Temple is nice, lovely and God is very powerful. But we need to talk here definitely about the worst, chaotic parking and drive towards the temple on weekends and auspicious days. They charge 30-50 rupees downhill for bikes and cars but there's nobody to manage traffic lane or parking area properly. Personally it wasted nearly 1 hour of our time to park vehicle and take it back and move downhill, such poor traffic management. People even started walking on hot road just to surpass traffic and reach temple. One more thing to be mentioned here is drinking water facility, fans etc. - you can't find any when u walk in queue to take Darshan of main deity. Broken waterlines, non working fans will test your patience. Carry enough drinking water when u move into the queue. Monkeys inside temple will definitely entertain you all when you enter temple premises.

Very devotional place located on hill top. It's a place of Murga. The temple also provide fee lunch for devotees. We will get bus to temple from Thiruthani city. It's easy and cheap to connect from Chennai through train, 2h.30m journey. You can take your own vehicle too, till the top of the hill very near to temple. Parking facility avilable.

Just a small climb to the Mountain temple of lord muruga. Crowd was unusual when I visited due to special occasion but then the 25/- rs ticket queue was enough to complete the worship by just having to spend only an hour in the line. The autowala's are greedy and do charge you high both to drop you up the hill or at the bottom of the hill. Temple surrounding has a lot of eatery stalls for snack and drinks.

SO NICE...Just 60 kilometres from Tirupathi. Tiruttani Sri Subramanya swamy temple is located on the Tiruttani hill. Lord Muruga blesses us along with both Sri Valli and Dheivanai maaaa . Nice and peaceful place. But very limited bathroom facility for people who come to shave their head. spacious place around the temple temple is located at a hill. Those who not go by steps bus facility available for up and down 20rs for each person but very limited buses available people have to wait until bus got full.We have breakfast in annnadhanam hall the taste of food is nice. Car Parking lot and Hotels,Guest Rooms also available It has two routes, one is via steps and another is through mountain road which is preferable to enjoy the nature.view is very nice. Must visit Hindu temple, if you come near by.

This temple is one of the famous arupadai veedugal ( six temples dedicated to Lord Murugan in tamilnadu) located in Tiruttani town, this temple is on a hillock with a nice road. Huge parking facilities have been created for the pilgrims. Temple attracts lots of pilgrims and hence aborigines have made very good arrangements for regulating the queue. Pilgrims can opt for Dharshan queues on payment if they want to cut down time of waiting. The view of the Tiruttani town from the hill top is superb. Monkeys are plenty around the temple. Visiting this temple and having Dharshan of Lord Murugan is itself a divine experience.

It's an great divine place. You can reach in ways by steps and by car till uphill. Going by walk in early morning and coming back before 10am are good. After 10am in morning, it's too hot and it is jot advisable to walk in steps. I will be good if temple management to improve to have pedestrian walk shades

Absolutely marvelous view from the top.The only 2 things I had little problem at this place was that there was enormous parking place at the top of the hill but the guard stopped us way before the top, I don't know why. Me and my family had to walk to reach the top and the other thing is that there aren't any directions indicated for the way of to temple from the bottom. Please check before you go as the entrance is connected to a very small road and you can't make turns here and there, you've to take a long round and go all the way back to the same location if you go little bit front.

Visited here few times. I still remember visiting here in 2016. This place is so calm. But it's always so much crowd here. You need to stand in line to worship lord Murugan. You can also enjoy the view here. A chill hill with a beautiful view. Anyone can visit this temple

Temple is neat and clean. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowd and traffic. We went through train and got down in Tirutani station and from there we took an auto for 200 for 4 adults and 2 child's. On the way to temple, it was huge traffic as lot of vehicles piled up to take right turn to go to the temple and there was a toll charge as well. Luckily auto driver overtaken all the vehicles to get in to the toll gate as it is free for autos. Post which we went to the top and took 100 rupees ticket, which took around 45 mins to 1 hour for Darshan. There are free darshan and higher denomination darshan as well. While returning back to Tirutani railway station, traffic in the hills was horrible and ridiculous. Vehicles coming in the wrong way and blocking the way for the vehicles coming down. Police people at this hot summer came down and cleared the traffic, salute to them and then the traffic was easing better. This took around 45 mins to clear the traffic and at last we reached the station at 12.20 pm. While taking the ticket, tirutani to Chennai local train entering the platform. Huge crowd were waiting for this train. After a bit of struggle we got seat and journey started back to chennai

Had divine darshan of Lord Subramanian. Easy access to the temple in the hillock by car. Neat and well maintained temple. Lots of monkeys near queue lines, but mostly they don't bother people. Roads in the town are narrow and congested.

OM MURUGA 🙏 - I recently had the privilege of visiting the magnificent Arulmigu Thiruthani Murugan Temple♥, and I must say it was a truly divine experience. From the moment I stepped onto the temple grounds, I could feel a sense of serenity and spirituality enveloping me.🕉 . The temple itself is a masterpiece of architectural beauty. The intricate carvings, vibrant colors, and detailed craftsmanship on the walls and pillars left me in awe. 🛐

Really great place to visit Nowadays Queues are too quick even with General Darshan Temple Management had done a good job It would have been better , if we were allowed to see Lord Muruga little near sannidhi, that's my only concern. Other than that nothing bad to say.

Aroogaraa!! A peaceful morning visit, had a pleasant experience. Great view of town from 700 ft height temple. Main Idol is clearly visible and devotees not rushed to move fast while compared to other similar temples. Vehicle parking is not organized properly. Beware of monkeys, which will open bike's bag and do whatever they want. Visit early in the morning to avoid much crowd.

This temple is located 3km from the Chennai-Chitoor highway. The approach road from the highway leads to narrow roads and crowded market place, the temple is located on a hill, the entrance has grand Arch and road leading to temple is in very good condition. There is enough space to park more than 50-60 cars & + vehicles just below the temple about 50 steps. On the upper parking area, there is space for 30+ cars. Senior citizens or Family with infants can choose to park at the upper parking space. Ther are 3 or 4 small eateries in the entrance that serve limited breakfast and coffee/Tea. The temple is maintained well, almost all th3 places around the temple were neat and clean. Had darshan of Lord Murugan, it was very pleasant and peaceful. Temple has free Darshan and Rs 100 special darshan as well. Special darshan would take approx 15-30 minutes after getting the tickets, free darshan would take about 60 mts for Darshan. People visiting the temple, please check for timings as there is abhishekam in the morning and evening during this time there is no darshan for 60-90 minutes. Anyone planning to visit with strict Timeline, please look for darshan timings before going. I have uploaded a pic for Darshan and Abhishekam timings, they are in Tamil. Temple prasadham was very good. There is a public toilet facility on the north east corner.

Divine! Road will reach top of hill. If you have any senior citizens ask or pay money they'll let you on top. Else around 70-80 steps to be climbed and 300-400 mts steep walk to reach muruga. Well maintained temple. One will come out of temple with satisfied happy feeling. Puliyogare prasada is one of best ♥️ Note: there are lot of monkeys be careful with flowers food and bags

Divine place and a abode of subramanya swamy. Rush is common in anytime of the year. It's very hot during summer, walking without wearing slippers is a task but you don't complain if you consider it as tapasya

This is one of the six arupadai Veedu of Lord Murugan. Great place but has become too commercial and everything is money. Do not expect fair treatment and can expect royal treatment if you have money or power to command. There is 150rs.entrance and 100rs. Entrance and then others too and finally general free entrance. Lots of "beggars" sitting in alternative staircase steps on the way to the temple top. (as of June 2022).

Go early in the morning or by evening don't go by afternoon if then it's too hot They won't allow you to take pictures inside the temple. Car parking is slightly tough.

Thiruthani Murugan temple is one of the temples of arupadi veedu. When we went there during the festival time. Having a lot of crowds. Many devotees have furnished their worship. The Lord Murugan as usual looks so beautiful. He gives more energy, and more positivity thinks. You may climb the hills using the steps or you may directly go by car as well. I suggest going for a walk to the temple. While going for a walk, do Bajan or hear thirupugal. We are going to the temple to fill positive energy in our bodies. It helps us to improve in terms of good moves. We will get confidence throughout life.

Murugaaaaaaaaa... The place now they getting into some construction And they making to getting better Now they trying to construct the steps from bottom place to temple location.. Walking from bottom place to temple location it will give more interesting things to the public i hope that. Other than about temple, 🐒 i can seen lot here .and it not distrub others only for food it Roming.. But recently in news i have seen it was getting capture by gvt..which was also good one Because I can seen lot of peoples getting scare of monkeys... Here too i can see that people's using there kids to earn money...it's was worst things happening all around place where we searching for peace..this things must be get into control.. While waiting on the queue i can see there is no one taking care of public issues there. Here must be some proper way guidelines required. For early morning visit, sure you can feel the sunrise effects and nature was more lovely from the view of temple.. Stil more improvement required for making temple to became best way..

Must visit temple. One of the house(out of six houses) of lord muruga. Temple is maintained neatly. It will be great if painting is done Lot of monkeys around temple. You have free dharshan and 100 rupees queue. 100 rupees spl dharshan line looks like a free dharshan queue. Doesn't have plan on how the diversion of line goes. Finally to prasadam, everyone must have tamarind rice , chakarai pongal, murrukku which is excellent.

  • 5/5 Sivakumar S. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful temple. I recommend climbing the stairs to get the real spiritual and Devine experience sharing with other devotees in the way. You will see other devotees fulfilling their prayers along the way. There are several shops enroute to leave your footwear behind and get some refreshments. There around 370 steps give or take a few.

Thirutani was one of the arupadai veedu of lord Murugan. The last visit to the temple was way back in the early 90's almost 25 years ago. So it was in our list of travel destination. Its located on a slight hill top. The parking charges are around 50 for cars. There are ample options for parking the car. There is a option of 100rs for special darshan which is highly recommend for peak time and holidays. We had a good darshan and the parasdha counter was highly recommended since the items sold there was too good in taste and quality.
