My favourite temple which is located at the hill top. Weekdays will not have much crowed. Weekends or in festival reasons there would be more crowd. This temple is maintained very well and clean. Its one among the Arupadai murugan temple. Must visit for a peaceful prayers.

Went on march 5th. From chennai Temple has got lot of parking space for vehicles. No hairpin bends just a 2min drive to hill. Check the timings and go we had to wait 1hr as 8 to 9 30 there was no darshan. no dress code any decent dress is fine. You have some refreshments near the temple if you want

Tiruttani Sri Subramanya swamy temple is located on the Tiruttani hill. Lord Muruga blesses us along with both Sri Valli and Dheivanai amman, which can only be seen in few places across the world. The whole temple atmosphere is peaceful and make out minds calm and relaxed.. And the early morning dharshan will be the best as the crowd will be less and we can feel the chill air from the surrounding mountains and can also witness the beautiful sunrise 😍 It has two routes, one is via steps and another is through mountain road which is preferable to enjoy the nature. The temple is open for the whole day starting from 5am in auspicious festival and muhurtham days as more marriages will happen throughout the day and visitors will be more in these days. Only One of the Tamil kadavul’s Arupadai veedu which is near Chennai, in the northern part of Tamil Nadu.

One of arupadai veedu. Divine place. Worth visiting. But see timing - better plan on weekdays. Weekends plan noon time 12-1 pm , 5-6pm they will close for apishegam. Free pass and 100 rs ticket available. Special tickets can be booked via online. 2000 (2 members). Visit their website. Temple clean, have enough drinking water, toilet facilities. Car parking available. Temple will close by 9 pm.

One of our family's favourite temple. We come here often. We took Rs.150 darshan to avoid queue. The darshan was great and Lord Muruga was decorated beautifully.

Not the right season to visit especially in summer time .. Surprisingly there are so many Q lines for payment lines and Temple Management won't provide safety precautions when it comes to walk in surrounding of the temple .. too much heat .. no facility for cooling mats or sheds .. seriously small kids will not survive cause of those conditions..suffered a lot .. At least do justice for people.. When it comes to God ..it's satisfying ..

Also known as Thanigai malai as the corresponding english meaning for this tamil word is subsided. This is the very special place as lord's angry was subsided after lord killed the demon Surapadman. Lord Subramaniya Swamy marriage with Lord Sri Valli Thayar had so taken place here, hence this place is very famous for marriages. Due to this, there are nearly 900+ marriage halls built in and around the town and almost all of them will be booked during muhurtham times. Various inscriptions found in this temple and around many affiliated temples dated back from first cholas, pallavas, Vijayanagara kingdoms. Just 84 kilometers away from Chennai Central Railway station and around 25 local trains are plying between two stations and few express trains will stop here. Devasthanam is also running buses between hill top and foot path starting place near old bus stand.

A divine pilgrimage which is a very crowded temple. One of the "Aaru padai veedu" (6 homes) of Murugan (subramanya swamy). One can reach the temple either by a vehicle or by climbing the stairs. There are a lot of facilities for wheelchairs, tonsuring, and ear piercing. One can even pay for the temple "Ucchavamurthi" so that the person can pull the cart. The temple has ample parking space for both two wheelers and four wheelers. The view from the temple is also amazing. It is a must visit place to get blessings from Lord Murugan.

It's one among the Lord Murugan's Arupadai temple. Situated at the top of the small hill. It has ample space for vehicle parking. Parking charges are reasonable. Expect moderate to heavy crowd on weekends and heavy crowd on auspicious days. During our visit on a weekend, we chose free dharisanam. Though it had a long queue, it took about just 40 minutes to get in and out. Temple premises is well maintained.

It is visited by so many people and the proper channel is there. Everyone is guided well by the temple authority. Timings to visit are morning and evening. If you want to visit in the afternoon then u have to wait in a long queue which will make you tiresome

Visited this returning from Arunchalam. It havs paid and free darshan. Moderate rush, it's in a hill top. One needs to travel a bit inside from main road. There is annadanam in specific timings, please find out nearby and taste the food. One can find lot of monkeys there, careful with cocnuts and bananas. They do chase. Tip: Remember in Tamilnadu temples are closed between 12pm-3pm. Plan accordingly

Divine experiences.Postive vibes, we got a great darshan. We took Rs. 100 ticket and took an hour and half to get the darshan, was told we can get darshan in 30 mins as we brought senior citizens and kids. Needs lots of improvement in infrastructure esp the queues. No fans for people in queue in general queue.

Temple is situated at the hill top where you can reach via 2/4 wheeler or via steps. First aid, drinking water and toilet facilities are available around the temple. When it is crowded, opt for special darshan which cost 100 rs per person. During evening, temple will be opened for darshan by 6 PM only.

Thirutani was one of the arupadai veedu of lord Murugan. The last visit to the temple was way back in the early 90's almost 25 years ago. So it was in our list of travel destination. Its located on a slight hill top. The parking charges are around 50 for cars. There are ample options for parking the car. There is a option of 100rs for special darshan which is highly recommend for peak time and holidays. We had a good darshan and the parasdha counter was highly recommended since the items sold there was too good in taste and quality.

This temple is one of the aru padai and is located on a hill top. The temple management is operating a bus to hike the hill at Rs.10 per person. The alternate is by steps where in you get to hike some 300 plus steps to reach the temple. It's a good and beautiful temple. One of the cleanest temple well maintained water point at equal intervals.

One of 6 temples of lord Murugan located at Tiruttani. The temple has good parking facilities. Located in small hill. But the thing is the temple has no basic facilities like water and bathroom facilities. They need to improve the necessary things about. Apart from all, the lord Murugan is one of the power full good and the temple gives positivity.

Very divine place. To avoid crowds, plan your trip on non festive days. Three times Abhishek can be booked in advance to get special Darsan of two people . Apart from that only special darshan also can be purchased during Abhishek time.

One of the murugan temples among 6 padai veedu. Most powerful god. The temple is located 13Km from Aarakonam. Both steps and road ways are available to reach the temple. The mountain is small . Easy to get to the temple. The crowd will be normal on weekdays and slightly higher on weekends. Both free and special dharisan(Rs.100) are available. Drinking water and car parking facilities are available. Auto is available from down the hill to the temple. Good place to visit with family and friends.

The architecture of the temple is a testament to the rich heritage of South Indian temples. The intricate carvings and vibrant colors on the gopuram are awe-inspiring. Inside the temple, the sanctum sanctorum dedicated to Lord Muruga is a place of deep devotion and tranquility. The priests conduct rituals with utmost sincerity, and you can feel the positive energy in the air. It's a wonderful place for introspection and prayer.
