Nice view over the city and right next to the wall

Very beautiful place with the best view of Thessaloniki!! The coffee was great and the homemade lemonade that I tried was very good!! The stuff was very friendly and helpful!! I highly recommend for everyone who hasn't been there yet!!

Nice, cozy mood. With beautiful magical view of Thessaloniki from end to end plus the port. Friendly (they can speak english), polite stuff, reasonable prices.

The place has the most amazing view!! Worth going there for the view, it's incredible The reason for 4 stars only is the lack of food. It's a shame that they offer drinks only. When buying a coffee or even a smoothie it's always better with some bites on the side.

Good cocktails and a good view 🫵🏻 Could have more food/snacking options, but the fruit salad we had was very tasty and had a variety of fruit!

The place has an ideal location, but just because they have the best spot it doesn’t mean it’s crazy priced. The quality of service and products offered are a match to the price, the staff is nice and helpful, we had drinks and all of them were unique and great. I truly recommend this place if you want a great drink with an amazing view.

Top views of the whole Thessaloniki, great drinks and atmosphere, very kind staff. There was no electricity on my visit so all was beautifully candle-lit. All cocktails were available as they had enough ice well stored. Drinks are served with table water and crisps or a small nut/seeds snack. Clean toilets downstairs, entrance with a code. Walking back down to the seafront felt a bit adventurous through the narrow streets and stairways of the Ano Poli (upper city), but since the electricity was back it was safe and well worth the experience.

The best view in Thessaloniki. Nice staff. Clean place. Lovely semi dry and semi sweet white wine. The prices correspond to the view, unfortunately we didn’t make it to the first row. Hopefully next time.

Absolutely stunning view. Staff were very polite. I only had coffees but they were also very nice!

While the drinks were good, the ‘priority’ list to sit in first line for the view (for what most of us came to do) was unclear. Manager decides who is next to take those tables. There is no clear line or waiting list. I clearly came before certain people, but bcs I was alone, a couple that came after me was given a priority. Not really cool Edit: to be more specific I did ask the manager to be put on that ‘priority’ list and consequently asked for it 2 times. Nonetheless, people who came after me were sitted before me. I do hope that was just an 1 time oversight.

A bit pricey but worth it for magnificent panoramic views. Ordered a signature drink and it was delightful. Everyone enjoyed our little adventure to Castra tonight!

Came here on a Saturday, late afternoon before the sunset, so it was quite full. We were seated in the middle. Ordered smoothies and coffee. Not long after, the staff approached us asking if we wanted to move to a table with better view in the front. We said no, but we appreciated it that they offered the good-view table to us. Would recommend the place! Especially romantic if you're going on a date ☺️

Amazing city view and amazing service

Yesterday a had the privilege to go at this bar, where I was greeted by a friendly staff and a stunning view. The service is impeccable, like the view of the city. I highly recommend this bar, it is in the top of the places worth visiting.

Another great location in Thessaloniki. Next to the ancient walls… gives you a great view of the city and Port. Mostly drinks, very little food.

Would love to have given this place more stars. But the experience at Castra-All Day Terrace Bar, left us with a slightly bitter taste in our mouths. We felt like we were treated like tourists who were not trusted to pay our bill. Why? Because we looked too casual (shorts and t-shirts - it was 30 degrees Celsius today after all!). The young lady who greeted us was not overly friendly. And just after she delivered our drinks to our table she asked us to pay. She said rather abruptly, "you pay now!”. Not like a question. But like a statement. She claimed she was finishing her shift and that we needed to square off our bill before she left for the day. Which would’ve been understandable had she not been standing at the door with all the other bar staff more than half an hour later looking like she was still at work. One star for the nice drinks. One star for the impressive view. And one star for the nice and smiley you man who actually did seem to care about us being there.

Perhaps the best spot to see the panoramic view of Thessaloniki from almost the top of the city. Not too great choice of drinks. No wine. No Greek specials. No retsina, no ouzo. It would be perfect if it had more Greek style.

The view of Mount Olympus is beautiful, even better than the photos! The service is friendly and quick. We stayed for two hrs in the afternoon and it was definitely worth the walk up the hill!

AMAZING views of the city, when it's sunny I think is one of the best places to enjoy your drink or coffee in Thessaloniki ! Very friendly staff ! As a tip before going to the WC ask for the code that unlocks the door...
