Surrounding is serene, lush green, but unfortunately it was a disaster for me going to the temple, having waited for long 10 hours in queue without special darshan, darshan was no where close, giving priority to VIP visits, disastrous crowd management, overall not a pleasant trip for me and would not like to go in future.

The administrative block of TTD is located in varadaraja nagar Tirupati. Where the office deals with the chores of TTD. People from surroundings prefer to go for a evening and morning walks due to peaceful environment we get to experience there. The entire place makes you feel like you are in the hands of Balaji.

Lord Sri Venkateswara, also known as Srinivasa, Balaji, and Veṅkaṭachalapati, made Tirumala his abode five thousand years ago. Even before him, it was Lord Varahaswami who had made Tirumala his abode. Since then, many devotees have continued to construct grand entrances on the ramparts of the temple over generations. The temple complex is spread over 16.2 acres of land.

very devotional place some intrestung facts are The hair worn by Lord Balaji is silky, smooth, tangle-free, and absolutely real. The story behind those faultless locks goes like this – Lord Balaji, during his regime on earth, lost some of his hair in an unexpected mishap. A Gandharva Princess named Neela Devi quickly took note of this incident, and cut a portion of her glorious mane. She offered her chopped locks humbly to the deity and requested him to plant them on his head. Pleased with her devotion, the god accepted the kind offering and promised that whoever visits his shrine and sacrifices his/her hair at his feet will be blessed. Ever since, it has been a custom among devotees to shave their head off in the temple before or after their desires are fulfilled. also The light of an ardent devotee’s heart for the Divine never gets extinguished, so does the earthen lamps placed before the idol of the deity in the sanctum sanctorum of the Tirupati Balaji Temple. There are no reliable records about the time when these lamps were lit and who lit them. All that is known is that they have been burning since a long time and will continue to do so.

Unlike other temples in india, gives preferential treatment to politicians CM,PM,President(VIP darshan). Some 30 years back they used to have lot of swindlers and thief's also. Long ques for free darshan.

Tirupati It is renowned for its famous Sri Venkateswara Temple, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in the world, which attracts millions of devotees every year. The temple is located on the Tirumala hills and is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The city also has many other temples, including the Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple and the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple. Apart from religious sites, Tirupati is also known for its natural beauty and is surrounded by hills and waterfalls. The city is well-connected by road, rail, and air, and is a popular destination for tourists and pilgrims alike.

Visited the temple today on 5-5-2023, sought blessings, experienced heavy rains. Such an auspicious day and place to be at. Very well managed township, with lot of control and protocols. The lord Balaji is very powerful and miracles have happened for who visited. Must visit place, highly recommended irrespective of your religious faith.

Being a Tirupathian...... Comes near to Bhavani nagar Circle besides, Varadaraja swamy temple. A structure with cool look and office inside. Back of the admin block there is a big playground and back of the ground there are employee quarters, in the same area there is TTD Central Hospital. A Morning walk bay with different crawling sounds of birds. I feel this is the best place to walk through in between trees whenever someone is in disturbance to have a Peaceful mind.
