Very bad place. It is on the main road which is very noisy. Beside this windows are very poor and you can not sleep all night.(there are several hotels in the same street with much better conditions) In the bathroom we've found tracks of bloody fingers or something.... Shover was spoiled and it was almost not possible to use it. Sound insulation between rooms - disaster. You can hear what is happening in several neighbor rooms.(I heard vomiting from one of them) From your room you can see the light in hole through joint between door and floor.Sort of people that visit hotel are like on the railway station. Stuff normal. I was very happy when I woke up and leave hotel.

Every room smells of cigarettes and has ants everywhere. We were staying with children and asked to change our room, the staff were not happy. Every room was awful, the staff said “we can’t stop guests from smoking in the room”. They actually have an ashtray in every room so they expect the guests to smoke. My daughter was bitten by the ants and we left within few hours. Lady on the counter was rude. Please don’t stay here unless you don’t mind staying in such low quality accommodation. I don’t want to sound like this, but my girls were crying and I myself was throwing up due to the smell of cigarettes.

One of the worsts experiences of my travelling life, the room was smelling between cheap chlorine and smoke. Broken or burned furniture's, not enough plugs to charge, and a lot of other missing details that makes your life easy when you are away from home. I really wondering hiw this mess got 9.3 rating i suggest to Google to look it up again👎👎👎

Hotel Rex in Thessaloniki is a delightful find! With its cosy rooms, friendly staff, and convenient location, it exudes a positive vibe that makes you feel right at home. A wonderful choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in this beautiful city.

Really nice hotel did not expect it for the price it had to be so good. Beds are comfy , room is cozy, the staff is always with a smile and really keen to help if needed. The area is not the nicest though but if you do anything you need on foot during the day there is no issue and use taxi's back and forth from the hotel after 9:00 pm you should be totally fine. Overall I had a really nice experience.

I loved the room they gave us, it was clean so was the bathroom, nice stuff, nice location near the bus station, about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the center of Thessaloniki. Ask for the rooms in the new part of the hotel, cause they are nice and renovated and total opposite of the rooms in the old part of the hotel. There is the big difference. The 24 hour store-coffee shop is by the hotel, so is the parking too.

Had a double room with balcony on the 6th floor for 40€ (1 night). Pro: - Big rooms - Pet friendly - Quick Check-In Con: - Weak Internet Overall my girlfriend and me enjoyed our 1-night stay. The best thing for us was that our dog was allowed without extra charge.

Great accommodation considering price/benefit... clean and tidy, well located, 5 euros for breakfast, good service... have everything needed for a really good price... It's definitely recommended!

Location is great. It's allowed to smoke in the rooms, so the smell is always bad itself You can't close a bathroom, you can watch someone taking shower through the glass, there's no door to shower at all Breakfast is rather empty.. Air conditioning 👍

Quality related to the price. Almost. Sheets and towels were clean and there was hot water, but assets of hotel room and bathroom were… scanty.

Terrible. Ants all over the floor. Windows that don't work properly. No lock on the bathroom door. See through bathroom door. Smell of cigarettes. Rude staff - they'll accommodate you but make you feel like a burden just because you have children and don't want a room that smells like cigarettes or one where the air con doesn't work. Very disappointing overall. At least it was close to the train station so we could run away easily.

The hotel advertises smoke free rooms not we were not able to accommodate us for it. The smell ruined the entire experience. Also no shower doors and no shower head attachment point on wall.

We stayed there a few nights in September 2019. The room we got still had the smell of the cigarettes. Noisy corridors and bad service. On top, when we cancelled our prepaid breakfast, we got no refund.

For a two star hotel the rooms are great, rivals some 3 or 4 star hotels!

It's ok to stay and have a sleep. People from reception are very helpful, you can leave you baggages

Much better than I expected from the cheapest single room I could find in Thessaloniki. It's located on a big street with many shopping options. The room was nice and really clean. The staff is very nice and helpful.
