Possibly one of the best restaurants I've been to around Europe. This is couple of traditional Greek traditional dishes at its best, especially if you're avoiding meat. The food was a reasonable portion as even some of the starters priced at less than €5 can fill one person. The flavour and taste was absolutely amazing, especially when eaten hot. 3 dishes with a drink for about €21. Highly recommended. But arrive before the 1.30pm mark as it does get really busy and noisy. Customer Service was amazing with taking their time to guide us through the traditional dishes and explaining the options, as well as adapting to our dietary requirements. Thank you.

Stopped in for a bite to eat before we started with our evening. They are pet friendly and bought our a dish of cold water got our dog to stay hydrated. We placed our order with the waiter. He was limited in English and got away with a few recommendations however no issues in Greek. The dishes were fantastic and everything tasted so fresh. The selection was great on the menu so there is something for everyone. Great spot and busy, so be prepared when you arrive. Would recommend this restaurant to have a site visit and enjoy the environment.

Just walked from my air.bnb to Ladadika and passed this restaurant. The food was awesome! The wine menu is only in Greek which made me order a sparkling Rose Wine instead of a regular wine for dinner. But that's my own fault because of not being able to speak or read Greek. It was a perfect first dinner. The taste of the food - fantastic!

Highly recommended restaurant in the center of Thessaloniki city. Food is good but not excellent. Needs improvement. Very good wine list. Staff is multilingual and very helpful with the order. Design in minimal with great atmosphere. Location is very good with many parking lots in the near area.

All dishes full of flavor. Excellent environment, beautifully decorated, gave a sense of class while providing alternarive greek cuisine with touches of the east, blazing fast service. Unfortunately, the stuff was just nice, being extremely professional on one hand(no comment on this) but without a single smile, something expected in Thessaloniki 5 stars places.

First time we visited the place we had a really nice experience. We visited the place 2 more times when we went to Thessaloniki again because we really liked it the first time but unfortunately there was something different with the food even tho we ordered some same dishes they did not taste the same as the first time. It is important to have consistency in such places.

Best restaurant in Thessaloniki hands down! Lahmacun is a must, amazing dish! Moreover the place has an excellent balance between quality and price! We took Popeye salad, pastourma small pita, soutzoukakia and rice with chicken, and two refreshments, and we paid only 40€! Also the place is a beauty!

In one word amazing! We ordered the pitas just to try and frankly, we didn't have many expectations. We are people who come from Turkey and have eaten pita all our life, but these charcoal-grilled pitas we ate here were the best pitas we've ever eaten in our lives! Be sure to try it. We didn't get the chance to try all of their dishes, but all the ones we tried were great. If we go to Thessaloniki again, it was one of the first places we would go.

Efficient, fast and friendly service. Delicious, well prepared meals, done the gourmet way. All reasonably priced. We had the chicken ballotine, the fish fillet, the linguine pasta with prawns, the artisan salad, and a 500ml Rosé wine. We couldn't fault any of our meals. 55€ for the four of us Excellent choice and highly recommended. Wishing the owners the very best in the future

We had a wonderful meal at Mpakal last night. Everyone enjoyed the food, atmosphere and selection of music so much! Mr Kostas took care of every detail! Definitely a restaurant to try during your visit in Thessaloniki!

Was recommended by a friend to have our meal here and it certainly did not disappoint! The waiter was very patient and gave great suggestions :) food was delicious. Would come back again!

It is located in the center of the city, between Aristotelous Square and Ladadika in one of the most beautiful neoclassical buildings in Thessaloniki. It has more than 100 food options and 400 bottles of wine. The menu is so big that just to read it will take you a long time! Since it has a traditional wood oven, it is recommended to try products from there, such as pies and peignirli. Very kind staff and normal prices for the high food quality it offers.

We are here again for the second time as it was very good in October 2023. This time we were disappointed. The place was very crowded and the food was not good. (Compared to October). a lot of activity in the restaurant = poor quality of food The volume level is also very high. The music is very loud so that the guests have to shout. It was our last day of vacation and unfortunately with Bad Food.

The best meal we've had in Thessaloniki. Came here randomly because I passed by it a day earlier and thought it looked nice. It was absolutely beautiful. From the design, to the vibes to the food itself. The waiter always takes care of you. They were a little odd but maybe they didn't know English as well. The salad - I can't remember the exact name of the dish but it had pineapple sauce - was one of the best salads I've ever had. The risotto too was amazing. Lovely place! Make sure you check it out when visiting the city.

Fries with gravy and cheese are just delicious, same with the bread type pita with pork inside and tirokafteri. I ordered through efood and was pleasantly surprised

Amazing food, especially the cheese based dishes. Definitely one of the places to go to when visiting Thessaloniki. Their terrace is also pet friendly, they even provided a bowl of fresh water for our dog. Service was really good too, really nice and friendly staff.

Chicken Rissotto was not so good but the rest was great especially the meat was very tasty.We had take away n the food was so so fresh

This place was amazing. Great little street restaurant with excellent food. I had the chicken alla creme and it was delicious. Fantastic wine selection and very reasonable prices. Definitely would go back.

The best greek restaurant in Thessaloniki!! Everything is perfect: cute place, location, service, prices and quality of the food! They also have the best wines, the owner is super helping with that according to your taste and meals. They also have great cocktails (one of the best espresso martinis I had in my life). Greek salad is perfect, fried zucchini, greek cheese, taramas, truffle fries and mushroom risotto... Actually, all the meals I had the chance to try are so delicious! This is my number one to bring friends for a nice dinner to enjoy good food and drinks. Thank you Mpakal :)

Interesting place where having dinner in Thessaloniky. The restaurant offer a wide variety of food and the quality is good. Prices are really interesting, not that expensive at all. I was ordering one Greek salad to divide by two, one portion of fettuccine (pasta) garlic and oil, a dish of skewer chicken, half liter of house wine and a bottle of water for 31 euro. I liked eating here. I suggest to visit this restaurant.

The staff was attentive and very polite. The food was great. What keeps me from adding yet another star is the following: In Greece, is quite common to offer a small dessert (either sugary or fruit) at the end of the meal, without any additional cost. This was not offered by the restaurant.
