Reasonable prices for very good meals. I had got recommendation for this place from a local. He said that despite being in tourist area, this is a place where local people go for a meal. That says something. I recommend fried cheese - either saganotyri served with jam, or feta served with honey and sesame seeds. What I didn't like was really bad toilet. Customers should be more clean and staff should check state in the bathrooms more often.

Had a quick lunch here. Good simple food, fast enough service, normal prices. Had a Greek salad and chicken souvlaki with lemon sauce and (a LOT of) nicely seasoned baked potatoes. All very OK.

Great food but pretty small portions. They promised dissert at the end, on the house and then they forgot to bring it. Bathrooms are dirty and lights don't work.

Probably the best restaurant we found during our stay in Thessaloniki. Fresh atmosphere, excellent cuisine, you should try the cheese specialties, they go great with retsina and are unique. The htapodi was excellent. A small bijou in downtown Thessaloniki.

The food is really good and the environment is nice, but the staff looks bored and isn't friendly (in the way that waiters should be I mean). Change staff or train them better!

A standard taverna with no special touch, however if you are seeking traditional cousine,- you still can visit. I took stuffed tomato’s and pork bites and they were too oily, literally swimming in oil. The staff was fast, nonetheless not friendly. I’ve asked whether he could suggest me anything and the reply was “take what you ordered”. Also the fans were turned on max, so it was not really comfortable to sit outside. Not the best place, but not beyond normal. If you ask me whether I suggest or not, my answer would be ‘not’

Excellent food and good prices. Best meal in Thessaloniki, we ate here twice. We definitely recommend this place.

The food is amazing and not that expensive. We ordered shrimps, chicken bytes, bread, grilled feta, gyros and some other stuff I don't remember how it's named; 7 portions of food + extras ~100 euro total. If you come here you have to buy at least one type of cheese, as other reviews are suggesting (at the moment of writing, in the menu were 4 types of cheese - we ordered 3 of them and all were delicious and unique). Some orders came fast, some came slower. The portions are somehow above the average size but still cheaper than anything at the average restaurant / taverna. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The staff is not that exited, but they do their job well. If you want to eat dinner here outside, you may want to make a phone reservation before coming here. We were lucky that 2 tables freed up just as we have arrived. There is room inside though. The water they bring initially to the table is NOT free of charge.

Will come back there one day! So worth it! Friendly staff, very tasty food and excellent house wine! Lots of Greeks dining in there:)

Nice and fast service and friendly personnel. The dishes are reasonably priced but you can tell that you are getting average quality products. However they are very nicely presented and there are a few twists on classic flavours.
