Antique and efficient are the words I will use to describe the building. Located at section nine mgoko road, the building offers a series of quality services which includes a lodge with a gym which has modern gym facilities at the top, a hotel which is responsible for the food you will be served while lodging as well as other essential services. There are also other businesses on the ground floor of the building.

It's a neat affordable place to stay in Thika town. There's limited parking space and it's secure. The rooms are quiet and mosquitoes are present but they provide a mosquito net. Beddings are clean and bathroom is very clean. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, the restaurant and pub section were not operating. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food was good and fresh though had to be take away Rooms have the old TV models and WiFi was tricky. Rooms go for Kes 1500/- to 1,800/-. Would be back any day to this place for a quiet night of rest.

Bad experience. I lodged there. The rooms were full of mosquitoes, the bedsheets were old and smelly. The hot showers were not heating. The noise from the bar downstairs was so loud. No value for money boarding with them.

Get the rumba experience when in town, a place for almost mature crowd

5 stars for the location for it's proximity to Thika CBD. The rooms are neat although the styling is "old school" in comparison with newer establishments. The attendants are friendly and welcoming too. The price is reasonable and fair for what you get. They have a restaurant but the food is made on order only.

I ordered for tea and it was fine. This place is like an old gem. It has been there since I was a kid. And it's style is still the same. And there is a church there(they share the same building). So if you are around you can join the church for praise
