My family and I have been coming here for years. We order a large fish and it was not fresh, the color of the meat was grey. We told the waiter and his answer was maybe the fish ate something wrong!! Unbelievable answer coming from a restaurant that is famous for its fresh fish! Very disappointed!!

We enjoyed our dinner here very much. Everything we tried was really fresh and really tasty (crayfish pasta and fresh fish top). Also served in a very nice way and attention. The desserts were really incredible too! Overall a great experience. Overall, you pay more but you get back in quality so I believe that this place is a MUST if you can easily spend 80 euro per person. Definitely recommended!

It was an excellent experience! Everyone is really polite and smiling. The place is really nicely decorated-our table on the top floor had a very nice view! The food was real! It was simple, ultra tasty and elegant! All the dishes were properly cooked and were sooo deeply tasty! The sweets at the end were amazing. The wine list is nice and not so expensive. The small plates weren’t that expensive as well. Fresh fish were really expensive. But overall it was worth it!

The food is good, the service is average and the portions are very small. Given the price point of the menu, the end result is disappointing. If you still want to try it, I would recommend avoiding any starters and salads and getting the grilled fish which is potentially the only value for money item in the whole menu. It’s gotten a lot more expensive during the last couple of years without improving the quality, while the portions got noticeably smaller.

The place is stunning! Love the location, love the design, love the service! But, i had trouble, as a tourist, with understanding the menu and some of the dishes were just names without the necessary description for people who want to know what they're ordering. I did not have a great experience with the covid rules there, since they were more strict than other places which was kind of annoying. However, the food was delicious and my visit was definitely worth it! I liked the grilled octopus and the squid. Their white wine collection is nice and I enjoyed my choice of bottle very much. And the dessert I really liked was the strawberry tarte, which tasted amazing! The pricing isn't cheap. Would recommend 7/10

It’s one of the best restaurants to enjoy seafood. Local fish, traditional flavors, nice environment and friendly service. There is room for improvement but we were mostly satisfied with our dinner. I would definitely recommend their taramosalata, piperosalata, fried squid and grilled crayfish. Dish that would not recommend: scallops (undercooked). Dessert was kind of a disappointment, menu has 6 choices but 3 were not available. Long list of wine labels, including some bottles which are not easy to source. Very reasonable prices.

We loved this restaurant reputedly the best seafood place in Thessaloniki. We had carpaccio of seabass, grilled clams and taramasalata salata as appetizers, spaghetti with clams as follow up and finished with grilled seabream and a wonderful steamed sole with horta.

Absolutely recommended! Everything we tried was fantastic, fresh and flavoursome. Can’t really tell what we liked best, as all dishes were literally fab 🤩 All the waiters were very, very kind and helpful. There is a long wine list, too. The atmosphere, environment and deco are elegant, yet cozy. Congrats to the chef and his team.

All seafood was fresh and good. The grilled scallops were especially delicious, and the white wine sauce in shrimp pasta was delicious, too. The pasta and risotto were so huge for two people to eat so they were able to pack it up. It is a bit pricey, so it would be good to visit on a special day.

Great fish restaurant in Salonica. We had a great charcoal grilled John Dory, expertly cleaned and served. All appetizers were tasty and expertly prepared. Parking nearby was OK for a very busy Sunday lunchtime. The service was excellent and the staff very clean and polite. Prices were very reasonable for the experience. The wine list was extensive and adequate. All in all I blindly recommend it.

It was the best calamari I've had in a while and the rest of the sea food and salads were among the most competitive dishes I've tried. The atmosphere is very good. Before you go you should know you will have to pay for the quality you are getting. The only thing I did not like but I dismissed was the way the reception eye-checked my attire. I like to dress very casually despite the size of my wallet.

A very well prepared array of fresh fish and seafood. The place is done up smartly but has a casual and comfortable atmosphere. All 7 of our group agreed that their taramasalata is the best we've ever had. A must try! Other favourites included the lobster salad, the fried red mullets and the steamed grouper (which came in a seriously delicious sauce).

Probably the best place for seafood in Thessaloniki. Booked a table via phone call a day beforehand. Got there Saturday night (it gets crowded). Clean, organized, to the point. This is a restaurant that has a very specific character. It has been in business for ages, and I can see the reason. We chose an indoor table with a clear view of the open kitchen. They operate smoothly. The service was kind and super fast. When it comes to sea food taste and quality, it doesn't get much better than this. We were also positively surprised by the dessert. If I had to find something negative, that would be the high prices (around 60€-80€/person) and the low volume of music that allows conversation from other tables to be heard. This does not compliment the general atmosphere of the place. Would definitely recommend it for a special occasion.

We found the place somewhat overrated as the attempt to seamlessly blend gourmet high-end dining with a more casual style feels somewhat forced. While the menu leans towards dishes like carpaccio and ceviche, we were anticipating a broader representation of traditional dishes to enhance the dining experience.

I am very very choosy when giving a 5-star review to any restaurant. Especially for a fish restaurant, as I fish myself and I am very picky when it comes to fish and shellfish. In this case it is truly a pitty that I can't give 6, 7, 8 stars to this place. The restaurant was suggested to us by a local foodie. He insisted we should not leave Thessaloniki without paying a visit. And how right he was! We tried the white tarama, which was excellent. The seabass carpaccio was divine. We also tried their crawfish tartare: my God, what an array of flavours! the scent of the sea, the sweet meat of the freshest crayfish, virgin olive oil, lemon in its best. The house insisted that we try their grouper. It came no-bones, steamy, soft, in a delicately balanced oil-citrus-fish stock creamy sauce (which we could not let go to waste and dived with their (wonderful) selection of breads. We also tried their sauté shrimp, which was simply poetic. We coupled this with an excellent Greek wine (and this place has a stunning wine selection). And then we topped all this with their "unwound" pistaccio baclava, which watered our mouths with the various levels of crunchiness and wonderful pistaccio cremeux. Wow. This place treats its plates with a no-frills, top-of-the-line fresh material, cooked to perfection. Their service is extremely kind, knowledgeable and lightning fast. And you can catch all the cooking action live, as they keep their kitchen and chef's team of busy bees in plain open sight. It's on the pricey side, but well, well worth it. So, I'm giving you the advice I got: If you are a foodie and like fish, DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT leave Thessaloniki without paying a visit.

Having lived in Thessaloniki for the past 3 years, I have drove past the restaurant multiple times, was always wondering about the place but hesitated to visit due to some false rumours of it being extremely expensive value for money wise.. I assure you this is my number one place to dine!! It has a menu structure definitely made value for money, the food is be on fantastic, simple and tasty, the service is outstanding, the atmosphere is ambient and relaxing, welcoming and warming. Chef Alekos is present and welcoming, with a kind smile for everyone. All I can say is congratulations and thank you for making a difference between Restaurants I have visited around the globe 🙏 Κυρ Αλεκο ευχαριστούμε πολύ, θα μας βλέπετε συχνά!

We sat on the first floor, thus with an excellent sea view. The occasion was a business dinner. The food was excellent and the service was very good but not excellent. While there was a flow in serving dishes the often failed to make sure our glasses of wine were full. Last but not least comment, was that the food shared in the middle we had to share them on our own....they did no offer to serve the the appetizers as they did well with the main course being grilled fish.

Excellent Seafood in Thessaloniki! Probably best seafood in town! Simple cooking based on the ingredients! Fish was perfectly fresh and grilled, greek salad was great though the presentation is a bit old, best tarama i ever had, prefect fries, excellent shrimps orzo, very tasty grilled veggies ... Big wine list, though only with classics, needs some update with natural wines.. Great and fast service ! Good atmosphere! Would have visit again, unfortunately prices are over over expensive!

Excellent restaurant, excellent food with perfect presentation. In seafood, the level of quality is at the top, but what impressed me was the freshness of the salad ingredients. Professional service, but very pleasant to make you feel comfortable. One of the best restaurants I have visited.

One of the best seafood restaurants in Thessaloniki I have been visiting more than 10 years now. Excellent produce . Very nice seasoning. Perfect cooking / grilling of the fish. Service is impeccable. However, when it gets busy and it’s full house the experience is not the same for the money you are paying. My suggestion would be to avoid peak hours for the ultimate seafood journey. Highlights of the menu : taramosalata, raw cuts. For a full meal with alcohol estimate £60-£100 per person

The service (waitors were extremely service minded and well behave .)The chef arrogant ashhole. The food quality you can find better food in a ordinary tavern in Thessaloniki. Too expensive for the quality they serve.

Probably the best seafood restaurant in Northern Greece. Extremely tasty food, very good wines and perfect service. One of the places that make you love and come back to Greece. Greetings from Bulgaria!
