Very beautiful & peaceful place, very good maintenance. No gods are their to worship, only Sankarar statue & Nandhi statue. Impressive thing is Curd rice, which is made of pure milk, nearby only there. Very nice & clean pond is available Outside this place with golden fishes.

It’s a good place and very calm to get the blessings of Maha Periyava. It is the birthplace of periyava and good atmosphere with clean and fresh environment. No crowd so we can get the free dharshan and construction was done by considering Tanjore big temple as model. There are lots of cows and pooja mandapam is not open. Overall it’s a nice experience to go there

To think such a temple was built in our era gives goosebumps. Periyava is camping here right now. Facilities arranged by the mutt are top notch for devotees. 🙏🏻

A must visit place. An absolute serene place and blissful. A traditional construction during the modern times. Visit before 10 AM or after 5 PM as the path is of stone planks and during the day they may be warm to walk on if you wish to do a pradakshina (circumambulate). The students learn Vedam within the premises, which is very soothing to the ears. There is a decent parking space outside the temple. This is on the banks of Palar river .
