I stayed at this beautiful hotel for a 1 month stay. This was my home away from home, the staff were so attentive and friendly I could not have asked for a better experience at a hotel. The best staff I have ever come across. The pool is next level & the food is superb. My hotel room had a garden overlooking the pool - how glorious. Thank you

A stay of 3 nights early March, for business trip: The room was very clean and nice upon arrival, shower and bathtub, both worked well. Complementary water, but the minibar was empty, but you can always order room service or fill the fridge yourself. The WiFi connection was strong and good speed. In terms of the room, it was generally in good condition some furniture a little worn, but not bad. The thing that bothered me in the room was the TV, the size and functionality was fine, but there were only Greek channels, no international ones, not even CNN or BBC News. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fine. I paid 120 euro per night, booked last minute. I had an early flight and had to leave the hotel at 4am, when I informed the staff the night before they kindly asked me whether I wanted a breakfast bag to take with me and prepared my invoice in advance. In the morning they ordered a cab, which took less than 5min to arrive. Overall very happy with my stay except for the lack of international/news channels... A must especially in times like these.

Mixed experience, mostly because of some details that shouldn't appear in a 5 star hotel: + Great room decoration and amenities, mattress although a bit hard for me still very comfortable. We were upgraded to a pool view room, which was nice. + All personnel were very kind, good at their jobs and with smiles. I would distinguish the porter, the parking security personnel and one of the pool waitresses. + Extremely large pool with big umbrellas and comfortable sunbeds. - The corridor outside our room (2nd floor) was extremely hot like a sauna. They said it was because of the sun setting from that side but it didn't feel like a/c was working there. - Breakfast had too many sweet choices and fewer savory ones - In the spa, half of the equipment in the indoor pool and the jacuzzi in the men's dressing room didn't work

Used to be perfect (especially while under KEMPINSKI flag and supervision)...in chronic decline also because of the cheap redecoration that made disappear the design furniture (with only remnant an EAMS chair forgotten next to the reception desk)...needs some redoing in rooms too (sagging sliding bathroom doors making WC privacy open to debate)... air-conditioning in common premises unavailable with more than 40 degrees outside...Soviet era patience necessary for their "fabulous" breakfast served in their tiny and noisy "gastronomical" restaurant without any placement service, desperate sweating waiters running up and down and crowded customers rubbing with each other ungracefully. The relevant spectacular space for breakfast remains closed for renovation (while the summer holiday period on 1st August is in full swing)...Heroic staff still good enough despite adverse conditions. Best of them: courageous STELIOS presiding over the remnants of the breakfast ceremonies with hard to find elsewhere courtesy, legendary cordiality and biblical endurance... swimming pool always gorgeous but the 50 posts for beds have to be booked days before even if you are a resident (the hotel being open to external swimmers too...) ... They almost insisted that there was no place for us :-(. Don't count on the reception to rent U a car even if it takes less than 10 minutes when U do it on your own...All in all, a 3.5 star hotel, charging 4 star prices while insisting unreasonably they are still worth the 5 stars of the long by gone era of their past glory.

Nice hotel but certainly needs a good renovation. Also, after using the outdoor pool our legs were blue (due to the color used to paint the pool I guess).

Had the most amazing stay at Hotel Nikopolis. From booking the hotel until check out, the staff were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Upon booking I asked how I could make the stay a bit special for a birthday and they suggested a cake made from the chef on the day delivered to the room, which was the most delicious cake ever! When we arrived we received a free upgrade for a pool facing room which we loved as having a balcony to sit on in the evening facing the pool was really relaxing. The staff throughout the hotel were so friendly, kind and professional. The breakfast has a good range of food, the massage at the spa was really good and firm and the pool was perfect - not too busy (beginning of July) and the size of it was a plus. The gym has a good range of equipment, probably one of the best abroad hotel gym I have used. The Dome restaurant serve really delicious food and surprisingly at a very good and affordable price. Wish we had more days to eat there. Despite the hotel being close to the airport, you cannot hear a single plane or any outside noise at all. It’s about a 12 minute drive from the city centre and a 5 minute walk away from other nearby shops and restaurants. Would definitely come back and also highly recommend! I Book the suite ..didnt want to write a bad review as most of the staff are quite nice but enough is enough Cockroaches in the room , dog poo in the hall way, green pool for the entire time i stay there . Changing bed sheets when they feel like every 2 or 3 days unless you complain, cleaning the room without any form of standards . breakfast by far the worse in Thessaloniki,, Tonight I order the lam for dinner .. huge hair was hanging of it .. told the staff. which was surprised to see the hair hanging from the meat he call the manager .. Which he say wasn't a hair.. .. .So i had enough and I write the review

Warm room, but the enterier has accumulated so much dust which is not ideal. Good breakfast buffet. Stuff is top notch.

I wonder why this hotel is rated so high. Probably if you are a guest who booked a room, they "need" to be friendly, but if you are an external visitor, the reception is not even a 1star worth. They are not customer oriented moreover unfriendly and should be changed with newer friendlier team. Certainly I won't recommend this hotel to any of my network anymore. Such a disappointment.

THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM. When we arrived today, from Switzerland, we had a reservation for 2 nights. At our arrival, we were surprised to feel that the hotel was really empty, the clients before us looks so upset, and quickly we understood why. After taking all our infos and informing us that we were upgraded, (ok cool) they told us that the swimming pool unfortunately was out of function. We are the 4th of august, it’s 37 degrees outside, tbe only reason we took thin hotel was the swiming pool. Obviously, we weren’t staying in a place where we cannot bath, as we had a 6 yo child with us, and my wife with a broken knee that could only enjoy swimming pools. Also, the swimming pool was really green, they told us it was out of function since this morning, and of course it’s impossible to check it, but what we saw was a swimming pool out of function for way more that 1 day. We politely asked for a cancelling free of charges, but they declined. We also called booking to explain the situation and they tried to call them also and they had the same answer. It costed us 650 euros for nothing. To me, this hotel is A SCAM. Nothing else. They know exactly what they are doing.

I visited the pool in July 2023.I am a local resident and decided to treat myself to a five star experience. I don't mind the 25€ entrance fe, first of all when I ordered a coffee they didn't even bother to bring me a glass of water in 38 degree weather. The sunbeds available had trash on the tables and around which I had to ask to be removed. The staff was inexperienced and seemed lost. While visiting the wc I passed by a pool supervisor who just looked the part. All in all it was not a pool I would recommend especially in a 5 star hotel. I have a lot if experience in F&B management and I have to say something is very wrong .

I have been a customer for over 15 years. One of the best hotels in Thessaloniki Polite and professional. The stuff is always welcoming . Clean rooms and great spa and pool. A great kitchen and room service . A 10/10 and a great large breakfast

Great hotel with a very large pool and near to Thessaloniki. We stayed here a couple of days before heading to Halkidiki. We had a great time and the staff were very helpful. The meals we had in Domes Restaurant were outstanding.

At short notice, the hotel accommodated a large number of customers from a cancelled flight to Rhodes. The staff were patient and courteous. The food was excellent. A great end to a stressful day.

Clean and really good service Room didn't have plugs near the bed and from the other two only one was working.

No investments in hotel facilities, old furniture, No cleaning of hotel airconditioning filters, room cleaning every other days, abnormal open-hours program of pool during summer (10:30-19:00h), quality & diveristy of breakfast is disapointing vs pre-pandemic, no priority for own tourists for pool acces în weekends (they put a fee for outside persons access as extra income). I'm wondering if really is 5* hotel?

The hotel is perfectly located for those that want to stay close to the airport. Rooms are spacious but definitely they don’t provide all the services that a 5 star hotel should provide ( very small old hair dryer no iron board and no mini bar- only water is available ). Hotel staff overall are good with the exception of one gentleman in the reception that is not very friendly and polite I would recommend the hotel for location purposes but not for customer service. Please note that I am a world traveler spending at least some days per month in a hotel

This was really beautiful place. They have awsome kitchen, big swimming pool with bar and nice rooms. Personnel was great too. Thank you very much. Hotel is really close to airport which was pleasant too.

We travel to Greece every year. We always stayed at Nikopolis when we visited Thessaloniki. However never again. We went this past summer and they told us the pool wasn’t operational. We have young kids and it was over 100 degrees outside. They refused to give us our money back. We lost our 300 dollars instead and went to the Hyatt near by. The Hyatt was better in every way possible for the same price. There’s not even a comparison! Don’t waste your money with this type of customer service.
