Ordered gluten free pizza and Greek salad. Greek salad was good value but for the €14 euros charged for the gluten free pizza, we expected better than a factory bought pizza, which was honestly inedible. Made worse by the fact that a partial refund was refused. Would not recommend to anyone looking for an easy gluten free meal in thessaloniki

The moussaka was very good. The waiter was kind and polite and the food was ready very quick + we received free ice cream at the end so + points for this also 😁

We had a pizza while sitting outside, the view is calming. The pizza was nicely cooked and seemed to have quality ingredients. Staff was reasonably fast and professional as well. Overall a great experience. We didn't order anything else ourselves, but nearby tables ordered pasta and risottos and they looked quite appealing.

Great tasty pizza and delicious salads in beautiful environment but it’s little bit expensive for the portions you get.

Friendly stuff, fast service and good prices. We ordered a mushroom risotto, a chicken salad, and linguini with chicken and spinach. Although the food tasted good in general, the chicken on its own didn't in neither of the plates. Could have a bigger wine selection.

We live in the USA and came to Thessaloniki for vacation. Basilico was one of the best places to eat.The servers Krisa and Vivi were amazing. They gave terrific service and were very friendly and welcoming. Pasta and risotto that Andoni made for us was delicious and so flavorful. Thank you so much guys that made us feel at home.

We went for launch and after we ordered we asked for 2 glasses of water. Our waitress told us that they don't give glasses of tap water and that we should by a bottle if we want water. I told her that no restaurant of cafeteria does such a thing. You can't deny free water to your guests. She replied that it's now that they don't want to, but their tap water is bad for the whole block, bot just them. So I said that this is some of the most ridiculous thing I have heard, because, I live in Thessaloniki and I go to cafeterias on the same block as this restaurant all the time (we were on a cafe right next to this restaurant just minutes ago) and all of them offer tap water. If your water is bad, you use filters or you give bottled water for free. You don't deny it or charge it extra. I work in a known hotel nearby and I used to recommend this restaurant as a good Italian cuisine restaurant. Never recommending again. Not worth visiting and treated like that.

I was visit friends to thessaloniki and I ask them about where to eat some pasta dishes and they answer me, go to Basilico. Ooook. I like the salad was tasty but what about pasta??? Pasta was over cooked I think or many time in boiling. The bolognese it was like premade sauce from supermarket I don't like the taste and with over-boiling pasta was little bit strange. But it was ok. Good prices, good service. If I will visit again thessaloniki I will give another one try to see how pizza will be. Maybe pizza is supreme because I see good oven that cook pizza inside.The environment is friendly and clean and with nice view to thermaeikos ocean and white tower of thessaloniki. That's all.

Gluten free pizza!! Great gluten free pizza. It only comes one way but it was excellent. I asked them to add some fresh basil on top after it was done, added great flavour. Another good gluten-free restaurant. Must try when you’re in Thessaloniki.

A prestigious establishment which is known for its fresh and tantalising Pizza. It is situated right by the seafront which makes the view just sensational. The service was terrific as the servers were friendly and were happy to help throughout our dining crioteria. If any members of the team are reading this, I kindly suggest in providing Chilli Oil as this will transcend the experience of fellow customers.

My wife and I are visiting Greece from California and were extremely pleased to find Basilico. We highly recommend it because the food we ordered was simply Amazing!! We had pizza, shrimp and pasta along with wine. Great food and service as well.

The food was good. It does get super busy, so the service can get a little slow. Right up by the waterfront.

Delicious pizza! The dough was nice and soft and squishy but not undercooked, the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were a good size! Large selection of drinks, and very fast service, especially considering that it was a very busy day. The staff were very polite too. Highly recommend!

The location right on the water is nice. The waitress was eager. We wanted to order a gluten-free pizza margarita, however they said they only had one with ham for today. So presumably the gluten free pizzas are not freshly made. Unfortunately, they also no longer had the beer we wanted. The food that we then got was okay, but rather average. Since we chose the restaurant only because of the gluten-free pizza, we were disappointed.

Do not go if you are gluten free or celiac!! I wanted to eat there but they say they don't have anything to offer gluten free anymore.

Nice pizza, possibly the best that I had anywhere in Greece. I especially enjoyed their garlic bread.

Disappointed about the salmon.... an Italian restaurant served cooked smoke salmon.... on my prospective was smelly and bad taste..

Great taste. The straight view on the ocean is nice, too. Unfortunately there's a lot of traffic passing by!

The location is good and pleasant, as is the staff. The risotto with truffle was good, but the salad of the same name with the place only okay. The prices are ok but not in expensive. Pizzas a bit pricey and no special flavors. Overall good for something quick.

Great food,but if you sit outside it is not so pleasent because you sit literaly on the street where people walk by,and the a lot of cars drive thru...so you sit and eat in dust and smoke...

Delicious pizza (they didn't have any problem with mixing two kinds on halves) and garlic bread. They add a lot of olive oil, which I consider a good move. The staff is kind and nice, they have menu in English and the bathroom is exceptionally clean.

Service abhorrent. From when we were given the menu, it took 28 minutes to place our order, after several times of asking. In the end, another customer said that we had been waiting longer so they should serve us first!! Food ok but nothing special. Only good thing about the place is location, right across from the sea but a very busy road.

Very good & fine place. We have in Hungary, Szentendre same Basilico pizzeria, that is also perfect!

The friendliest staff I have ever met,it was a pleasure just ordering to them!Loved the quality of the food and the view to Thermaikos.I just really want to say about how great the waitress and waiter was.Congratulatioms to them, I've never felt more nice in a restaurant.

The food was overpriced for what they offer. The food was not served in the same time and when 7 out of 8 had their meal, the friend left behind asked for his risotto and they said it’s almost ready but we think that they forgot about it because it came after 15’.. they apologised but still.. after waiting 1 hour and a half.. my pasta has no taste even if it was with smoked carbonara. Only the musaca was very good

In my opinion,your in Thessaloniki and hungry? Definitely visit Basilico especially the pizza’s they were great cheesy enough and crunchy in the same time. The service was really good the waiter was really nice and we were so glad. The view was the best part,you could see the sea such an amazing atmosphere you should definitely check it out!!
