Authentic Georgian dining experience. This place called Daisi, tucked in a street behind the Roman forum, teleported me back to Tbilisi which I miss dearly. Amazing perfectly spiced Khinkali paid per piece (10 is the minimum!), delicious pkhali, semi sweet house wine. and plenty of friendly locals, presumably Pontic Greeks, celebrating with with dances and Caucasian folk music - what more to wish for? This place is a must visit in Salonica.

Generous and very tasty portions : take grilled meat and a vegetable salad for 2 people. Then special sausages if you're still hungry. Georgian grapes lemonade is gorgeous 😍

If i will tell you that i eat there at list twice a week, it will explain you my 5 stars...? After long time in Thessaloniki i looks for a change from the greek food. I met a Georgian woman that recommended about the taisi and told me that its a good restaurant. Listen! Its not just good. Its the best giorgian restaurant that i ever visit! The cooks are 3 giorgian girl what explain the amazing food. The only thing that i didnt like is the fact that they smoke inside like crazy, and the music is load, again, maybe for me but most of the clients are giorgian so... Anyway, AAA+++++! ❤️

Some of the best Georgian food I have ever eaten

Went here for dinner cause I had a craving for Georgian dish. Ordered khinkali, khachapuri (the round one, not the boat shaped one), and the minced meat crepes. All the food that we ordered was great! Loved the khinkali - they sell them per piece with a minimum of 5pcs, which was great if you're in small group. The khachapuri was hot, cheesy, and homey. I liked the mince meat crepes too, but it was a tad too oily for my preference. All in all, it was a nice place serving great Georgian food. I don't know about the authenticity, since I've never been to Georgia, but the food was delicious for me.

Waiters do not take care if you sit outside for 15 min. They simply see you but do not come, you need to come inside and ask them to take an order. It is written in a menu the price for one hinkali 0.70 but they can prepare only a portion of 10. Why is it so difficult to boil water and put 5? What for is the price written per one? It would be honest to write 7 eu per one portion of 10 and would be indeed wise to offer half portion. It is possible to order the georgian wine only in bottles, no option to have one glass. The truly Georgian food is much more tasty and the waiters are more welcoming.

We tried khinkali and mince pie, which were both exceptional. The portions were really generous and the prices more than affordable. It is located in the heart of the city behind the roman agora. Inside the restaurant there was like a party with traditional music and folklore dancing. Generally a totally worth it experience.
