I've eaten in many places around the world, from Australia to the USA. I rarely give maximum points because everything has to be perfect, and that is rare. Here we went a little early but we didn't regret it, attentive service and great flavours. The stuffed squid was so delicious we'd go back to the city just for that, and that's saying a lot. I can confidently recommend this restaurant to everyone with a clear heart.

Nice meze with tasty dishes. Menu is slightly different of the dozens of restaurants around it, give it a go if you are looking for local food with a twist.

Got seats instantly and immediately served a bottle of water and bread. Dimitri took our order and recommended dishes and drinks. We had one aubergine starter with meat to share. For main we had souvlaki and mushroom risotto. The aubergine starter is really something I’d recommend since it was a new taste combination for me. If you’re a fan of salsiccia or sucuk this dish is the right one for you. The chicken souvlaki was delicious and I love that it was served with potatoes, zucchini, aubergine and crusty roasted onion. I’m fed up with fries and this was spot on. The risotto was very good and unfortunately it had been a bit overly salted, but not that it was uneatable. We shared our feedback and the chef was even out apologising. We had a good laugh about it and this was a delight moment that showcases greek hospitality at its best. Our waiter Dimitri is a solid guy and we also had the chance to speak with a man, Nikolas. Whom I can assume is a manager or owner. He was also very talkative and pleasant to speak with before parting ways. I’d recommend visiting here as we had a very good experience.

Vegan mushroom risotto was loved by the vegan and non vegan visiting! Humus was different but delicious. Wait staff nice and answered questions. Beautiful inside and outside.

Good food, location and atmosphere. There is a vegan menu! I ate the mushrooms risotto and it was good. Not very authentic. I recommend!

Great local place to us. Authentic is the word to describe it, food can't be faulted, choose the 'unbottled wine' it's solid. Ate there twice in a 4 day break.

Nice place and polite staff in the heart of Ladadika! There is a dedicated page for vegan dishes with four options for mains. While the food was good, the taste was not unique but adapted to attract the wider touristic crowd.

It’s okay - the food was fresh and it was a nice show how the paprika cream was prepared before our eyes. However it was full with tourists and the food was not really authentic in comparison to the rest of Greek restaurants in the city. Gyro was meat bits and not the usual (and better) small thin slices of meat and the dako salad was one big dako with a small bit if tomatoes and a large piece of cheese (see picture) and not really a salad. so okay for tourism but nothing more

Really good food and service. We liked everything we had but most especially the grilled shrimp - it was so good. The restaurant is also bright and airy and located in the Ladadika neighborhood of Thessaloniki, considered the historic district plus great bars and restaurants.

Really excellent food, fantastic salad, delicious steak tartar (with a fried egg!!!), wonderful lamb chops. My only complaint would be that, as always in Greece, they don't seem to understand the idea of starters and mains, so everything arrives at once, and there's no room on the table, and some things get cold....if only they could explain to the kitchen that some things should arrive first, and others later! We were very lucky to get a table - couldn't believe the amount of people eating out that night, and no idea if that's normal on a Saturday, but I imagine reserving a table (here or anywhere nearby) is obviously recommended.

I spent 4 weeks in Thessaloniki and tried many restaurants. This one was the best, by far. Excellent taste with out-of-ordinary combinations, nice plating, generous portions, friendly service. The open kitchen and the cozy decoration was also a plus. We really enjoyed our dinner at Sourtouko. Do go if you have the chance!

Very nice cozy spot in the heart of one of the most vivid districts of Thessaloniki that’s host many bars and restaurants. Nice Greek traditional tastes with a twist.

Everything we order was delicious. The roasted potatoes with pesto is a must, same as the exotic salad, and the stuffed squid. Service was good and fast, and everyone spoke English. Great value !

I was overall satisfied with the service and most of the food, I would like the music to be apparent though, unfortunately it's not audible outside the restaurant where the seating is taking place
