Terrible! I forgot my vest in the room 10 mins later i call them to tell them to keep it for me they said its not there! 100000% it was there so they stole it! And they were not sensitive about it or too considerate. Its half star hotel

Great value for money. The hotel provides more than it should. It is nothing fancy, but for what it is, it's great. The front desk staff is excellent. The hotel has a deal with underground parking nearby, which is a great addition. Overall, an excellent choice.

Old hotel that needs an upgrade. Shower is very small and water goes everywhere. Balcony light beams into room but they won’t turn it off till 2 am. Traffic noise. Very dusty curtains. Dirty carpet. It’s location is it’s selling point, very close to Aristotle Square. Forgot to mention the rude night receptionist.

Very helpfull and friendly staff. Location near centre so many possibilities for eating and drinking. Nearby main sight seeing spots. Rooms rather small but very clean. Bathroom also small. But overall good price/quality.

Very clean and cozy hotel in the city centre. It’s the first time my bedsheets smell amazing and very fresh all over the room. Will definitely stay again. The stuff was very helpful and kind.

For a 2 star hotel the only positive is the location and the quality of the bed. The negatives, not worth the price, old building with dangerous balcony, where easily can occur accidents, and the staff unfriendly. Not recommended!

Low quality accommodation, but located in the city center

Very basic hotel, too noisy outside the street! Flushing toilet was not working properly. The location is good 2min walk to Arsitotelous Square plenty of restaurants and shops around. Just ok for one night.

Excellent location and pleasant staff. The hotel is very old and looks like untouched since the 80's, but is very clean. I think that this is the purpose and decor to be untouched as it once was. If you are in different experience you may visit this gem.

Spent 1 night there. The humidity in Thessaloniki was insane, so was the heat wave. This hotel has a ceiling air conditioner from the 80's (as you can see from the photos) which the temperature was controlled by the owner and it was as if it was closed. It just blew air. After complaining, the receptionist sent someone to check if the air conditioner was working properly (we both knew what was really going to happen, nothing, cause it had the same temperature throughout the whole building and it couldn't be changed). We couldn't even sleep cause of the humidity. I went to sleep at 2 in the morning, woke up at 5.30 and had to drive to Athens. (Needless to say that I almost fell asleep a few times while I was driving). In a few words. Great location, LOUSY ROOM, small bathroom. Ps. Next morning, I went to have -a first in a series of coffees as it turned out-, at the Oberon cafe close to Aristotle square and they HAD AIR CONDITIONER ON, IN THEIR BATHROOM at 9 in the morning at a chilly temp. IN THEIR FREAKIN BATHROOM.....

Not great, not terrible. A hotel placed just perfectly in the middle of "price-to-quality" ranking. It's place in the city of Thessaloniki is good enough, close to the Aristotel street, although the hotel's outside environment is not perfect, it may be a bit loud, stinky and somewhat distractive. Not that much so one wound be dissapointed, it's a matter of luck. The personnel is incredibly responsive and well mannered. I recommend this hotel as a place laying nearby the centre of city and well priced relatively to it's major advantages.

No sea view by the room/balcony. Nicely located at the city centre where you can go easily around the city. Moderate to non renovated equipment and furniture. Do not expect great accommodation just the basics in order to spend a night or two as a stop over to another destination. Room passable. Staff moderate to non honest about the information they provide in regards to their hotel’s facilities and specifications. 3 stars with a generous attitude by us. To sum up : great location at the city centre therefore option to go easily everywhere around the city centre. Everything else passable to moderate. Value for money is at good ratio.

Excellent location and staff. Even on cd says my room was warm and the shower was hot. The breakfast was great but I recommend they add something green.

You always rate in comparison to what you expect to find and according to the classification of the hotel. In this case it turned out to be a decent and well priced hotel, with nice view from the upper floors and probably in the best occasion in Thessaloniki to explore the city.

Hotel Amalia is very good place with one of the best position in centre of Thessaloniki. Hotel stuff is very friendly and helpful. I will always be happy to come back again to the hotel Amalia :-)

Clean hotel with normal price and offer breakfast. Central ladadika area with lots of choices for restaurants and bars. Recommended.

A genuine and homely place! I was visiting on a filming project at an international comic book convention and the hotel has all the resources to offer you a nice vacation or a business trip stay. Food is great, the personnel is friendly and helpful!

Good warm reasonably priced hotel near to the square & short taxi trip from train station. Clean & comfortable for 3 persons. Wouldn't mind staying at this hotel again.
