We went there for dinner on Saturday night. We had to wait for about 30-40 minutes but it was worth it. We ate one of the best octopus ever. Would definitely recommend it. The dessert was on the house, which was very nice.

Really nice place to try the best of Greek food. The area is very busy and full of life which makes it interesting too. Definitely get more dishes to try many things.

“Foul tou meze” is located in Ladadika of Tnessalonikis. Really nice decor and of course taverna vibes as it should. We ordered mix grill for 2 and some add up plates. Really nice service and really good prices. I highly recommend a reservation, especially on weekend since there always a huge line.

Extra busy, extra crowded, energetic establishment. Good food, quick service. Prefer Greek specialities rather than international alternatives. If you look for a romantic, quiet spot this is not the place to be.

Why would you eat anywhere else if you can eat here, is beyond me, even as a vegetarian like me. Yummy Beetroot Salad, Grape Leaves stuffed with riso and tzatziki sauces, cheese with tomato bases, crustalicious bread and the local liquor (that I can't quite pronounce but it tastes of anise/fennel). Smiling staff. Literally everyone stops by to check on you or just smile down at you when a few tables are empty and they aren't all crumbling from the rush. Saw a couple of desserts pass me by and have my eye on them, but for today, I'm a very stuffed black, content cat and I'll meander in here another day.... Update: they gave me free dessert, just look at this thing! Haha icecream topped on smashed biscuit with chocolate toppings

Traditional Greek tavern. It is located in a nice square with a fountain. The variety of Greek food you can try here is HUGE, really, almost too many options! I have tried the tsatsiki (good, not exceptional) and the onions filled with minced meat and stuff, they were very good. In the grilled vegetables they had fenomenal grilled mushrooms. Prices are low. The staff was a bit slow in serving and only one of them spoke English, but overall they tried to satisfy us.

The pork chops are super delicious, the Greek salad fresh, and the fried zucchini perfect. They do not take reservations but when you get there you wait around 10-15 mins to be seated:) nice staff and atmosphere:)

A small and modest place on a side street where we got lost. Lucky, because this was a find in a big city and away from all the hustle and bustle! We ordered 4 meze and all were really tasty and homemade. If you want to enjoy authentic Greek food and are not in a hurry, come here! strong recommendation 🥰. The host does everything herself and also serves the food. With the bill, a lovely piece of sweet and raki!

Great experience! Food was delicious and the ambience was great. The restaurant was very busy on the Monday evening but we were able to get a seat straight away (though inside). Their seafood was superb and the quantities decent for a very tourist heavy area. Only negative is the staff - though many- seemed over worked and it took an absolute age to get staff to do anything (take order, bring bill etc). Would visit again and would recommend!

Great experience all around. The servers were super friendly and the small plates were delicious. It is very lively in all corners of the restaurant and outside. Order in stages, the small plates are more food than you think.

This was a real high spot on our culinary travels in Thessaloniki. I’d done a little research and found some good reviews of this restaurant for its mere selection. It’s based in a cute little square surrounded by other restaurants so I imagine the competition must be quite fierce. Having worn our feet out from walking we fell into our chairs and was greeted by an older gentlemen who I believe may have been the owner. He pulled up a chair and took our order and was happy to see us (always a good start) We ordered a few small plates but decided to get the meat bbq platter to share. It only took 10 minutes for our food to arrive and we already had our drinks so the service is impeccable here. The meat platter was a nice mix of local sausage, beef, pork, lamb and chicken all in nice palatable portions. This along with our Greek salad, dips and bread was more than enough to keep us going and in fact we didn’t eat anything else that day such were the portions on offer! I loved the vibe here were you can people watch, listen to the chatter of local gossip (I assume that’s what the Greeks do too haha) and get the occasional street performer. Swinging by with his guitar. We would definitely return to this lovely little spot.

good and fresh food, in particular we recommend seafood, which is fried in very good olive oil, nice grilled chicken and fresh salads, nice customer service, dessert for free according to the wonderful Greek hospitality :)

We had some beetroot salad, eggplant with Feta and Gigantes beans. The chicken was served later but it wasn't that good. Chicken wasn't chicken breast and it was a very tiny portion. Chicken, eggplant and beetroot salad missed salt. But it was very authentic food and the Ouzo/Raki Sortiment is highly to recommend! Prices are fair especially for this location

The ladadika district is the place to visit for good food if you're in Thessaloniki. But one place that I always make sure to eat at, is full tou meze. The food is always great and it really doesn't matter what you choose but always make sure to add one of their side plates ti your order like the stuffed mushrooms or the fried zucchini. And if you are lucky the gentleman who takes your order will make it an experience to be remembered as he describes the food you order in his unique way

Everything about this place is great. The food is amazing and cheap, compared to the quantities. The location si fabulous, the staff the same. They offer free desert. We payed 40€, for 2 people. 15€ were only the drinks: 1 water, 1 beer. 1 glass of whine, 1 glass of ouzo. We ate 4 different dishes and bread for 25€. So basically it's free :)) and again, it's a lot of food. Check it out, you won't be dissapointed LE: we tried to eat again here, on Friday night. The place was full and also people waiting in line. So i suggest uou make a reservation

Full tou Mezze is a casual small plates restaurant offering a menu of Greek dips, salads, meats, seafood, and more! To start, the trilogy of dips came with tzatziki, spicy tirokafteri (feta), and my favorite, taramosalata, a fish roe dip. All of the spreads were creamy and flavorful and went nicely with bread on the side. Next, the Salad Tree was an opulent-looking salad made of lettuce in a warm dried fruit dressing topped with dried figs/cherries and balls of cheese rolled in poppy and sesame seeds, all served in a crispy pastry bowl. The salad was on the sweet side for me, but my favorite part was the balls of creamy cheese, which went nicely spread on some bread. The grilled calamari came with three skewers of squid with cherry tomatoes and bell peppers, served with a side of bulgur. While decent, the skewers weren’t particularly flavorful or fresh and could’ve been better seasoned. Finally, we had the Mussels Saganaki, made of mussels cooked with feta and peppers in a yellow mustard broth with a distinctly sour flavor. Overall, the small plates here were all delicious and came at a good value, though they were rustic and lacked a certain finesse in flavor and presentation.

This place is where we have our dinner 3 out of 5 times at least when we are in Thessaloniki. Simply their dishes are delicious, prices are reasonable. They don’t take reservations so sometimes you need to wait for a table but we never waited more then 10 mins.

Fair prices with many alternatives. A bit overrated in terms of taste. Not very extraordinary tastes but delicious in general. Recommend you to try. There is a menu in Turkish also

It’s one of the busiest restaurant in that area but totally worth it. Well, the staffs are quite busy they don’t have too much time to introduce you the food but they are friendly enough. For these seafoods are amazing! Super juicy fresh mussels, the shrimps are frozen but still taste fantastic!!! Great food and dessert!
