One of the few good toddy shops located around Varkala. Easily accessible from the popular tourist spots such as the Varkala Cliff and Beach. Hot, fresh and tasty food is served here, however make sure that you ask for the prices before ordering as there is no printed menu with prices. Food is rather on a pricey side.

This is a restaurant and toddy bar on the way to Varkala when you come from Trivandrum city. The place is a little away from the main road. There are small cottages where you can enjoy seafood and Kerala style dishes. The food was good. Make sure you order limited items if you just two or three people. The quantity might be a little more than what you expect. I think there are restrictions for selling toddy. They said that they don't have toddy and some cops were checking the cottages. There's ample car parking space and the staff was friendly.

The food was good. Tried there beef roast ,squid roast and karimeen fry along with appam and porotta which all tasted very good. The main highlight was the quantity and the prices are very reasonable. They have separate dining place for families also with good parking area. Highly recommended place to try out in Trivandrum which is locate near Varkala.

This place seems totally overhyped. At one point they may have been good but now they're just riding on popularity which explains the exorbitant food prices. We ordered the chicken roast but it didn't taste like chicken, may be a jungle fowl but there were so many bones and no meat. We didn't even complete our meal and didn't find it worth parceling either. For 700rs, it was absolutely not worth it. The red snapper was okay but definitely not worth 900rs. The only reason we wanted to visit them was for the toddy but alas, it was not available. Overall disappointing!

The shop is located in a very quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a perfect place to spend time with friends or family as it is not crowded. Very good food served with taste and cleanliness. But I think the price is ridiculously high.

That too for the oily food they are serving 2) Bad serving person - we requested for porotta and when is serving half his hand was inside the food, then he was not willing to come to our table.. but he was kind of following me for tips while paying bill 3) over priced items a) crab is Rs. 600 b) duck rost is 500(totally not worth) c) small karimeen - Rs.350 4) Food taste was nothing great.. Ok.. Ok items. But its spicy, so can't feel the taste much.. 4) the location is very good and greenish. But totally not maintained. Full of plastic bottles around. Overall bill for 2 adults and 2 kids is 2000rs which i feel totally not worth...

All starters and food was good. When I went rice was not available (lunch time).toddy was also good, they’re serving as light and strong. Strong one was lil bit fermented. Both were good. I had ordered for beef, prawn and chicken starters all were good.

The tender toddy was too watery. But a refreshing drink during the heat. Kappa(tapioca) and choora curry(tuna) was good though. The ambience was a bit disappointing though. Fans weren’t working.

Nice place for experience vide varieties of kerala village style food. Basically it is a model toddy shop, but you can go with your family, they will provide good service in AC family room. The food is really tasty and the ambiance is good. Parking space is available and the road is good for cars and bikes. The service is very good and you will get some reserved cabin like spaces and that will give you more privacy if you are going with more members. (Alcohol is injurious to health!)

It was my first visit to a toddy shop. But they didn't have toddy. Still, we decided to have lunch here. The AC room had a terrible odor and so we chose to sit in the non AC seating. The tables and seating was all very grungy. When the waiter brought us water his fingers were inside the glasses and so we chose to drink bottled water from the bottles. The seafood meals was ok, nothing to write home about. The experience was very underwhelming and I will not go back to this restaurant ever again.

The worst Toddy bar I have ever been. The hype that this place creates is for nothing. The food was awful , the people who served it were even more unhygienic. The toddy was served in an old plastic bottle , with insect legs in it. The tables and the atmosphere was very unhygienic and not meant for families. We got food poisoning because of the food and toddy. It's a useless place. Not at all recommended to families or even bachelors. Am sure no one wants to pay and get food poisoning. If there was an option to dislike , wouldn't have even given 1 star in review.

This place is worth a visit! I have visited this place twice. I got great food and toddy the first time but it was below average the second time. We felt the toddy was diluted with water and the waiter confirmed they do that on weekends when there is a huge rush and shortage of toddy. Food was also just average.

THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE! I wish someone told me that the portions were extremely large before I ordered. Each serving of chicken/beef/squid/fish is good enough for 4-6 people. Fish is caught live in front of you from the pool, so there is no question about its freshness. The meats are very fresh too. Food is exceptionally good. The prices are very reasonable. Good place to go with family. It's amid paddy fields far away from the city. They have very good non vegetarian foods. We had beef roast, Kerala chicken roast, Kerala duck roast and squid roast along with tapioca and appam. We spend around 4 hours. They also provide coconut toddy. Good parking facility is there. Your family will get privacy as there food is served in separate huts.
