Well, I booked at the last moment and the price was low. But it was low for a reason ! Very depressing place. Pay a little more for a lot better. My welcome was lukewarm and I was shown to my dingy, small and hot room. The staff member gave me a mosquito repellent device but barely a smile. The internet connection failed. I showed the desk clerk in my room that I had no reception and she looked at me as if it was my fault. She insisted that everything was fine but said she would look into it. Of course she did not. I was staying one night only so thought it was not worth it to rouse the sluggish staff. I have given it two stars because of the price but really this is little more than a 'flophouse.' I could not wait to leave in the morning !

Internet is very slow in the evenings, rooms are very old, and seems it's falling apart, cleaning in the rooms could be improved a lot. Staff is very friendly, the bathrooms are clean. Sadly not worth the price because it's old and needs some refreshing. Shower head doesn't have a stand to put on

Stayed one night. Secure parking nearby. Room was basic but comfortable, with shower room. Location was fine, not too busy.

I love this hotel. Simple but endearing. Great value. Perfect location in the center of the city, with all major bus lines a short walk away. My go-to hotel every time I'm in Thessaloniki.

It was a perfect experience x price. Super close to everything (touristic places, markets, buses), the room Was a kind of old and the double bed was small, but as per price, it was wonderful.

Friendly staff, patiently checked me in though I arrived past midnight. The room was clean and comfortable, but the wash basin was rather small and the air conditioner made a little noise. Breakfast was okay for 5 euros. It is your typical continental hotel breakfast - eggs, bacon, bread, etc.

Pros: City center hotel Pleasant staff Cons: Persistent smell of cigars Old furniture and electronics (air con) Inefficient ventilation especially in bathroom

A basic hotel at a good price, central location, decent breakfast, comfortable beds & the stay was great because of the very helpful & friendly staff :)

This place was really nice. Felt much more secure than every other hotel that we stayed in in Greece which may just be because of the city itself. The breakfast was cheap and cheerful but with a wide variety. The room was clean and tidy and had what we needed. Glad we didn't drive or park in the city. It's a good base to get to places from. And also good value.

Good enough for short term stays. You can choose from a few meals for breakfast, nothing special, but you're not leaving hungry. We used this hotel for one night on our trip to Athens.

Budget hotel, very good value. Rough around the edges but very clean. Very close to supermarket and places to eat, a few minutes from the promenade in a taxi which are cheap too.

It's ok. Low cost and mediocre at best quality as you'd expect. You wont be spending much time in the room anyway considering what Thessaloniki has to offer

Basic hotel and rooms a bit tired....but rooms were clean, bed comfortable, the aircon worked fine as did the shower with hot water and staff friendly. Good location for city centre and main attractions in Thessalonika. One big negative....if you are arriving by car it is very difficult to find a parking spot....

Pella Hotel is a great hotel in the center of Thessaloniki for people looking to travel on a budget. Everything is really basic, so please keep that in mind, but given the price that's not much of a surprise. The service is great, and they will help you with whatever they can.

Located very central on one of the main streets of Thessaloniki. Everything in the city can be reached quite easily. The staff at the 24h-reception is friendly, I could take my room even earlier than booked. The rooms are clean but you see they are not the newest ones and a bit narrow (especially the bathroom). In general, I would recommend this hotel for short city trips.

Don't get a room in the upper floor because is too hot! My room was very small, air conditioning not properly working. Not enthusiastic accommodation. Only good for price and location, close center and area of night life

You get what you pay , for a two stars hotel. I wouldn’t reccomend for more than 2 nights, location is really good for all main activities and a lot of nice places to eat nearby

Small room with old but nice furniture. The bathroom was renovated and sparkly clean. Clean bed sheets not so comfortable matress but clean. Towels clean but very tough on skin. Quiet, perfect location, value for money.

Unpretentious hotel, very simple room, with the essentials (like AC). The people working there are really nice.
