It's a fantastic place when I visited it a few years back , now it's been let down and it is deteriorating, is in need of repairs ,the mayor seems not be interested in the major attraction to his city

Great natural park near Naoussa. Ideal destination for full day tour from Thessaloniki. Plenty of things to do, taverns for lunch, walking etc. Children friendly and safe location.

This is a pure diamond in the woods. Crystal clean water in green oasis with ducks and swans, wooden bridges, small stone church and many small roads to walk and enjoy the nature. A few taverns with traditional dishes and horse ride and the Sunday here will be one of the best family moments.

Spent there a whole day with 4 friends of mine and the location was amazing, there are many restaurants nearby and it is perfect for families. There are also horses and the river that goes through the park, which are amazing. Will definitely visit again!

Fun and family friendly place to visit, surrounded by nature. Here you can find of things to keep you busy; from restaurants, to cafeterias, to horseback riding, even a sports court. Ideal for a daily outing, or a "pit stop" if you happen to be on a road trip.

A must to go place at all. If you are looking for a cool walk during summer or a place for the kids to run, surrounded by little rivers and fresh water.

A beautiful nature reserve with huge trees, a stream with flowing water, many panoramic corners in nature, experiential activities for the whole family including horseback riding, a small train and of course some excellent taverns. Great place to spend some quality time, although very busy on holidays. Warmly recommended!

Maybe the most beautiful place in area o north Greece. Many huge trees, small river with very cold water fish restaurants, coffee shops, basket, volley, fishing even train for little guys.

What an amazing park! It is huge, has a lot of trees and green, a big river that creates small waterfalls and a big lake. The picturesque wooden bridges and the little train that takes you around the park are amazing additions. There is also the small church of St. Nikolaos, which makes it perfect for events like weddings. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby as well as football fields and even some horses for riding. Don't miss it!

Best park in Greece maybe

Three kilometers from the city of Naoussa lies the park of Agios Nikolaos. An earthly paradise in the heart of Imathia. Unique to Greece, the centuries-old plane tree grove impresses the visitor at all times for its splendor and volume. The park today occupies an area of about 30 acres and is of great interest both in terms of aesthetics, functionality, and variety of vegetation.

Good place to relax on a warm day. Plenty of shadow under the trees. Good sports facilities, ie basketball, tennis , volleyball. Cafes and tavernas for food and drinks. Great place for families with kids. Not forgetting its spiritual side with the small Church dedicated to St. Nicholas.

You can fish trouts in the lake for only 4€. As a kid I went there and still remember the moment. Now some 35 years later I brought my daughter and I am sure she will too. The difference is my father sent the trout to the tavern and we ate it (delicious taste). Now we released the trout after catching it, still a park and moments to remember for life.

A small nature paradise, just 3 km from Naousa and 100 km from Thessaloniki. It is a must visit for families with little children, but also for any other age. A peaceful scenery where you can walk, play or have a picnick by the river. Agios Nikolaos is also a starting point for some trekking paths to Vermio mountain.
