Wide variety of flora and fauna.. Over 1000 varieties of roses.. bonsai is quite decent.. budget friendly prices specially fruit plants.. good collection of cactus too.. Unbelievable least cost for fertilizers. Gardening tools and Impressive collection of planters of different shapes and sizes are available. The only minus point is the staffs lacks in knowledge about plants. Don't expect any guidance from the staff there. I suggest every one to carry an umbrella ☂️ at the time of visit.. else you'll be badly tanned. Overall nice place and a must visit for plant lovers

The largest garden in Trivandrum, it's situated around 30-40 acres. It was a good experience to how they maintain the garden. Good collections of indoor,outdoor, vegetable plants, water plants, fruit plants, pots and different types of stones in minimal price. The price starts from ₹6 to ₹50,000. The staffs are very supportive and helpful.

It's a beautiful nursery garden and amazing location in a mountain valley. You can buy variety of plants for reasonable rates. Rose plants can be purchased at a rate of 50 rs. They have a good collection of variety Lotus which attracts me the most. I bought a lot of variety plants at an affordable price. Staff are helpful. Carry an umbrella when you visit because the nursery has a lot of acres to walk. There is no enterance fees. But to visit rose garden/ bonsai garden you have to take ticket. Pros: more parking space available, all types of plants and trees available. Cons: location was a bit difficult to find as there are no sign boards found on roadways. Also Google maps show different locations. First we got to a small nursery which has the same name.

One of the best places to buy saplings and other plants at a very low rate. It was shocking to see such low rates as compared to vendors in the city. A variety of flora can be purchased here. On our last visit, we purchased Lichi (Rambutan N18), Abiu, Guava and many other flowering plants. Coconut saplings are also available here. All these and plant fertilizers, manure, soil etc together comes under INR 3,500. Though I haven't seen any medicinal herbs here, chances are that they are also available. Car parking is available, but driving the car to the place could be a bit difficult since the road to the place from the main road is too narrow. The staff is very friendly as well. They will help you to load the purchased items to your vehicle. You can select the plants of your choice and bring them to the billing area. There is a store for buying pots, fertilizers and even stones as well. A must visit place for all passionate gardeners.

Great place for all your garden related needs , situated in a highly accessible area, only 2 km from the NH. Enough parking space. Usually moderately crowded. You can find plants and trees from Rs 10 to Lakhs. The staffs are very friendly and always ready to help and assist. Reasonable price. Saw a video on you tube and decided to check it out. To be honest, I wasn't expecting such a grand botanical garden. This is one of a kind that I have seen in Trivandrum. Beautifully maintained, it's an ideal place to spend not just shopping for plants and pots, but also just to relax. Situated on a lane on the Balaramapuram- Vizhinjam road, the way to the botanical garden is very narrow. Drive carefully through the narrow road full of winding paths, and a. canal, and you reach the gates of the botanical garden. The drive from the gate to the garden felt surreal. There is a parking lot and from there, you can go looking for the plants, pots, manure and saplings you want. They also have a stone park for all the stones, pebbles, marbles you want for your aquarium, garden or yard. The staff there are very friendly and they'll fetch you a wheel barrow to keep all the plants/saplings, pots you've chosen. There's a lot to see and walk. They have a very good selection of saplings and even bonsai. They also have a section for water plants, with lotuses, water lilies, and many other varieties of water plants. The staff packed the water plants very well for transport. As for the price, it's quite cheap and affordable. They have a vast selection of pots too, from very big ones for trees to wall hanging and aquaponics types available at a discounted price. They have wide varieties of lawn grasses, bamboo and indoor plants too. They also have a cafeteria in case you want to have some refreshments. I personally think the ideal time to visit the place is from 10 am to 5 pm. Carry a hat or an umbrella to protect from the sun or rain and comfortable shoes for walking. We will be returning soon for some more plants and pots. The only negative is the narrow, winding and scary road leading to the botanical garden. Everything else is perfect.

Well maintained private nursery with wide varieties of plants. Great place with a wide selection of stones for landscaping. Workers are extremely helpful and supportive. Cheaper compared to many other places.

Beautiful Nursery gardens and amazing location 👌 location looks like a mountain valley. 20 rs for bonsai garden entry which is worth visiting. I haven't seen anything like that. Most plants are since 70's which is the time of the garden established. You can buy variety of plants for reasonable rates. Staffs are helpful.

One of the best places to buy plants and satisfy your gardening needs. Here you can get all the plants that is available in the country. Also a very good place to spend sometime with family. Their bonsai museum is mind-blowing which you might not see anywhere. Rose garden is also good. A must visit place, really loved it.

Wide variety of plants available.. ceramic, fertiliser, etc. shops are also there inside the garden.. workers will accompany you for helping on purchase and holding .. The road to the garden is not very good now, but it's drivable.. Parking space available inside.. no parking fee. no entrance fee... Toilets are not clean... water is available...

Located a bit far from the city limits. But the botanical garden/nursery has an amazing collection of plants including indoor, fruit, medicinal and vegetables plants . It's spread across 40 acres and all the staffs very courteous and helping. Plant prices are very nominal compared to online nurseries. Definitely worth a visit.

Best place to buy outdoor and indoor plants at wholesale rates. You can come with whole family to this place. Food cafe, bathroom and car parking facilities are available. I spent one whole day here still I was not able to completely see this place. Will go back again to buy some exotic fruit plants.
