😐 One star goes to quality which was good. Everything was well cooked and presented. The second goes to value for money because for the dishes we ordered 53 euros was well worth it. But this place loses from service which is immature and slow and somewhat rude, presumptuous and abrupt. The tuna steak... One star goes to quality which was good. Everything was well cooked and presented. The second goes to value for money because for the dishes we ordered 53 euros was well worth it. But this place loses from service which is immature and slow and somewhat rude, presumptuous and abrupt. The tuna steak never came in the end… and finally it’s located in a little side street in the midst of concrete jungle that screams for oxygen and a glimpse of blue sky. All in all this is an overhyped restaurant that many are dying to visit but most wouldn’t lose an awful lot if they don’t.

Now 3* is a bit harsh. Its nore like 3.5* Restaurant has a good ideology, great story, organic, fresh etc BUT We had 4 dishes. Asparagus/cheese/some other greens, kind of salad and that was nice. 4* Potato with botarga and cheese. NEVER TASTED any of botarga cause cheese was far too strong. 1* for that one. Fava with squid 4* And Monkfish with chickpeas 3* cause monkfish was rosted Then The waiter was very nice But never asked us if someone is alergic to something Since monkfish was daily menu We did not know that it comes with chickpeas so my wife could not eat Also Wine list. Listen, if you are selling greek organic wine to tourists you need to have at least 10 wines to.serve on glass. And also If I ask you for suggestion You DO NOT offer me the most expensive wine. It simply has to be middle priced good value for money wine I couls go on like this Basically i like Mourga but they have to improve and build on the story.

It's not as impressive as the hype says. On the bright side, the house wines are amazing and at a good price. The food is good, but I wouldn't say memorable. Service was truly friendly.

Greek modern fish restaurant. We’ve been coming here quite some time. Everytime the food is great. A mix of traditional with a modern twist. Though the only thing we did notice from the last time is that the prices did go somehow up. Non the less great food and service.

We visited Mourga on a Saturday afternoon. Strongly suggest on booking a table. The menu looked fantastic we didn’t know which dish to get first. I highly recommend the shrimps with eggs and the smoked eel with fish roe (tarama). Also the mussels with zucchini pasta. Out of this world experience. The waiters are so friendly you truly experience Greek hospitality. Really amazing food!

One of the nicest meals I’ve ever eaten. The menu is hand written because it changes frequently and that means you are getting the freshest ingredients. We had Drum Fish Sashimi, zucchini salad (with these tiny zucchini which I’ve never had before), grilled shrimp with soft boiled egg (that you mixed into this cream cheese) - amazing flavours and crab pasta, also wonderfully tasty. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, the wines were very nice and very reasonably priced Will 100% go back again.

i have been going to this restaurant with my family for many years and we have never been disappointed. the menu is always changing, so you can try something new. I can't even put in words how good the food is. it's different, heqlthy fresh and you taste spices and eat vegetables, that will expand your view on the greek cuisine. The fish is always fresh, and the prices are amazing. It's a must visit when in Thessaloniki!!!!

Amazing dishes, the best restaurant so far from Thessaloniki that I've visited it. I've been tasting other restaurants' dishes, but this is really one of the best! (I've stayed in Thessaloniki for 5months so far and I kindly recommend to order by heart from here, nor dine in). Asking for an advice in choosing the proper wine that could get in harmony with the plates you have ordered is very recommend! Also the first restaurant where the waiters had amazing English skills. :)

It was a beautiful 5 course meal we tried. A bit on the heavier and heartier plates, but tasty. The only let down was the smell of urine from the neighborhood, that bothers quite a bit.

Great and creative blending of fish and veggies, thumbs up because this is a truly MEATLESS restaurant. Tried the asparagus, octopus, mussels , they were all delicious and the quality of the ingredients is top notch. The only negative is the staff’s attitude towards ordering. We were told we have to order everything by 10PM because the kitchen was closing at 11PM!

One of the best places in Thessaloniki to eat fish. You can find different techniques in their plates and the quality of products they use is great. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Definitely a place to visit

This place is what to me restaurant Dining is about; not making something that kills hunger or barely fulfils its promise from label. This is - tasty, exciting, using your expectations and known tastes, to bring you surprise & joy from eating. I came here 3 years ago and was so absolutely happy to see that this place braved the Covid-induced closures. Came back now with a group of friends. At the start we were welcomed by the owner, telling us about their philosophy (fresh local ingredients and so the menu, every day - and so also the wine pairings). For people not keen on wine, they have a great blonde that is just strong enough taste wine to make a mark, while not overpowering the palette while eating. We were with a person who doesn’t eat shellfish and even with this we had an absolute Feast. Started with a fruit salad and a goat (?) cheese salad. Fresh tasty, ingredients, great combinations of tastes. Followed by a raw mackerel fresh salad, fish (can’t recall which one) in tomato sauce with broad beans (usually that sauce dish has meat in it - great , surprising combo !). Loved also the ochra - such an understated vegetable ! - with tomato-ish sauce and runny egg. Grilled prawns - also in a fantastic combo ! - now with creamy cheese and runny egg. We finished with tuna steaks, done in 2 different ways - and the ways in which they were done were so different, and tasty on their own.

Very nice experience. Really good food. Traditional Greek taverna but in a gourme style way. Exceptional.

A surprisingly pleasant dining experience focused more on fresh seafood dishes with a twist. Located in a quieter place of the city, the place offers good food, a solid wine list and decent service. A bit overpriced, but definitely worth a visit

Definitely recommended! Authentic place with cultural atmosphere, great service and open kitchen👨‍🍳👩‍🍳. The dishes are based on fish🐟 or seafood🦞 and there are also some salads🥬. Everything is different and really outstanding, but cooked in a traditional Greek way! I also liked the food styling. Congrats 👏

One of the best restaurants in the city. They are lovely people running an excellent kitchen. Menu of the day is great, the focus is on fresh ingredients and seafood items. The staff speak both English and Greek.

There are no words to describe the place… Try everything you can. Every plate is unique and is a surprise. Mussels with trachana, milocopi with orzo…and many more. Most if not all ingredients organic, fresh wine and good plates presentation. Elevated Greek cuisine in a very decent price.

Very basic surroundings but highly imaginative (though small) menu based on locally available seasonal produce. Freshly baked breads. Nice wine list. Ample portions for a very good price. Execution on the other hand has some room for improvement. Worth visiting in any case.

One of the best food house in Thessaloniki today. Paying great respect to nature's ingredients, excellent service, reasonable prices. But don't expect any deserts. There are not any. Pity.

This is possibly the best eatery in Thessaloniki. Congratulations and keep up the passionate work. Serving real food with authentic (the owner is Cretan/Pontian) flavors. Natural Greek wines are the perfect pairing. This is an experience for grown ups. Worth the hike to the 'upper city'.

Food-amazing Service- amazing Total experience-amazing We came quite late, the place was full, we were romantically fixed with a simple, off the record, kind of table, and sant further down the alley. Our waiter had the best recommendations for drinks and food which is constantly changing in this wonderful place, and very professionally hosted us on our last, fabulous evening in Greece. Thank you for a sweet fairwell....
