Disappointing sushi experience. Decor and seating is all great. Menu seems to be priced reasonably until you receive the food. Portion of fish to rice is way off. I ordered 3 separate items and they were all disappointing. I’d recommend a noodle bowl or the poke bowl but I’d avoid everything else. 2 star rating as the staff was very friendly. I would not return.

A nice place for sushi 🍣. You cannot make a reservation so after 9 there is usually a line. The service was below average for some of the staff. They didn't clean out table/ bar when we sat down. The food came relatively fast and it was was very good. However we noticed a small dead cockroach on the counter, which we told the waitress and then some other person who seemed to be in charge. Prices good.

Went here on the last day of our holliday to eat some Sushi (forgot to make an image of the nigiri) Our experience begon with me calling to make a reservation. This was not possible and we were told just to come by, okay fine. After we arrived we were supprised to see a pretty long line. So know if you go some what later in the evening (after 21:00) you will have to wait. We had to wait 25 minutes, while some young kids were just chilling there the whole time drinking water. The food arrived relatively quick, the fish was of decent quality, sad that the Sushi gets ruined by hot rice. This is not supposed to be... The noodles were really tasty, same as the empura schrimp and the popcorn shrimp! Would recommend them both. My conclusion: Feeling like sushi after having stuffed yourself full with gyros, souvlaki and other delicious greek food then this is a fine place to eat. Not to expensive (we had a bill of €80 with 4 people who eat good) just be prepared that the sushi is not the same as in the Netherlands (where i am from) but it will satisfy your needs. Tip, please make sure the rice aint hot, that made the difference of a 3 and a 4 star rating.

This place is worth returning and returning over and over again. Every time the fish were very fresh and also cut very beautiful and very nice portions. The sauce on the Salmon rose was a bit too much. But overall very amazing.

Not the best sushi I've ever had, but one of the best I've eaten in the city. Location is great, as you can enjoy a nice walk next to the sea after your meal. Prices are low, considering other places and what they provide for the same prices. Service was really fast but not welcoming and more forced. Menu has some vegan options.

I had two of the vegetarian options the one with the fried tofu (spinach rolls) and the vegetarian rolls. The spinach rolls due to the cream cheese were delicious the other ones were very plain. My friends had the rest in the photos, they said the red ones were really spicy. 5 stars because the service was absolutely great, extremely polite staff!

I never thought I would have sushi in Greece, but when a craving hits, it hits hard. Not only did this satisfy a craving, but it absolutely exceeded all expectations for great sushi. Please do yourself the favor and check out Koi Sushi Bar - you won't regret it. The house wine, california roll and dragon roll shine bright in this undeniably authentic culinary experience. Disappointing experience: The sushi was drowned in sauce, making it difficult to taste the eel. The rice was unexpectedly hard for sushi, barely sticky, and would fall apart when trying to pick it up. The salad was a letdown; the mango lacked its usual flavor, and I recommend removing it from the menu if quality can't be maintained. Moreover, it was excessively sauced, lacking the promised hint of chili mentioned in the description. Additionally, some salad leaves appeared wilted. Overall, this was my least satisfying Asian dining experience.

The food is very good for its price and me and my friends go there often . I would give it 5 stars but its not perfect, it IS very good tho and i would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Very good sushi, we enjoyed it very much although we didn’t expect waiting 35 minutes for the sushi to come. If we had known we probably would have come less hungry 😉

The service was amazing and was hospitable. The food itself was disappointing though. The fish was fresh and tasty, but the rice is of an American Chinese buffet quality. It was mushy and chewy. Overall I would still recommend to those with a craving for sushi in Thessaloniki.

The food is really good. The fish is fresh or fresh-like and very creamy. But the service is really slow. We ordered 3 sushi plates at 22:10 and received them at 23:05. Which is outrageous for any store no matter how crowded it gets. The store has a "side or the road" kind of atmosphere while there are no working fans for the hot summer nights of Greece. Overall, there are better and more affordable places to go to.

Nice atmosphere. Buns were great but we focused on the Sushi which was not as good. Rice was dry and fish not fresh enough. Not a bad experience but not the best.

Very good food. We eat only here every time we are in Thessaloniki. Suggestion: to clean the tables more thoroughly. They are all very sticky, or to put a paper table sheet.

Location location location Had sushi in many places in the world, this one is by far the most amateur one. The tuna roll came so fast that I wasn’t sure if it wasn’t already prepared and the tuna looked like a simple canned one.. The sushi was made as if my little brother made it.

Don’t know what other recent reviewers talked about but the place was so amazing! Staff was friendly and attentive. Location is convenient and interior is stylish. Price is very reasonable, portion of sushi rolls was great and it taste very good! Sashimi was fresh and sushi rice was great. I’ve been to many sushi places in the world and this one is definitely will be on my list. Bathroom was very clean and restaurant too. With such a good price for great quality, nothing to complain about! Except of course if you can supply Kirin the Japanese beer, it would be even better! Can’t wait to go back ;)

I love this place!! I have been here already twice so I can be sure wasn't casual. I tried different sushi restaurants while and after the quarantine. The variety isn't great, but I don't think this is a weakness, a limited but good choice as them fabulous mix combo. Koi beats them all for the quality-price of the products. The location is nice with sitting indoors and outdoors, the staff is lovely and they'll see me again soon

Was very delicious, the best sushi I've ever had! The bao here can compete with the best of them, and the restaurant was beautiful.

Excellent fresh sushi which is way better than top places in Central London (and much cheaper too). I'm definitely coming here a lot more. Friendly and professional service too with comfortable seating area both inside and outside the restaurant. I cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you're a huge fan of sushi like myself.

So sad I discovered this place on our last day, as I would've gladly eaten dinner here at least three more days. Great sushi place right in the center of Thessaloniki, prices are affordable, the quality is great and they're fast! We dropped by and made a to go order that was ready in less than 10min. It looks like an enjoyable place to sit at too, right off the pier in a more intimate surrounding. I highly recommend the shrimp tempura, yum!

Used to be our favourite place for sushi but lately the quality has been lowered. I don't know if it's because of cost cutting or change of cooks ( that are not Asian anymore) but I would love it to be back what it used to be. Hope for the best.
