Good place to stay if you don't prefer hotels in Trichy or Srirangam. Huge campus with around 750 rooms or so. We stayed in a non-ac room which was really pathetic. No Maintenance or at least proper cleaning was done at this place. The advantage is that it's economical and also has a huge parking lot for cars. Not sure about other room maintenance and ambience. The campus is clean and spacious. The hotel inside the Campus is another disappointment even though the food is average quality and the service is really worse. They need to maintain the place better and they can charge a bit more also which would be acceptable.

First visit, easy to reach, ample car parking space, but went during Pongal holidays, found difficulty in getting rooms. We were told to get the rooms booked by phone max 1 month to minimum 2 weeks for outstation people. Got 11 bed dormitory for just our 5 member family by paying 1100 plus 1100 refundable deposit. Yatri niwas was started with good intention, but sadly no interest in maintaining the property. Electric plug hanging out, switches not working, geyser in few dormitories and in others missing. No drinking water provision in each building. Need to go to the last building for getting water bottle refilled. Walls all cracked and with cobwebs not cleaned. Practically no floor sweeping or mopping. Handrails were covered with dust. Garden can be well kept by removing unwanted weeds. Most importantly request the concerned person to make sure all the beds are bed bugs free. Had a horrific experience sleeping just one night. Please get the cupboard doors and mosquito nets cleaned and holes fixed. Hope my feedback will be taken in good way. Appreciate such a facility was started, but all efforts will be in vain if not maintained properly.

Decent rooms. Budget friendly. Very close to Kollidam river and Srirangam temple. Need better people in Reception/ Check in Desk. Night shift Staff treat us like he is doing charity for us. No manners. Very poor behaviour. He was repeating the same behaviour while we were checking out. Management to investigate and take necessary action

Thr rooms are well maintained, neat and clean. Very Spacious bathroom with hot water geyser facility. There are dormitories also for group yatris. The campus is very calm and secure. There is ample space for parking. Restaurant is there with good quality food at reasonable prices.

Govt running guest house. Non AC rooms cost 500 per day, AC rooms will cost 750 per day. Dormitory will accommodate 11 persons for the cost of 1100 Rs. No online booking available right now. One restaurant and ATM available inside the venue. Enough parking space available.

Overall it's a decent experience, where we booked the room one month back through phone call.On the day we enter the reception, we need to provide the full amount i.e. Rs 750/day along with half a day rent as advance amount.While we return the key they will return back the advance amount.Only cash transaction is done and it's a drawback. While don't expect room service. Overall it's a cost effective for temple tourists.

Outside maintenance is good but internal maintenance is bad. Walls are damaged, fans that won't turn up to speed and drainage is opened. It's like it looks beautiful outside but when you enter inside u can see the damage. Overall low cost & nice place to stay.

Rooms are clean but be ready to face mosquitoes and we will not get hot water in non AC rooms. Food is good in near by canteen with in same premises, huge parking space is available for private vehicles and there is also shuttle bus service is available from yatri nivas to Ranganath Swami temple. Overall this place is good for 1 to 2 days stay.
