Mezze
is
a
casual
small
plates
restaurant
offering
a
menu
of
Greek
dips,
salads,
meats,
seafood,
and
more!
To
start,
the
trilogy
of
dips
came
with
tzatziki,
spicy
tirokafteri
(feta),
and
my
favorite,
taramosalata,
a
fish
roe
dip.
All
of
the
spreads
were
creamy
and
flavorful
and
went
nicely
with
bread
on
the
side.
Next,
the
Salad
Tree
was
an
opulent-looking
salad
made
of
lettuce
in
a
warm
dried
fruit
dressing
topped
with
dried
figs/cherries
and
balls
of
cheese
rolled
in
poppy
and
sesame
seeds,
all
served
in
a
crispy
pastry
bowl.
The
salad
was
on
the
sweet
side
for
me,
but
my
favorite
part
was
the
balls
of
creamy
cheese,
which
went
nicely
spread
on
some
bread.
The
grilled
calamari
came
with
three
skewers
of
squid
with
cherry
tomatoes
and
bell
peppers,
served
with
a
side
of
bulgur.
While
decent,
the
skewers
weren’t
particularly
flavorful
or
fresh
and
could’ve
been
better
seasoned.
Finally,
we
had
the
Mussels
Saganaki,
made
of
mussels
cooked
with
feta
and
peppers
in
a
yellow
mustard
broth
with
a
distinctly
sour
flavor.
Overall,
the
small
plates
here
were
all
delicious
and
came
at
a
good
value,
though
they
were
rustic
and
lacked
a
certain
finesse
in
flavor
and
presentation.
