Tasty food, friendly waitresses and silence place in a noisy city. I would recommend it to anyone who who to have a nice break during the visit.

Tsinari is one of the oldest, most traditional and iconic places in Thessaloniki, established in 1885. I always visit them when in town and enjoy the sea food. A generous portion of ice cream and kazandibi for free after finishing the meal! Highly recommended to visit this historical place

Perfect Greek ouzeri experience. Meze dishes and excellent beer. The walk to the taverna was a steep one but it was worth it. It’s located in the narrow streets of the old town of Thessaloniki. My personal favourite was the octopus and the deep fried courgettes which were both fabulous - but I guess you could order anything on the menu and it would be absolutely amazing.

Sweet, authentic low key little restaurant selling local dishes at reasonable prices. Definitely worth the short walk up the hill. Staff are friendly and the food is plentiful, authentic and tasty. We will be back!

Shrimp in casserole is very delicious. The ambience is exactly what I was looking for. All the dishes are delicious. Don't forget to visit here when you come to Thessaloniki.

Outstanding food. EDIT: This is one of the best restaurants we have ever visited. We literally booked a trip to Greece again to visit this place. Greece is generally amazing. Almost wherever you go, food will be great but skip the tourist traps.

We had a lovely dinner, it was crowded but they got us a table, food was really tasty, tzukini chips was ok but too greasy, we didnt mids cats that were around and cars passing really close. We also got cake on the house, Would come again!

I guess this is an iconic Thessaloniki destination. Some of the dishes were excellent- courgette tempura and pork souvlaki - but others were a bit slapdash - the chips were not completely cooked and the sausage dishes were very dull. I'm being a bit generous with 4*

The best food in Thessaloniki that we had. Very kind personel, on Sundays they close sooner and we didn’t know, so they extended opening time for us. Really worth visiting if you want to try local food.

A gem in the area that exists since 1885 🤩 simply mind blowing! The food was excellent, super delicious, the atmosphere cozy and familiar and the service simply great! Totally recommend to anyone who's looking for a lunch place near the castles !

Simple place for heaving food. Food was cheap and tasty. Service was great. Many cats around want to play and get some food from you:)

Excellent and authentic food at an affordable price... as long as you are handed the correct bill amount. An unfortunate administrative error meant that we were nearly charged €27 instead of €16, but I pointed this mistake out with the card machine already primed with the higher amount and got a weak apology. If you are a tourist then always double check before paying. Service was slow, though the place was packed with locals. It is also worth noting that you may have to put up with starving stray kittens that even climb on the wall next to your table if sat outside.

Great place. Good food and coziness are the hallmarks. You can probably find food on par with or better than what's served here elsewhere, but this is probably the best place within the Ana poli.

Quality of food in Tsinari is really something worth coming here. Anything you might order here will positively blow your mind. Of course be sure to get a glass or four of their house wine with what you are having. There are local cats that will accompany you during your meal, but don't worry - they can behave and will not bother you in any way :)

Very tasty local dishes. The fried zucchini chips were a good surprise. Pleasant atmosphere generally good service. My main course was forgotten. Returned to the lower city along the old city wall which had a beautiful panoramic view towards the port.

Nice location even there is a lot of trafic along side. The place is really great. Traditional food but really good even maybe zucchini croquettes clearly compact. The lamb's chops are amazing, famous; full tasty, crunchy, just gorgeous.

In the heart of Thessalonikis old town you find this amazing old restaurent. I dont think you can get any better value for money anywhere in thessaloniki, and the staff is very nice. We got 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 glasses of wine and desert, water and bread for 29 euros. The food tasted amazing and the atmosphere was amazing too. Its filled with locals. Fantastic place

Excellent restaurant in authentic condition. Lots of choice and super fast and friendly service. The dishes are excellently tasty, there is nothing to complain about. Beware of the mosquitoes after 8 pm. Definitely a must if you are in Thessaloniki!
