A very nice fine dining restaurant that makes creative dishes with local ingredients. Would recommend it to someone looking to experience a creative take on traditional Greek cuisine (Neo-Greek?). A bit on the pricy side, as this type of restaurant often is, but well worth it.

We wanted to visit the place for a long time and we finally did it. The decor is minimal and modern not too cozy nor cold. The service very polite and attentive. The food was delicious. Flavors very thoughtfully and smart combined! Some common plates with a twist and some very creative ideas. Excellent! We also find a wide variety of wines. Overall a very pleasant experience. I definitely recommend this place. 👍

We’ve been to Thessaloniki 4 times and come here every time. The food is excellent and you’re guaranteed a great meal. In the past, we’ve had the pork belly, crème brûlée rib eye (yes, you heard right and it was delightful), lamb pasta, gnocchi with beef cheeks and it was all very good. The servers are also very polite and diligent. One suggestion to the restaurant: bring back the crème brûlée rib eye!

Tasty and creative greek plates made by top quality products. Everyone was kind and helpful. Extensive list of wines. They have a weekly freshly made beer (very tasty too).

One of the best restaurants we visited in Greece, the staff is very nice and helpful and helps recommend you food. Very beautiful dishes with impressive flavours. Also have the me too the amazing IPA that they make themselves is a must to take here.

Great food and great service. Our server was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the food and ingredients, it really helped us make exquisite choices. Drinks were well curated - interesting brands rather than mass market. Decor is minimal but again carefully chosen- we liked it. The only reason Atmosphere was a 4 rather than 5 was we visited during the gap between lunch and dinner. Definitely a ‘go to’ if you are in Thessaloniki.

One of the nicest meals I’ve had in a while. Very unique dishes that taste excellent. Definitely worth dining there, although prices are on the high side and portions not the biggest.

The portions are large, we ordered a special salad with cherry tomatoes, cheese, watermelon and the salad dressing was simply amazing. You can be impressed by the pictures

Honestly, the food flavors were mind blowing. The service staff warmed up as the afternoon progressed. I sat outside in the mild weather. I found it hard to find, but I persisted. Oct. 2023

Amazing restaurant. The meals were very tasty with lots of depths and variety of flavours. The dishes are presented beautifully. The service is very good. This is definitely a place on our list to visit again.

The service was sluggish and indifferent. The table had not been prepared, even though we had made a reservation and arrived with a customary 10min delay. I certainly expect more from a 30€/person restaurant in the culinary and hospitality Mecca that is Thessaloniki. The food is naturally the strong point of the Bistro. The iceberg salad fresh and vibrant, the giouzlemedes a meaty tour de force and the lamp burger juicy and sweet. Room for improvement here too, as the highlight that should have been the beef chuck eye stake was inconsistently cooked. The bistro's reputation precedes it. The stakes are literally high. I will surely offer a second chance to Master and Margarita, but I am looking forward to a better experience.

Always an amazing restaurant. I had the ceviche and the beef cheeks. I usually don’t beets at all but this restaurant can even make beets taste delicious. I always go here several times when I’m in Thessaloníki. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately our experience was below average. Food was very mediocre: starter promised multitude of ingredients- but turned to be just backed potatoes with a morsel of tiny sausage bits, my homemade pasta dish was overly salted, desert was super dry - no comparison to many other amazing restaurants we have enjoyed in Thessaloniki. The only highlight was pork in coffee with quince sauce, a beautifully balanced dish. I told when booking it was for my husband’s birthday, yet that fell on deaf ears - surely it’s standard to offer a tiny sweet, or at least congratulations? And when asked why the place was named after my favourite book - the waiter shrugged that it just sounded good. What a shame

Love the place. I discovered it back in 2016 and since then I always visit it when in Thessaloniki for work. The menu is getting updated frequently and remains surprisingly impressive. The tastes are fruity- salads are colourful and tasty and as far as I'm concerned the materials used are first quality. Would definitely suggest it to those who like modern cuisine with some traditional Greek substances. Deserts are a must have so keep.some appetite and do not get carried away and over-order. Lastly the wine menu is long and the waiters can always help with some suggestions. Update: every time I go, is another reconfirmation of how much I love this place. On top of the great tastes and looks of all plates I have tried so far, the service quality is also A+ Only positive things to add about this place. Remains in my top 3 in the north and certainly in the top 5 in Greece. Absolutely love it!

Great Dinner Experience and really great service. It was our last night in Thessaloniki and the best way to end our stay. The beetroot risotto was to die for 😍

A very tasty surprise in Salonic. The food is just perfect, so different than usual food, slow cooking, a lot of options for vegetarians. Only 27 Eur spent for 2 people and we are full. You have to try this restaurant, totally worth it. It became immediately one of the best restaurant I have ever eaten (not in Salonic, everywhere else). +++10 for everything ❤️ You made our night perfect for this short stay in Salonic. P..S. We also had pasta, but we just forgot to take a picture.

Top quality restaurant with very interesting ideas put together on delicious dishes. A bit pricey as many similar restaurants at that level are. On the plus side, their carte is often renewed.

Tasty food but quite bad service. We had to wait for around 1 hour for the last 2 dishes to arrive ot of 6 in total (since the 4th dish arrived). That can of course happen but it was a bit frustrating that the delay was not even acknowledged.

Foodies, do not miss this exquisite place. Tasty plates, Greek creative cuisine and all reasonably priced. We loved the waiters, kind and helpful. Wine list all Greek and very extensive. Top quality. Meets and vegetables all excellent Street is very lively and full of great bars. What a treat!

I have eaten at this restaurant four times and four different dishes. Each time the food was not just great, it was outstanding. If you like creative very flavorful food, this is this the place to go. The food is sort of like Greek fusion. The octopus, the ceviche, the beef filet, you will be happy you ordered any of these. They have a cheese dish with shredded phyllo dough and honey. Just amazing. Also the service is top notch. I do not know why Michigan has not given this restaurant three stars.

Gem, fantastic, special, wonderful... This is a "find", and should definitely be on your list of places to go at least once...but betting you'll go more often than that. The food is creative and very well made, tons of heart put in...it'll hold your soul...and attention in every bite. God bless this chef...
