Hi, I had applied for the guest house on 21 June 2023 for my stay on 30 June 2023 for one day. There was no information on whether we got the application confirmed on the website provided by you (the daily notification circulars you publish). We tried contacting the multiple phone numbers provided by you on the website and no one picked the call. Upon reaching the guest house on 30 June, the staff was really non cooperative and they said they have not received any intimation regarding any bookings for 30 June 2023. They informed me they have no contact numbers for assistance and were very hostile in their approach towards us for any help. I request the concerned authorities to be more proactive and inform the applicants at least 5 days before as you have mentioned in the website, whether the application is approved or declined. Place is nice. Problem you face while staying there is - they won’t provide dinner without any reason . They will tell u that they can’t cook food for one person or two . Even all the rooms occupied by guests ; they tell the same reason to each occupants individually ( planned move to avoid service ) same happens to providing lunch also. We can’t find a neat restaurant even in two kms locality . My advice for the visitors :- just tell them u need food even if u are single occupant in the rest house / or give official reply in letterpad about the non availability of food . ( if u ask for the same ; they immediately arrange food; even from outside that happens to me ) . Same happened to me 4 times so far ; and atleast I responded . Ensure all the above while you check in. If they repeat the same reason to you ; feel free to complaint it to GAD dept through mail and official phone number provided in the dept website . And through tourism ministers complaint redressal portal. It’s our right to avail the services . Thanks you .

Neat and tidy rooms available at cheap rate.For one day it costs around 500rs for public . Staffs are very friendly.

A wonderful place to stay. Just renovated, calm, spacious and full of greenery. Good place to stay with family as well. Currently there are 4 non ac (400 rs per night), 2 ac rooms (600 rs. Per night). I was told that 3 cottages are under renovation.

Dear Sir, I have applied for a booking under ref A133323, date : 21st Sept . However no notification has been received yet. Status of application is shown as not taken for processing. Since I'm traveling with my kids last min change / cancelation can lead to chaos. Can u confirm the status so that I can look for other option in case there is no allotment . Thanks Lakshmy.

Nice place to stay for one day. Nalukettu block in the guest house is a heritage building. Must be properly maintained. Garden is properly looked after by the contract people. The main draw back is that, there is no Cook in this Guest house. So there is no lunch, dinner & breakfast. This situation is very pathetic. We have to starve in the morning for breakfast. There are no hotels near this GH. There is a supervisory lapse on the part of the Manager. Our energetic Tourism Minister Shri Riyas or the Director may please do the needful in the matter.

They provide great rooms but the guy in charge is entitled and rude.
