Luxembourg is a nice small city hotel in the heart of Thessaloniki, next to Aristotelous Square. What I liked: The staff was very kind and the room was very clean. Always had warm water and the internet connection was excellent. The breakfast was nice as well. I liked the simplicity of the decoration, it was very pleasant. What I did not like: The TV on the wall was at least 20 years old, small and bad quality. They need new TVs in the rooms. There was no closet in the room, just an open space area with hungers. I had sunlight waking me up early every morning because the curtains were not enough to block the light. Last but not least. I had to leave a day earlier. I am a professional on a business trip, these things happen. They charged me for the day I booked but didn't stay. I find this very unprofessional, and not very smart either... It's better to lose a bit of money and have me come back every month, isn't it? Basically, for the extra day they charged me, they lost me and my colleagues as clients for years to come. Maybe next time, they should consider their decisions in a different way. Anyway, that is my personal opinion and the only reason why I will not go back. Other than that, it was a nice hotel.

We had a family room. It was big enough for parents with two children (1 and 5 years old) and clean. Breakfast was great and child friendly. Lady at the breakfast buffet was very nice and helpful! Would deff come back!

Very friendly, nice and helpful staffs. It is what you expect from 3* hotels. Good value which includes breakfast. Breakfast was disappointing. If you booking a room for 3 people be prepared the person on the sofa bed won’t be able to sleep because of the squeaky bed. We had to put the mattress on the floor to be able to sleep. I won’t recommend it if you are a light sleeper. The hotel is next to Serbian and Russian embassy and they had round the clock 4 security officers who wouldn’t stop talking. They kept changing shifts (who were riding motorcycles) every few hours. I had 3 sleepless nights. The location is perfect as it is near the port as well as the city Center.

We are very happy with our stay in our suite. The location is very convenient to visit all sites in the city - and it is on the waterfront. The staff are wonderful. We will stay here when back in Thessaloniki. Some of the reviews we read prior to coming were somewhat negative. We found no reason for these. It is a great quaint hotel.

The best location if you're guest of Thessaloniki, there is 24/7 parking very close to the hotel. The staff is friendly. Close to Tsimiski street and the pedestrian area. The room was big enough for two adults and a baby. There's also a good breakfast.

We loved our 4 day stay in a double room 303 on third floor! Very very central (yet on a quite calm street), near Aristoteles square and sea promenade. Super friendly staff and they were kind enough to have us leave some big luggage for a few extra days when we visited Halkidiki region. Room was small but just perfectly equipped for our needs (not too much stuff). Everything clean and bathroom nice and good ventilated although of the smaller size type. AC worked perfectly! Small "French" balcony to enjoy a small view of the sea. Area with some buzz but we didn't mind as it is in the heart of the city! Windows were good noise cancelling and I always have earplugs when travelling. Breakfast was good, some salty and some sweet! Overall good value for the money and would recommend it for eveyone!

Ideally located in Central Thessalonika. The Hotel has a touch of a French feel to it. Clean rooms, good service, and helpful and friendly staff. I have used it on a number of occasions now, and I have always been satisfied with this choice for accommodation.

Lovely small hotel that is brilliantly located close to everything, the sea, the port, Eleftheria Square, the markets, restaurants, bars and so on. It is a lively, busy area but the hotel is quiet. The rooms have no amenities except a small fridge, a safe and a hairdryer but they are clean and comfortable with an excellent shower. The breakfast room is small, clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet is a more than the usual continental spread. The staff are charming and helpful so overall this is outstanding value for money.

Great value for the money. Perfectly located right in the center and by the seaside. Very clean. The breakfast is ok for a 3 star hotel. At night it was about 25 euro for a taxi from the airport. No parking is available around the area.

A very nice hotel in a perfect location. Our room was small but very neat and had a great view. The bathroom is fresh and neat. Windows are soundproof so no noise from the busy streets despite the central location. The staff is very friendly, they set up an early breakfast for us leaving at 4.30 AM, ordered a taxi and offered a wake up call. Good value for money!

A bit dissatisfied as they don't really consider dietary requirements and mix vegetarian and meat products at breakfast. I asked reception to make it clear and label but they refuced. Clearly that would give them more work to do. Breakfast got repetitive need more options for vegetarians as halal not easily available. Stayed for 7 nights first room offered was small. Changed room after the first night. Lots of mosquitoes in the hotel beware! Go prepared!

great location and friendly staff but the hotel should be rated as 2-stars. the google pictures are very misleading. first of all the hotel was so hot, it was impossible for me to sleep. no chance to cool up the room. had to crack the windows but then had all the ac noise from the courtyard. noise is a general problem here. no privacy at all. room doors are simple wooden ones which you have at home in your bedroom etc. you hear everything from the corridor. it was a very unpleasent night.

I want to give the rating for the hotel Room 109 a horror without ventilation and with mosquitoes It was more a basement than a room

I'm really sorry to say that the price doesn't exactly match the quality one would expect.Starting with the cleaning,I found a smoked cigarette on the small balcony we had in our room and ashes all over. The metal bars surrounding it were rusty and peeling at some spots. The hair dryer also was full of dust and I don't know if it has ever been sanitised. Also there was so much dust on the TV control. And I believe that the top shelves of this open space meant to hang our clothes have never been dusted ans cleaned, and at some point when they cleaned our room the placed our pillows over there. Now moving on to the breakfast,it is extremely simple, and was expecting some higher quality.First of all,the only juice available was orange juice, and it was the kind that you get and mix with water and taste nothing like oranges.I asked and they didn't have anything else other than that. The forks and knives seem oily and I've picked some that had food leftovers on them. And now, about the cream pie + scrambled eggs part, first time I tried to get some the tongs not only weren't specific about which one is for which, resulting in both of them being used in both of the eggs and pie,but also were laid plain on the serving table, which doesn't seem sanitary to me.There was a really small variety of foods, and especially if you follow a lactose free or gluten free or vegan diet, your choices are seriously limited. Lastly,as a hotel worker myself,I would love to see some more smiles and enthusiasm at this hotel. The conversations with the staff I had were plain, and I did felt like I was wasting their time. The best one I've talked was the last receptionist when we checked out,who was patient, kind and didn't lose her cool when we had a bit of a confusion with the payment (because we weren't the ones who booked it) and helped us through it.Congratulations to this woman. Otherwise,I got the idea that they weren't really into talking or have any more friendly behaviour towards me. I wouldn't visit this hotel again, unless they did some serious work on their cleaning and their breakfast buffet.

Nice room with a sea view and cute balcony. Breakfast room is pretty tight and the offer is average, but tasty nevertheless. At 3 euros, the Greek coffee is a bit pricy.
