Enjoy the lookout of this Kenyan Riftvalley part. Located on the highway, there’s shops for cafe or souvenirs, a few visitors and people taking photos and enjoying the view. The sign on the picture shows the extension of the great rift valley illustrated on a map of Africa.

Great place to view nature. There are a few shops where you can buy drinking water and soft drinks Breakfast is also served in a few local cafe's. Toilets are available in the location, not the 1st class type but very clean and well maintained.

A magical place with an enchanting view... You can stop over and enjoy the great view of the Great Rift Valley at various points along the escarpment road or the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

Beautiful location when the clouds are aligned in 3D. The views are worth the wait as there is always a huge crowd at this location

An incredible view over the East African Rift Valley and a must for any traveler heading to the Masai Mara or also Lakes Nakuru or Elementaita. The two-lane road there is also considered one of the most dangerous in East Africa and is very busy with heavy goods vehicles and other vehicles. So nothing for timid minds.

One of the most well known rift valley around the where the Arabian and Arfican plates rift apart each other. It was breaktaking, obviously very deepth, narrow and superb down when you see it from the viewpoint. Some souvenir shops, local food store and lavatories around the viewpoint area. Recommeded to come earlier or late afternoon to avoid crowded and hot weather.

This is a great viewing stop over along the Mai mahiu B3 trunk road. Arm yourself with a good camera or a smart phone with a good camera to shoot some nice pictures of the landscape below. You will also get a chance to buy some curios from the shops aligned along the viewpoint. In addition to shops, there are also eateries you can take a bite from and lavatories you can relieve yourself from the long journey.

The great rift valley viewpoint as the names sounds it's has a nice viewing point with beautiful scenery, is always perfect in the evenings. The vast lands forming that perfect v-shape with tarmacked roads at the base, patches of vegetation dotting the space, the sun’s rays stretching far and wide and the mountains in the vicinity meeting the foreseeable edges of the land giving the feeling of an abstract painting never quite giving up that still life aspect.

A good viewpoint on the way to Masaimara. The place have a cafe and a curio shop. The price was reasonable. We didn't mind to Stop there for half an hour, have some coffee and some shopping and had some good view.

On our way from Nairobi to Nivasha, we stopped at the Viewpoint for a quick break and were greeted by the view attached. Simply put, an amazing view. The shops had snacks and cold water and soda. Washrooms were available but worth waiting unless absolutely necessary.

Gorgeous views. Didn't care for the souvenir shops nearby (which have toilets available, if needed), though, but you can come here just to enjoy the scenery. It's wonderful.
