While
not
directly
on
the
pier,
the
hotel
is
located
one
row
on
houses
behind
it,
which
makes
for
easy
access
but
also
less
noise
from
other
holidayers.
Perhaps
the
most
interesting
thing
about
the
hotel
is
how
out
of
time
it
feels.
The
decor
has
a
distinct
mid
century
feel,
but
is
is
immaculately
kept
and
I
didn't
have
any
problems
with
the
facilities.
This
combines
to
make
it
feel
like
you
stepped
through
a
time
warp,
where
flat
panel
TVs
in
your
room
and
smart
card
door
locks
live
happily
side
by
side
with
furniture
that
hasn't
been
made
for
fifty
years.
The
hotel
is
not
particularly
fancy,
but
it
genuinely
is
a
neat
place
to
stay
if
all
you
need
is
a
bed
and
your
breakfast,
which
is
likely
if
you're
coming
to
Thessaloniki,
where
the
outside
is
where
you'll
spend
most
of
your
time.
