😠 Very sad that you (woman) were rude to my daughter in your shop today. Why be rude? Is this what you want people to remember when experiencing a visit to beautiful Thessaloniki? Your bougatsa may be good but we will never recommend you... People often mention bougatsa, Thessaloniki, good, Bougatsa,

Friendly staff. Delicious vegan spinach bougatsa. Other vegan options available (i.e leek or potato pie).

Close to where I was staying. Came for breakfast and had the beef bougatsa. Flaky pastry, savoury beef mince, an intoxicating smell...

Μπουγάτσα (pronounced bouyatsa), was and still is a favourite snack in Thessaloniki. It's a sort of dough pastry pie, what we Greeks call 'pita' and it's a delicious, filling food, that can easily replace a meal. Bouyatsa comes with various fillings. Most common is with feta cheese. Other tastes are minced meat, spinach and cream. The price for a portion is 2.5 to 3 euros. The shop in question is the best of its kind in Thessaloniki. Located at the edge of the central market, it makes for an interesting place to enjoy a typical greek food. Do as the Greeks and go in the morning for breakfast, accompanied with cacao milk, orange juice or Frappe coffee. They also sell their mpouyatsas frozen to be prepared at home.

Outstanding bougatsa served up fresh, warm and delicious! There’s a constant line of takeout and eat-in, so food is always fresh. They specialize in bougatsa, so this is not what you find at every bakery in the city - this is a step above. Espresso was solid, making for a nice simple breakfast. Friendly servers (owners?) who spoke English as well. Definitely worth a stop!

Unexpectedly came across this Bougatsa place and it’s so yummy! 💯 Flaky philo pastry and custard filling. Served hot with sugar and cinnamon on top 😋 goes well with frappe. Happy to pass by and discover this place.

Tried the cream bougatsa. Tasted good but I think shortening or oil or some other solid fat is used as it left a slight greasy waxy feel in the mouth.

The greatest Bougatsa in the Thessaloniki by far! Go for the custard cream Bougatsa or choose half and half and combine with any other flavours that are available (cheese, mince meat, spinach and more). There's also a vast variety of pitas and other pastries. Great place to start your day, with inside and outside seating area and helpful staff! You won't regret trying it.

Wonderful flaky bougatsa, filled with custard just the right amount. Update: I also tried savory bougatsa with spinach, feta and dill and one with minced meat. Both are very crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The taste is clean and you can really tell what's in them. 11/10

In the city center, by the old market, try one of the best "bougatsa" that you can find.

Bougatsa made by the gods. Try also the new version of bougatsa with forests fruits in it. Magnificent

I won't name names but this is a grade above other bougatsa places in Saloniki. The classic version is simply creamier and better balanced with the phylo dough. Best I've had, and only 2 euros for a delicious snack
