Gaetano is an meraviglioso chef. You should defently try carbonara, oven cooked eggplant, and the cannoli! Don't forget to call ahead to make the necessary reservations.

In the hidden underbelly of a really not-great street, lives a little authentic Sicilian kitchen with an Italian owner, a cozy setting, melt-in-the-mouth food, even some original Sicilian sodas and a chef who loves to feed you. Walked in on my birthday without a reservation (seems I wrote to them 25-30hours before on Messenger, but they didn't check it) and still got served coz I was early. I don't recommend going here without a reservation though. Parmegiana Melanzane, melting pappardelle stuffed fresh pasta with ricotta, chestnuts, butter, sage and white wine sauce, an Arancini Soda, a Tiramisu that I polished off way too quickly and a loud ambience with people talking in Greek and Italian that's reminiscent of my days in Italy. A truly Italian experience that one shouldn't miss in Thessaloniki. With surprisingly good prices. Paid €22+ for everything and it was well worth it compared to some of the larger places I've been to!

We loved it! The restaurant looks like it's straight out of a movie as it has been decorated with so much attention to detail. The atmosphere was wonderfully homely, which was also due to our nice waiter, who lovingly answered all of our questions. The food was top notch! I've eaten a lot of good pasta dishes in the past and these are definitely among the best! We had fresh pasta with pistachio pesto and fresh pasta with pepper sauce and salsiccia. The fresh tiramisu we had at the end is also highly recommended!

It's something different on Thessaloniki, but I won't say it's so special. Many choices of pasta but not something you would ask for a second time. The homemade pasta is just ok. Too expensive for such food.

Lot's of interesting italian dishes, good service. Only thing to change, pasta shouldn't be so aldente! 2 minutes further cooking could result top taste!

Services was great. Very friendly waiter, always greatful for the waiters and waitresses who help with the menu. Pasta was a little undercooked but was still good. I had the salmon penne with vodka and rose sauce. The sauce was great. The reasturant is clean and cozy. With outdoor seating available.

I have spent a lot of time in Italy but this restaurant is a poor advertisement for good Italian food. The wine was good but I ordered the pasta carbonara to share with my wife because it had such good reviews and it was mediocre at best. We decided not to bother ordering anything else. And to add insult to injury the dish was advertised as around €8.50 on the menu but the price on the bill was inflated to €12. I did not bother to argue and paid and left deciding to warn other potential customers instead.

The best italian I've had! We had handmade pasta and the recipes were delicious! Also we were really overwhelmed by the menu so we asked the waiter and she kindly recommended what we should have. So we got handmade pappardelle with shrimp, cherry tomatoes and caper and handmade mezzelune (stuffed with mushrooms and cheese) with butter and sage. Everything was delicious and I can't recommend this place enough!

Excellent italian restaurant in the center of Thessaloniki! Visited for lunch with friends and everything, from pasta to dessert, was delicious. The homemade pasta made me travel back to Italy. Their "nocciolamisu", a tiramisu with a twist, was to die for. The staff was really friendly and helpful, explaining all the menu options and special dishes. I would recommend reserving a table, since the restaurant is quite small and there's limited seating inside.

Very delicious authentic Italian food😍 from my understanding you should get a reservation beforehand, but we didn't know that and we randomly went on a Saturday afternoon but we were lucky and were able to sit. Definitely a must for Italian food in Thessaloniki!

The one and only rosticceria di salonicco, no doubt the best Italian spot in town! I've been choosing these amazing people for years, because not even once did they fail to offer us a unique gastro experience. The pesto pistachio will warm your heart in a profound manner and the creamy mozzarella will take you to that little yard in the Italian countryside you once visited. If you bump into the nocciolamisu during your visit, you may consider yourselves lucky! The incredible people running the restaurant will warm your heart with their genuine smiles and care, giving you the sense of home and family. A true gem, food for the body and the soul. Hidden gem in the rotonda area. Do t expect anything fancy, but the food is great. Handmade pasta is available. The pistachio pesto was very good.

A true italian rosticceria in Thessaloniki! I was in Catania some konths ago. The owner is from Catania. He has brought all the style in Greece. Homamade pasta... really nice italian recipes, italian atmosphere, nice prices!!! He is a little bit slow, but he is very funny and the whole experience really worth it! Well done!

After many days of delicious Greek food, I was looking for some Italian carbs (honestly starving for pasta!!). Thus we searched for Italian restaurants in Thessaloniki and here we are! We found this gem in the city center. They serve only few authentic Italian dishes, which is exactly what a good non-local food restaurant should do! We took parmigiana as starter (very nice) and then carborana and margherite (hand-made stuffed pasta) with mortadella and pistachio. Both dishes were amazing and authentic! Gaetano, the owner (a sicilian guy who speaks Greek so fluently!!) and his staff make you to feel home and comfortable!Well done guys!

Great food and friendly service. Normal prices for the quality of the food they serve. Make sure you have a reservation as the place is really small.
