We stopped over to have tea and some snacks on our way to a burial. We entered a small cafe called HOT DISHES. We enjoyed the tea, Samosas, chapo and mandazis. When you those sides please pay a visit. Ensure you are warmly dressed coz we almost froze to death😶‍🌫️

The town is located on the busy thika-gatura road which can take you to either kimandi,mau mau road or ndakaini dam....it has two market days-tuesday and Friday and has two local hotels-royal plate and hot dishes where they make local delicacies eg..mukimo,matoke,ugali na stew and chips na kuku fry....for those who want to wine and dine noxx island hotel has food,drinks,DStv and accomodation...u may also pay a visit to park place pub to enjoy a good drink and watch DStv...

Slightly more developed than the typical rural shopping centre. Convenient shopping for basics. Level 4 hospital and maternity.
