Lovely expereince, everything is here. Lots of fruits on sale. If you want the cheap clothes (2nd hand) or the new clothes, you can easily get them here. There is a bank to chnage money of you need to. The place is not crowded and stuffy. There are lovely restaurants there for you to have your choma or ch iken and chips too.

Thika town is an industrial area with good environment, cool climate. one can work and live in Thika Town. There are a lot of public amenities like school, hospitals, hotels , recreational facilities, public parks, public universities such as Mount Kenya University, Thika Training College. There are good infrastructure such as roads, sewer system, electricity, network etc. Tourism is also available in Thika. There are also a lot of shopping centres and malls such as Anunus Mall

Lots of industries lots of people making it a dirty town. Kiambu county officials are dead asleep or in Nairobi visit laikipia county and do some beachmaking. You need to improve bana

Well,so far,the only place I love in thika is Quickmart, yes, its a supermarket, but really they are pocket friendly and their hotdogs, well, they are to die for, very delicious, they have a sitting area within the supermarket that is cosy and has good lighting They also have offers on selected items every week .

It's an amazing town, love it but the Sun's degrees out here it's like you're living in Sahara desert. You'd get used to it though in time

It's all good for living since it's relatively not expensive in terms of living amenities. However, lacks high end hotels and nice uptown spots to eat or visit

Thika town might not be as big as other towns in Kenya but it's a wonderful place to live. Accommodation so affordable and proximity of learning institutions is an awesome blend

  • 5/5 Boniface M. 1 year ago on Google
This is an education hub and institutions like Mount Kenya university have made the town to be ripe for a city status

A great town to be, technically all you may expect in a big town. I wish Java would find its way into the town though

Thika is a cool place to be. There are many classy hotels and restairants. Most of its population is young people due to the high number of institutions of higher learning.

Thika is a town of order, buildings in town are well organized but town exits just don't cut it. We can do better. The newly rehabilitated roundabout makes the town appear organised and ready for more developments. Competition in the restaurants is high but the food served is basic. Nothing unique. Might edit my review so let's see what the future brings

Relatively well planned town. A good place for business. Quite populated and parking space can be a challenge on Sundays.

Latest challenge in town is parking. And the roads aren't well taken care of. But fairly clean. On the upside, business opportunities are plenty and the population is also high. Transport from CBD to many major towns is also available.

The place is wonderful. But be careful with your phone, though this cuts across all towns, but it's a nice place. Many universities and colleges makes it a prime place for entrepreneurs.

  • 5/5 isaiah j. 2 years ago on Google
    The area is generally good

  • 5/5 Fred G. 2 years ago on Google

Thika is small but bustling and thriving. The roads need work... planning could have been better.
