on weekends, at least, so easy to get what you're looking for

I'm happy to give this place five stars for being exactly what it is for 70 years. You know sometimes it's midnight & even though Thessaloniki is a town that stays up late it's just a bit hard to find a good nutritious meal late at night. This place serves soups & meat dishes 24 hours. It's good. It's always there. They are helpful. Though it's not cheap - definitely reasonable for the quality & convenience.

We stopped here to grab some food for the road, so we went here early in the morning, around 9:30am, so not much was available. Just soups and meatballs. The meatballs were very delicious, although, it was pretty pricey. €7.50 for 3 meatballs + €.50 for the bun. I think the meatballs are normally paired with rice which seemed to not be available at the time, but I don't think the price was adjusted to reflect that... The man at the counter was very friendly and spoke English well!

Tasty and fairly priced. The famous tripe soup is great if you're not a novice to offal. The tzigerosarma was delicious and well-seasoned as well. With a small wine, total was €16. Open 24/7.

Some of us like soup but Greek cuisine is poor on this dish. So I found reviews about this place on G Maps and decided to try their soups, especially the famous tripe soup based on an old recipe. Every now and then I like to eat tripe soup so I am familiar with this dish (for the novices, please note it is not such a common taste; is not everybody's favourite). I tried their recipe and can confirm they've got "the art of tripe soup" to the max (they are doing it for dozens of years). But you've got to know your taste so they can spice it and add tripe meat just as you like it. A little too much spice and is sour, a little too less and is dull, a little too much tripe and is a meal, not a soup. Just enough of what it needs and is a soup to remember. I highly recommend it for the tripe soup (for connoisseurs ) but also for all soup lovers. My wife also enjoyed her vegetable soup. Serving is great, prices are reasonable, location is rather quiet. The place is something between canteen and restaurant (or so it seems) - this is why I give it 4 stars. Do not expect high class, just good soups

Very helpful and kind waitstaff. I read that the best patsas was served here so I tried it. Very interesting to say the least. We have nothing like that in the US. I wish I had time come back to try other menu items as everything looked delicious and the waiter was so kind.

Here you can eat various delicious soups, but also other delicious food such as moussaka.

The well known "patsas" in northern Greece and especially in Thessaloniki is a "must" if you are an admirer of local gastro and food. Tsarouchas Patsas & Restaurant is the place to be.

Let me detail why I gave it a star: -the food was brought in turn, we had to wait 15 minutes until it arrived at all (4 people) -at the time it arrived, the gasket was already cold (this in the conditions in which it was brought) -many products were missing from their dishes on the way they had them on the menu -When I ordered tzatziki, they brought us normal bread, I asked them to put it on the grill and they said they can't, I asked them to bring us pita, they said they didn't. - at the side dish I asked for french fries, and they said they didn't have it, only rice and puree. -many minuses, we even had to sit and wait for the note to come with about 20 minutes ... I do NOT recommend them.

the food is made during the day and served cold or reheated. I don't understand why it has such great reviews. the prices are the same as at a restaurant that makes your food on the spot. the staff was kind but they don't know English. they charge you a service fee, although I don't understand why considering that the food is ready

Open 24hrs a day so don't expect freshly cooked food or anything else that is good about eating in a restaurant. More like a fast food transport cafe than fine dining experience.

Food is salty but have a wide variety. Popular with beef tripe soup. Friendly service.

Dined at this establishment in early November during evening with wife. She ordered a giovetsi and I ordered a patsa. Both dishes arrived cold to lukewarm. Asked for and provided with account at the conclusion. Waitress attended other patrons in the meantime and the cash wit a tip was left in the small metal cylinder provided. About 250 metres down the road a young male waiter chased both my wife and self accusing us of not paying the bill in its entirety. We were both embarrassed and pointed out we paid what was on the account plus. This restaurant in recent years has gone from acceptable to hopeless in many ways. All meals should be served piping hot, one never ever embarrasses customers. Other takeaway meals seemed to be last weeks leftovers. Stay away

It’s famous for soups, but I wouldn’t say they are specially good. The flavour just wasn’t there, it was pretty wattery and you could only taste the vinagre. The rest of the food is just common, cafeteria level Greek cuisine that you can find anywhere else. The service wasn’t that great either. Woman with a blonde bob is not amicable at all. The price is pretty much standard, even a bit over the normal.

Good restaurant for lunch. Big portions, food was like eating at home. Prices were probably a bit too high for what it offers but the prices in Thessaloniki are pretty similar everywhere...

Soups were good, the history of the place is also good, soups were normal and warm, when its supposed to be hot and refreshing. Also, when in the whole thessaloniki restaurants bring free water bottle, napkins and bread, this place charged us for napkins and bread. Also brought water by glasses and to sum up, it was not worth for the price 17€ for 2 soups on a hangover day.

Great welcome from the proprietor. This is a buffet style menu where the food has been prepared earlier and is kept ready for guests. Had a fine knuckle of pork with potatoes and a Greek salad. The red wine bearing the business name is tasty.the walnut pie was to die for.

We ate here on the last night of our stay in Thessaloniki. The food was superb. I could not get enough. If we had visited earlier we would have returned regularly. Anyway I look forward to more visits when we return to Thessaloniki. I remember this restaurant from the time I lived here in the 1980s. It used to be open 24 hours a day, I seem to recall. I don't know its present opening times but we visited in the early evening. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Great people, great food.

I loved the Tuzlama(Patsas in Greek ) or Tripe Soup . , İ am very surprised with the quality and cleanliness of the food and the venue.. 24 hours open restaurant like Işkembe Restaurants in İstanbul. It is a great remedy for hang over in Turkish culture after an intoxicated night out.. Obviously Anatolian Greeks have kept this tradition alive in the third largest city of the long gone Ottoman Empire.. Well done guys, I will come back again, thank you for letting me taste delicacy of Anatolia in Greece .... Highly recommended....

Good chicken soup with lots of chicken meat and pasticcio. The portions were larger than expected.

Roast Chicken with spaghetti and Beef Soup taste homey and delicious. Tripe soup is a little bland but after putting lemon and dry chili that comes with it becomes better. Waiter is attentive and efficient. I would not hesitate to give this restaurant two thumbs up, 5 stars. Worth visiting. On the second note, we were back for the second time 2 days in the row, the roast chicken spaghetti still taste the best! Highly recommended

I don't write many reviews, but I just needed to get it out there and say that this place had some of the best food I've had in Europe!!! It definitely tastes like it was made right in someone's home and perfected over decades!!! The food is simple, but absolutely DELICIOUS! Your taste buds will thank you!
