The ancient temple of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy is located in Srinivasa Mangapuram, about 12 km to West Tirupati in Chittoor district. This ancient temple which is under the control of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is maintained by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams since 1967 and utsavams and rituals in this temple are being performed since 1981. Today, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple is considered sacred, next to Tirumala temple. Those who are unable to make it to Tirumala can have darshan of Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy to fulfill their wish. As the name indicates, this temple carries significance for newlywed couples. Newlyweds offer prayers first in this temple as this is the place where Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy with Goddess Padmavathi Devi stayed for six months, just after their wedding.

One of the famous and must visit temples in tirupati. Its near to srivari mettu steps. When we went on a Saturday, they didnot allow near to god in the Q line. They are allowing people near to God only who gives money for aaseervachanam or with recomendation. Crowd was less when we visited. Laddu prasadam counter was closed and maintenance was poor. One will not be satisfied who comes from a long distance to return back without prasadam.

Srinivasa Mangapuram, Kalyana Venkateshwara Swamy Temple is a must visit Holy Place located in Tirupati. Pilgrims visiting Tirumala usually visit here. Temple is maintained well by TTD, a very clean and hygiene location. A very calm place, not much crowded at morning times. There will be huge rush on Leave days and Public Holidays.

Very good and very old temple if you are planning to go tirupati once you have to come this holy temple. Very calm and peaceful place. Open darsanam facilities is available hare you not need to pay any thing for darasan .if want to come here you don't need to hire taxy you can come here by bus very easy and cheap. If you ask to auto or cab they will ask 500-600 . So just take bus near by tirupati railway station easily.it will take half an hour one way. mostly not more crowd you can see as well as tirupati. You can do your darshan within half an hour or sometimes 5 or 10 minutes. infront of main gate lots of people asking for buying fool mala or pujan samagri. Pujan samagri is not necessary if want to buy you can buy. but inside the temple you cant offer this puja samagri to god. you are not allowed to do that. only darasan facilities available here. one more thing is there if you want to buy spacial darasan ticket you can buy but darshan line same for all visitors. So my advise is you should come once for darasan if you are coming to tirupati. Thanks for reading my review .

This temple is Magical if you believe in Magic and God, this is the perfect place for your wish of getting married fulfilled real soon. Its a belief that one who is expecting to get married but many problems are coming in the way, he should come here and tie a Dhaga (Kalyan Kankanam Seva - Rs. 20 Ticket at the gate counter) in the Kalyanmandapam to get obstacles cleared. And after he gets married, the couple has to come here again soon and do the Kalyanam Pooja (Seva)- (Rs. 500 ticket for 2 people) which means performing marriage of Lord Shri Balaji with his wives assuming that it is your own marriage. I have tied the Kalyan Kankanam Dhaga on my right wrist. Lets hope that this works as it is believed. I personally believe in God and so I hope for the best always. The cleanliness is very good in the temple and premises. Even there is landscaping done near the toilets. They have a lot of parking space around the temple in the back side. I think there is a bus stop in front of the temple because a bus to Tirumala Bus Stand stopped when we waved to him. But remember that you should keep your Google Maps set to your destination with navigation because they can't understand your language. We took a ticket of 35 Rs. Each but they dropped us in middle of the road very far away from the Bus Stand. Or direcly use Uber Auto. Because local auto drivers will empty your pockets immediately. I have attached the pictures in and around the temple. Please check them out. Have a safe trip. TIA.

The holy place - Srinivasa Mangapuram , is where Supreme deity of kaliyuga Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with His consort Sri Padmavathi Devi after their marriage for a stay of six months. The deity of the temple is Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy who is known for his consideration towards the devotees who are in dire need of God's blessings and he is to bless all the devotees liberally. A well managed temple, all basic amenities available; big parking space. nice temple pond. A bit inside from the main highway. At the foothills of the Thirumalai. easily accessible by road. Bus service is frequent. Trains at ChandraGiri station.

Massive temple on way to Srivari Mettu, one of the preferred route to climb up to Tirumala. This is the place where Lord Venkateswara got married and hence is equally revered as Tirumala. The temple has large bathrooms for pilgrims to freshen up before proceeding e Srivari Mettu and Tirumala. Convenient location on the main road. Lots of road side eateries serving delicious South Indian cuisine.

Such a wonderful experience. The temple and its surroundings are so pleasant…you can just sit in the divine grace for hours peacefully no one will disturb you. The temple architecture is complex thanks to then legends who are involved in making it a marvel. Visit this temple for peace and serenity.

One of the best temples of tirupati. It takes around half an hour from tirupati to reach this place. Apart from festive times this temple is non crowded and peaceful to visit. They provide luggage counters to keep you luggage for safety as you go for darshan. Temple has strict restrictions regarding photography. Dress code is also important when you visit the temple. It is mandatory to wear traditional clothing. If you visit during festivals though temple is crowded you will get to see various rites being performed and the temple dieties are decorated based on the festival. From this temple the famous srivari mettu is just around half an hour from where the walk path to tirumala is located. Piligrims walk through this path to tirumala.

The story goes that after Lord Venkateswara’s wedding to Padmavathi, the daughter of King Akasa Raja, He set off to go to Tirumala. But enroute, the Lord and his divine consort, stayed over at his new mother-in-law’s home. Since He stayed in Mangapuram, the village came to be called as Srinivasa Mangapuram.

Kalyana Venkateswara swamy temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram. A must watch temple for all pilgrims who planned to go Tirumala . it’s around 22-15kms far from Tirupathi with very good connectivity. You can opt for public transportation like RTC bus, TTD free bus (little less frequency), private transportation like jeep and auto. About Temple: we can see Lord Venkateswara from very near by. And it’s exactly same resemblance of Tirumala. Very spacious temple where you can sit and take rest after darshanam. TTD offers prasadam for every devotee. It’s crowded on festivals and Saturday. It’s quite free on other days. We can avail special entry darshanam also by taking different types of tickets and sevas. No shopping ❌🛍️ Sreevari Metlu(who wants to reach Tirumala by walking) is around 4-6km.

Beautiful and very clean temple.. Main god is KALYANA SRINIVASA PERUMALa and this temple is considered to be very important place for those who wish to get married and special poojas are performed for those people separately with the Uchavar. The main god is similar to Lord Venkateshwara swamy at Tirupati.. and special Pooja is performed and usually they give Prasadam but I missed this time. And since it was during the Vaikunta Ekadasi time, I was lucky to use the Vaikunta doors.. totally heavenly and very good dharshan.. it takes 20mins in the que.. don’t take 5 rupees ticket.. just go with sarva Dharshan which moves faster..

The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, a form of Lord Vishnu, and is believed to be one of the important places of worship in the region. The temple's history dates back to the 12th century, and it is believed that Lord Venkateswara appeared in the dream of a devotee and asked him to construct a temple in his honor in Srinivasa Mangapuram. The temple's architecture is typical of the South Indian style, with a gopuram or tower at the entrance and a mandapa or pavilion inside. The main deity of the temple is Lord Venkateswara, who is also known as Kalyana Venkateswara, meaning the Lord of Marriage. It is believed that couples who offer their prayers to the deity are blessed with a happy and long married life. The temple also features shrines dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi and Lord Ganesha. The temple is also known for its annual Brahmotsavam festival, which is celebrated in the month of February or March. The festival lasts for nine days and attracts devotees from all over the region. During the festival, the deities are taken out in a procession on different vahanas or vehicles, such as the Garuda vahana, the Hanumantha vahana, and the Sesha vahana. The temple is easily accessible by road from Tirupati, which is located about 12 kilometers away. The nearest airport is in Tirupati, and the nearest railway station is in Renigunta, which is about 10 kilometers away.

Serene atmosphere inside the temple and we'll maintained. Bus to the temple can be boarded from Tirupathi APSRTC stand and the travel fare is ₹30-40. Time taken for journey is less than an hour.

If one wants to get a wholesome darshan of the Lord Srinivasa/Balaji, then this place is a must to visit. The Lord is just as he is in Tirumala. It is believed, that he displayed this form to his mother Bakula Devi and then started to climb the hill and stood in the form he is now. This is about 10kms before we reach Tirupathi on the Bangalore-Tirupathi highway. Do stop by for a blissful experience

Very nice and small temple located on the anantpur highway. Nice area and moderately maintained it could be better if they maintain the pond with water. I felt some positive vibes of lord Balaji🌬🙏 when I was there. Should visit this temple if you come to Tirumala.

Holy place where srinivasa swamy married ammavaaru. Has a large built pond, swamy vaari idol. There will be marriage ceremonies and almost every day we can here one or other function. Holy sounds of naadaswaram, south indian cultural tradition beautifully shown here. Outside lawn is very big, can accommodate hundreds of devotees. We can see and enjoy a serene atmosphere, cool breeze, sense of satisfaction here. Photos not allowed inside. outside premises they are allowing. But downside is the place where chappals are kept that is so unhygienic and I'll maintained. Officials should look into this.

Must visit the temple in the Tirupati which is on the way to srivari mettu one of the way to tirumala by walk . It the place where the lord Venkateswara swani stayed for a duration after his marriage as advised by the Maharshi . hence the place has same importance as tirumala

If we can’t have proper Darsanam in Tirumala, then this temple is a great alternative destination. Peaceful, calm and ancient temple. Idol here is taller than the one in Tirumala, and known as Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy. Devotees can visit this temple by bus from Tirupati Bus Stand. Buses towards Madanapalli, Piler go on this route and there’s is a stop in front of the temple.
