A good hotel. The rooms are plush. There is a small gym. Not well maintained. An open broken window. Centrally located in Thimphu. Poor housekeeping. No mini safe in the room. A huge pillar right in the middle of the room. Makes negotiating around the room, watching TV laborious. During breakfast, one of the waiters had such strong body odor, that I nearly threw up. Waiters in the dining area are poorly trained.

This was an unexpectedly delightful place to stay on our very short business trip to Bhutan. The hospitality was fantastic, food and beverage service excellent. The rooms are well appointed and quirt even if there is a lot if noise in the tower courtyard. The only issue was the doors which were hard to lock, and this was a relatively minor handicap. Highly recommend.

One of the oldest hotels in Thimpu. Its 4 Star. Upkeep is very good. The hotel is inviting and feels relaxed. Location is excellent. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The bar in the hotel is well stocked and appears to be a popular gathering spot. The head barman has been with the hotel for a very long time and he knows almost everyone in Thimpu. He is very friendly and a good conversationalist. The restaurant in the hotel serves excellent food. All staff are friendly and courteous. We had an enjoyable and pleasant two night stay.

Hotel Druk is a lovely Bhutanese style hotel set in beautiful clock tower location. My room was immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed, nice linen and great air conditioning. It was nice to have a balcony with a view, where breakfast was served each morning. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect - I recommend this hotel to anyone - it is convenient and safe for a solo traveller, and I would also return with my family.

First impressions good. Rooms excellent as are the very attentive staff. Food excellent in dining room and room service menu is too good to be true with food from India Bhutan Chinese Thai and continental if you want a taste of home - really, their fish and chips might not be Harry Ramsden's but taste great after two weeks up country. One of the best things about Hotel Druk's central location is that you can easily explore the city on foot. You'll find plenty to see and do right outside your doorstep. In addition to the hotel's great location, the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with everything with everything needed for a pleasant stay. II would highly recommend Hotel Druk to anyone looking for a centrally located, comfortable, and convenient hotel in the heart of Thimphu, the capital city.

Situated in the heart of the city, their rooms are based on colours themes with five different colours, we booked a grey room with balcony m, samtayed their for two nights and had a very comfortable stay, rooms were centrally heated and very cozy, staffs were nice and friendly. All the amenities were good only one thing that I would like to mention that they should provide slippers too except that overall experience was very smooth and comfortable. Their restaurants and Bar was also nice, they had multiple cuisines their.. food was great.

We went for dinner. Amazing place for Indian food. The chef personally gathered our preferences and customized the dishes accordingly. Very courteous staff and cozy arrangement. Surprisingly is bet reasonably priced. Beer was for some 200 bucks for the entire bottle. Try the black dal! Must visit in Thimphu!

When we booked a trip to Bhutan we were warned that the Hotels are not as per gradings of international levels, so when we checked into Hotel Druk Thimphu, we were pleasantly surprised with the professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness in the rooms alongwith the toiletries provided--- rooms are very very nice, excellent staff--- very warm, courteous & each & every one has made a special effort to see that our every request has been met with. Food is superb with reasonably decent vegetarian options. Centrally situated. Has a nice spa, could not have asked for more.

One of the oldest hotel in thimphu city, and very well known to locals coz of their good service and facilities, it is just next to the iconic place called Thimphu clock tower. their service and food is always good. Staff are knowledgable about their facilities and food. Service is always top class. I am not sure about the room facilities and service as I never got chance to stay here, as i am local in this city :)

Plum at the centre of Thimphu's happening district, Druk hotel had very friendly and helpful staff who were there whenever we needed them - be it to refill the drinking water or to take care of any minor issues we faced. The rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. The restaurant staff was happy to guide us when we asked to eat some local cuisine the first night we arrived, and food was very tasty too. The location made it very easy for us to move around and explore some nice places on foot. Highly recommended if you have a stay in Thimphu

There is a land that is as old as the hills, yet as new as a silicon chip. Populated by verdant forests, lush green valleys, sparkling streams and people, who are as hard-working as they are hospitable. A land so enchanting that many have compared it to Shangri-La, the lost paradise. That land is Bhutan, a country which has a great deal to share with the rest of the world.

Yummy lunch. A great selection of Indian, Chinese and Bhutanese food. Donโ€™t miss the Indian food as itโ€™s one of the best in Central Thimphu. Lovely, old world charm hotel.

Best location. Amazng staff. Excellent food. The Druk has everything you need and more for a pleasant stay in the centre of Old Thimphu. If I were returning (and I hope that will be one day soon!,) I would not even think to consider another hotel. When you hit "perfect" just sit back and enjoy.

with a very convenient location in the town center and with a back drop of mountains, Hotel Druk gives a perfect balance between commutability around town and picturesque location. Large spacious rooms . The Staff was very warm and welcoming , ready to assist with any request. They had readily assisted in changing my room to a one with a good view (subject availability off course). I will surely go back and suggest my friends this place.
