Tourist and owner,pay attention. This establishment is a cheap hotel in a central area,yes. The bathroom and shower is shared. No parking facilities. I gave 1 star for the simple reason that all though for the money we paid it's an ok accomodation,it does not make it acceptable that in 2021 a hotel in the center of Thessaloniki has insects and roaches. Roaches in 2021. Despicable. The toilets look very bad,and the shower also looks poorly maintained. Photos added here within the review section and hotel main google page. Again i'm not taking into consideration the old furniture,but simply the fact that a person cannot accept to pay for such a bad service. I can only imagine the bacteria "dancing around the camp fire" in the shower.

A bit weird place buf convenient. They restore the entrance but the rooms smells cigarettes and I hope they will restore the rooms soon. In general the location is amazing.

Hotel Kastoria is a perfect location to explore the city. Close to the sea front and the town centre. Everything on the doorstep. The x1 or n1 bus to the airport can be caught , quite literally, around the corner. Reception team were all knowledgeable and helpful. Manned 24 hours. TV and Aircon in rooms which are basic but clean. The only thing that annoyed me was other guests not paying attention to the 'please be quiet' signs and I had someone trying to get into my room, unsuccessfully, one night. I will return to this hotel again.

A fine hotel for the price, great location. Staff is very nice and helpful, even let us print our boarding cards in the reception. It is quite loud, guests coming back at 3am and staff starting cleaning at 8am on a Sunday - earplugs may come handy.

Simple but location is good on the gnatia road front of hotel have coffee shop behind have supermarket and not far from center tsimiski

Excellent value for money, very helpful and friendly staff, had everything that I needed (towels, shampoo, wi-fi, fridge, air con, glasses, slippers), added plus the baggage storage after checking out. The hotel is located on Egnatia Street, there are bus stops 1 min away that can take you everywhere (including the airport, bus 01X), and it is also above the Valaoritou area (literally seconds away) where most of the cool bars & clubs of the city are located nowadays. You've got any shop that you might need just moments away from the hotel (i.e. bakery, breakfast place, convenience store, cafes, fast food take-aways etc.) and it is just a few mins walk away from a lot of the main spots of the city (Aristotelous, Agias Sophias, Tsimiski, port, seaside, museums, Agora Modiano, Ladadika, Roman Agora, Louloudadika, Plateia Athonos, Kapani market and so on). I should point out that the hotel is not suitable for people with access needs and people that struggle with climbing stairs, as the main staircase that leads to the reception is quite steep. The hotel is also not suitable for morons who pay Ryanair prices and expect Singapore Airlines facilities! The place is absolutely fine, it is not luxurious, it offers everything that you need for a short stay. People who expect big plasma TVs, Persian carpets, marble sinks, American-style two-door fridges, designer furniture/decoration etc. when they pay budget prices, as well as people who visit Thessaloniki and spend more than sleep/rest time in a hotel room, are probably in the wrong place - Thessaloniki is such a vibrant city that you should spend as much time as possible exploring the city and enjoying its lifestyle. So instead of slaughtering a small independent hotel with negative reviews, book a room at Makedonia Palace and pay accordingly.

The location was good and the people at reception friendly. The whole building is old and very , very basic. Room 223 had a stale smell of cigarettes smell. Shockingly there was someone smoking a cigarette at reception with the permission of the person there as if it was legal and there was nothing going on. If you don't enjoy the smell of smoke, stay away. Pay a bit more and stay healthy!

Nice hotel to stay for 1 or 2 days. The reception desk will help you whenever you talk to them. The bed is comfortable and clean. The bathroom is smaller and not enough space to turn around. And keep in mind, there isn't an elevator so you have to go up with your heavy luggage using steep stairs.

The hotel Has an exellent location in the centrę, next to the bus stop(easy Access from the airport 24h), bars, bakeries, shops. It definitelely Has its own special atmosphere. There was everthing we needed in the room although IT needs się renovation IT is clean.

We enjoyed our 6-nights stay a lot, everything in the room was working perfectly and the location was great! Negatives are the unstable wi-fi and poor sound isolation.

I always stay here when I am in town. The price / performance is right. Clean rooms and very quiet. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Had a good time! Well priced, awesome location and generally clean. Just a bit noisy sometimes, so maybe bring earplugs. But you're in one of the biggest cities of the country soooo just adapt! Would stay here again.

I had a private bathroom but the cleanliness could be better. If the window is not kept open you'll notice the smell. Noise from other guests can also be an issue. It's cheap though, in a busy area and right at the airport bus stop.

Sweet hotel! I made a mistake with the reservation and they corrected it with no extra charge! The hotel is in a very good location! A few streets down and you can find everything! ❤ Loved our stay (except the old guy at reception who was pressuring us with the masks 🎭 😂😂)

It is allowed to smoke in the rooms! Be aware that the whole place smells like sigarettes. If you have a room on the street-side know that there is no sound isolation. Hygiene was terrible, hair, grease and other weird stuff on the floors and the mattress. Staff was not helpful at all. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Good Central location and easy to get to. It was a budget hotel for a few nights stay so nothing mind blowing. They got our room wrong, we paid for a double bed but got 2 singles. When told them they said they would change us but never did

Great value for the price. Clean, large and comfortable rooms with towels and bedding. The common bathroom areas, although old, are in excellent condition. Very kind reception staff.

Very good for not expensive price , what I don't like that the tolite is not in the room, but he told me that there are roomes with a toalit inside , in general the room very clean .you can reach the restaurants and the coffee shops and the store very near from the hotel, the see not far also .
