Pros: I am traveling for a year and mostly staying in budget hotels. For my birthday I treated myself on a 5 star hotel and a nice room. Absolutely liked it. staff was nice and professional and the bottle of wine (and some treats) were very appreciated. Cons:Irt is not that I didn't like it but it seems I booked a room including lounge access. I am not really seeing the added value of that.

My favorite hotel that I’ve ever been too. We had such a positive experience in Thessaloniki, and this hotel definitely contributed to our trip. Service was excellent and friendly. The spa pool is maintained with salt which is a much healthier alternative to chlorine. Food is great. We felt that we received more additional services than we anticipated when booking. I’d definitely come back.

A luxurious hotel right on Aristotelous square. You are in the middle of where everything happens. Nice artwork inside. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast on the rooftop with amazing view but if you are staying alone chances are you won't be sitted at the nice tables with the view outside on the balcony. Beware. Don't book the rooms in the back. They are noisy due to the machinery you see in the pictures. Even with the window closed you can still hear the noise. I don't know what the difference in price might be but i would rather stay elsewhere if this is not within your budget. No parking available. You have to pay extra per day in a nearby parking establishment. Free parking in the area on the street is not an option.

What could you possibly write for this hotel in a few words in a review... Everything is great, of course according to what you pay. The atmosphere is great and everything is clean and tidy. Stuff is very friendly and can be found everywhere you could possibly need them. Breakfast is also high quality and with a very nice view of Aristotelous Sq. and the sea... Highly recommended.

Blessed to have Electra Palace as our home for our first ever trip to Thessaloniki. My family and I particularly enjoyed our breakfast at the rooftop bar overlooking the sea. The facilities such as the outdoor swimming pool, spa and gym were excellent as well.

Our stay was limit ok, almost poor. Although location is great and some of the staff are nice, there are a lot of things that just went wrong: -Slow elevators, sometimes up to 10 minutes just to take one elevator. -You can hear all the noise from the street, I mean for the price you pay you can at least have some level of noise isolation. -Everyday the staff ask randomly if we were hotel guest, I mean there are other ways to do this, but staff in general so inquisitive on that, it was very uncomfortable. -Slippery shower, so dangerous, I felt once and my son also felt, I got a mat from the reception but the shower material is so slippery. -Our door knob from the bathroom broke the night we arrived, my wife stayed blocked a couple of minutes, it looked old and broken and no maintenance was done before our arrival. -Breakfast was poor and bad quality, one day scrambled eggs were disgusting, you can tell they were old and they tasted funny, it gave my son diarrhea 1 hour after eating them. Nothing were fresh l, like if you do the breakfast at 5 am and you want to stay fresh the whole service, well.. that’s impossible. -Overall given the price you pay you don’t get the quality you deserve, very upset about our stay

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The rooms are spotless and everything is superbly maintained. It feels like brand new. In terms of friendliness of staff and their commitment, they are on par with any Four Seasons hotel or any other other luxury chain. Alexia from the Guest Services and her colleagues from the front desk have been most helpful with transportation and dinner bookings - and when I had to change my plans on a short notice, they were again most professional. After four nights, I am leaving to discover more of Greece but Electra Palace Thessaloniki has set the highest standards possible. As someone who travels frequently both on business and pleasure, I can instantly recognize superb management and dedicated staff. Many thanks again.

Beautiful place in a beautiful central location. Reception is welcoming and friendly. Staff is kind and considerate. Breakfast was delicious. Vegan friendly. Room are well maintained. A bit expensive but was worth it for the little time I was there.

As always, the staff was exceptional. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was very professional and helpful. If I had to make one complaint, it would be the music noise from Aristotoles Square.

Electra Thessaloniki completely changed the whole experience of Greece, known for its amazing hospitality. We have been guests of Electra Thessaloniki and Electra Athens many times. The staff was extremely rude, to the point you want to punch them. The room was not what we paid for. We were not given the availability to change it. The room smoked like cigarettes. While we enjoy this hotel chain, we will never visit the Thessaloniki one just because of the staff. Really hope this review won’t go unnoticed. I never leave bad reviews but here it is more than deserved.

Our Greek friend Sofia recommended the Electra Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki to us. We received a very warm and nice welcome. The premium room with seaside view and balcony is really great. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace with a wonderful view of the sea. The breakfast buffet is huge and only the finest. The hotel is newly renovated and equipped with high-tech equipment. We will definitely come again. 🤩

The location is just perfect. Our room was extremely loud and a bit cold because the balcony door was not closing properly. Even though we pointed it out, it was not fixed. For this reason 4 stars for rooms. The service of the breakfast area and the reception (esp. help to get a ride to the airport during a taxi strike) was excellent. However the hotel maintains an organized guest relations management, which appears to be more focused on defending the rooms conditions rather than fixing reported problems: in our case after our stay they claimed that there was no malfunction, however they did not say anything about the existing draft, nor about the noise. As a result of this approach, the next guests will have the same problems. For this reason we won’t be visiting any time soon, 3 stars for the service.

This was my second stay at Electra Thessaloniki and both stays have been extremely nice and comfortable. The staff is very attentive to all guest requests, the rooms are spacious and well designed. The location is undoubtedly the best in the city and the views from the room and from the top floor are ones to always remember.

Whether it's a romantic evening under the starlit sky or a relaxing afternoon with friends, the Rooftop Garden's ambiance is simply magical. The sunset views are nothing short of spectacular! Electra Palace's Rooftop Garden is undoubtedly a hidden gem in Thessaloniki, and I can't wait to return for yet another extraordinary experience. If you're looking for an unforgettable stay in this beautiful city, make sure to indulge in the Rooftop Garden's charm and elegance. It's an absolute must-visit!!!

This is where you want to stay in Thessaloniki to feel like you made it. Young people are constantly having their portraits taken wearing their nicest clothes in front of the hotel. You feel like an Ottoman pasha or a Greek revolutionary on the square, although the hotel building is much more recent than that. It feels like you’ve gone back in time 100 or 150 years somehow. The breakfast buffet is really top notch. The fitness room is okay, but the pool is excellent. There’s a great (public) calisthenics park within easy walking distance, and I love that more than a treadmill run, so I won’t complain too much. The room service is done exactly right, and the service in general is wonderful. It is regrettable that Thessaloniki is so obnoxious as a transportation experience. I blame Cassander of Macedon for failing to build wide enough streets for cars. The public bus system is utterly awful and driving in this place is like a form of combat. This isn’t the fault of the hotel, but it is the fault of the Greek government. Dear Greece: driving doesn’t have to be this bad.

Electra Palace lives up to everyone of its five stars and more. We enjoyed our stay immensely thanks to perfection in four main areas - Wonderful, friendly, helpful and professional staff. Clean, comfortable, luxurious room. Location second to none. Fantastic breakfast buffet with a view to die for. Than you Electra Palace, we will be back. If you haven't been there, go soon. It's a real treat.

This was a nice treat. A bit expensive for a triple room. Room was small, but well organized. The maid service was great. Close to all the restaurants and things to do. Next to Aegean sea which is quit nice. I rain a couple of days and it got cool. Breakfast was excellent.

Great hotel. Only strange thing is that have 5 different range of rooms that can be figuire out at once. Need to check on that before you make reservation. Location is great and for it parking is around the corner in under ground garage. No problem at all. Breakfast is great and amazing view from top floor rest. Underground pool is also great with current pump. Spa also great :)

This hotel is gorgeous and the location is fantastic! Electra is based right in the center of the city. My room (premium sea view triple) was comfortable, spacious and cleaned daily. The rooftop garden offered a lovely breakfast with the most delicious cappuccino. They are open for dinner and have a bar as well. I highly recommend it here!

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My experience at the Electra Palace in Thessaloniki was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. The rooms were tastefully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep. The breathtaking views from my room added an extra touch of magic to my stay. The hotel’s amenities were top-notch. The pool area was a tranquil oasis where I could relax and unwind. The fitness center was well-equipped and allowed me to maintain my exercise routine. The on-site restaurant thoughtfully catered for my dietary requirements The location of the hotel was ideal, situated in the heart of Thessaloniki and within walking distance of many attractions and vibrant neighborhoods. The concierge provided excellent recommendations and insider tips, ensuring that I made the most of my time exploring the city. I must commend the entire team at the Electra Palace for their professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction especially Alexia the guest relations manager, who was a joy Every interaction was met with genuine warmth and a willingness to assist. Without a doubt, I highly recommend the Electra Palace for anyone visiting Thessaloniki. It offers a remarkable blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding service. My stay was truly unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return!”

The perfect location for accommodation. The view from the roof is stunning! Nice breakfast buffet. Very helpful staff from the porter.. to the reception.. to the breakfast.. to the cleaning girls in the morning, all professionals! Room's a bit small but very cute, clean, and cozy. Love to visit again, maybe in a sea view this time :)

we had a lovely stay as always but were surprised on arrival to see a 'new' look. Unfortunately for us it was very disappointing. One of the main attractions was the distinctive look of old grandeur and luxury that we liked and came back for. Now for us it looks the same as any other 5 star hotel, ordinary.

Very nice hotel! Stayed for four nights and used the bar, restaurant and spa. The hotel has nice views from the rooms with balcony, an so has the restaurant and bar. Central location and easy to walk to everything you need. Very good spa and restaurant. Used the guest relations of the hotel to organize some details for our visit, and they were very helpful, answering questions quickly, giving tips for things to do, connecting us with the hotel spa, and taking care of the details for us. Thank you Alexia!

Excellent hotel! Very convenient location to all places of interest, especially to the Saint Demetrius Church. Extraordinary view from the breakfast area. I was lucky to see dolphins 🐬 first time in my life from there !

Every member of staff was so friendly and welcoming - even making the effort to know my name after one day. The food in the restaurant is outstanding and the facilities are fantastic. The staff go the extra mile too in lots of ways - I left something behind and they’re helping to have it sent back to me. Had a great time, it’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in!

I’ve stayed in this hotel earlier this month, and I really liked the service. I also loved the location because it’s near everything. I booked my elderly father a room at this hotel. When he arrived, he was informed that he had to park his own car. He found the parking two blocks down in a damp dirty parking garage. According to the staff at the hotel, they no longer provide this service of valet. This place cannot be a five star hotel, and not provide the most basic service.

Staff were excellent. Breakfast was made up of high quality ingredients. Location was superb. Rooms are modern and clean. They have updated technology in rooms. Reception were very informative. My only small complaint was that the gym was small with limited equipment and the bathroom were narrow so I kept bumping into the door. I would definitely go back.

Our room had everything wrong with it ...window wouldn't open on left side , electric socket sparked , shower head wouldn't stay up in position on the bar ,sink plug wouldn't stay down, carpet.. I slipped on all the time on the wooden floor! And the rooms are definitely NOT. SOUNDPROOF..

This review is for their rooftop restaurant. We've been 4-5 times in the past couple of months and loved it. The food is excellent, balanced flavoured and good presentation. On top of this the service is the best in Thessaloniki area.

So Happy I stayed at the Electra in Thessaloniki ( and not ABNB), felt so much like a human being. The newly renovated property was so nice and enjoyable to stay in. The new lobby is very inviting. The front desk and concierge catered to all my needs. I truly enjoyed the newly renovated rooms with real flooring. No more carpet. The linens and pillows were very comfortable. It was so nice to be on the rooftop patio for breakfast during my stay. I'm happy to stay here again. Thank you

We come often to Electra Palace. For unknown reasons at previous check-in, we were upgraded from the early booked front Premium Sea View Room to the 2nd last Executive Side Sea View Room. As the room and balcony are much spacier, on upper floor, more expensive and very nice, it is technically an upgrade and we appreciated it first. However, the side sea view with another building in front was not what we booked, therefore we were quite dissapointed during our entire stay. Otherwise the hotel is very well renovated and the staff is outstanding. Still, we are uncertain if we will book here again, when the booking of a specific room might be altered again via upgrade.

Excellent hotel. Had a great time on holiday the rooms are very comfortable. It is necessary to make sure to choose a room facing the boulevard or for the view of the square. The staff were very professional and we were given excellent service. Recommends

Today was the perfect day for coffee overlooking the city of Thessaloniki, and most especially the beautiful view of the sun shimmering off the water. The Electra Palace Hotel is definitely the best location with one of the best views in the city, and after its renovation, the glass railing allows for an unobstructed view, of the city below and the sea. Our server was very sweet, very helpful and very polite. I only wish I had gotten her name! Though to be honest, I have never had a bad experience at the hotel, everyone is always so kind.

Beautiful rooftop location for drinks and to capture a wonderful view of the city and the sea. Excellent service. Relaxing atmosphere. Small pool available if you want to take a dip. Comfortable seating. Likely popular with tourists.

From the moment of check-in until the time of departure, the people at the Electra Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki were welcoming, polite, professional and, most of all, friendly. Their attitude towards their guests made us feel special at all times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back to this hotel whenever we come back to Thessaloniki.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of the city. The newly renovated rooms have a modern feel and the staff is extremely professional and friendly. The highlight is the fabulous view from the roof garden. However, it can get busy during events like seminars, which may not suit those seeking a quieter environment.

An outstanding hotel in the heart of Thessaloniki! We stayed here for only 1 night and the views from the room were incredible, the quality of the room outstanding and the breakfast delicious. The hotel is well located, the wifi is very good and the staff incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.

  • 5/5 Tas M. 1 year ago on Google
The design and overall aesthetic of the hotel, grouped with the existing architecture, location, impressive breakfast and view on the rooftop terrace, and the very nice staff, really helped make my stay in Thessaloniki shine. The attention to detail was very much appreciated.

  • 4/5 Erricos C. P. 1 year ago on Google
Our stay was excellent and the hotel was exactly what we were looking for! The only minor issue (because this was primarily a business trip) was the slow response of the elevators which are shared between the visitors and the hotel personnel. The views and the food on the 7th floor are something that everyone visiting Thessaloniki must experience, there's no picture that would do justice instead of the real thing! We look forward to be back!

Excellent location for virtually everything in Thessaloniki. Rooms are neat, tidy and very well kept. View from my balcony overlooking Aristotle square and the Mediterranean is quite simply amazing. Roof garden restaurant serves very good food and excellent breakfast. Friendly and courteous staff with good local tips. Small gym with small indoor/outdoor pools and spa, catered for throughout by excellent staff. The view from the roof garden is a selling point in itself for an evening drink.

Wonderful hotel. Comfortable rooms and beds, lovely decor. The staff is excellent; the front desk, the concierge, the restaurant staff, and the cleaners, all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was perfect, our lunch delicious, and the views from the rooftop dining area are beautiful. The location is central and within walking distance to most areas you'd want to visit.

Wow amazing,,i try again visit this hotel, One of the greatest hotels in the area. On a very popular road with many restaurants and cafes nearby to visit, right on the edge of the beach. Close to the central of town. Rooms clean and carefully monitored. Breakfast was very good too. Definitely recommended, and with the prices very reasonable for what they offer. ⠀

Great hotel right in the centre of everything. Staff is awesome and the breakfast is very good. Try to stay in a room with a view and you won’t be disappointed. The rain shower is superb😁. Will definitely stay here again and no hesitation to recommend this hotel.

  • 3/5 Evgenia K. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is good, most of all the breakfast and the service in the restaurant in general. We have been there for welcome drink at night, and it was very nice. The bed is comfortable, and the hotel has the best location. But the spa is so disappointing! As it was not a part of the hotel at all, starting with the service. A lot of workers making groups and talking to each other. The door to the corridor is open. Sauna is literally cold, very very cold. So don't count with Spa if you book there. It was a waste of time for us unfortunately. And it is a pity, as we counted with it when me made a booking.
