We decided to dine into this restaurant on a Friday evening and we have booked a table for 9 people. The place was nice but the staff wasn't really polite. Also, we ordered a variety of plates and we waited more than an hour to eat them. Some plates were tasty but expensive and the delay was extreme. Our hotel reception helped us make a booking. This place are super popular during the weekend so booking is recommended.

That said, there is a specific reason I am ‘only’ giving three stars: I was looking everywhere in Thessaloniki to find the dish ‘stifado’, but almost no restaurant serves it. When I saw that Charoupi has it on their menu, I was very happy. Unfortunately, their stifado totally wasn’t what I expected, as it resembled more of a pasta dish than an onion- and meat stew.
