Rooms are poorly handled, bathrooms are unbelievably stained, commodes are not sanitized or even covered. I found bulk of waste under the bed, implying it wasn't cleaned & only rest of the portion was swept. I did raise change of my room as it was unclean. The newly allocated room was disappointing again. I paid 2750/sqft. The room is not even worth rs.1000. Looks and standards are that of a max 2 start hotel. It is unclean, taps, showers & all steel sanitary wares are rusted. Wash basins are open with no filtering units. However i still decided to keep quiet. Their systems are poorly updated - this happened regarding the breakfast & payment as well well. Though i booked a package including breakfast from lemon tree, same was not updated to hotel's booking. The hotel informed it's not included though i paid for the same! Later, they connected to lemon tree, verified my booking information & allowed the same. Though i booked through lemon tree hotels using my credit card, when the hotel staff requested for payment during checkout, i got confused & thought may be my payment didn't go thru, it was just blocked & paid again. When i understood the payment was made twice, i called them & it took almost two days for them to agree for the refund, siting they need brand confirmation. Then they said they need 7 days for the refund, siting approval process & took 12 days. Unfortunately i missed a 0 in the bank account number i provided & now they claim i would wait another 7 days. I do not understand why a reputed organization would need to hold a customer's money siting petty reasons! I thought not to post their hotel pics as it was pathetic. But i can't hold back any more.

Keys Select in Thiruvananthapuram benefits from a strategic and convenient location, making it an accessible choice for travelers. However, my experience suggests that there are several areas where the hotel needs significant improvement to meet the expectations typically associated with the Keys brand. Cleanliness, a fundamental aspect of any hospitality service, unfortunately falls short here. The lack of attention to cleanliness was noticeable and detracted from the overall comfort and appeal of the stay. This is an area where immediate and focused improvement is necessary. The food offered at Keys Select also left room for enhancement. Whether it was the variety, taste, or presentation, it did not quite hit the mark. Given that dining is a crucial part of the hotel experience, elevating the quality of food would greatly improve guest satisfaction. Services provided by the hotel were another aspect that could be significantly improved. From the efficiency of check-in and check-out processes to the responsiveness of the staff to guest needs, there is a clear opportunity for the hotel to elevate its service standards. In conclusion, while Keys Select Thiruvananthapuram enjoys the advantage of a good location, it needs to focus on fundamental aspects like cleanliness, food quality, and service efficiency. Addressing these areas would not only enhance the guest experience but also align the hotel more closely with the expectations set by the Keys brand.

Stay was good. But the room provided was not up to the mark. There were mosquitoes inside the room. Complementary breakfast was also good. Seems like the washrooms were not renovated timely. They had provided tea kit and kettle, but couldn't see any grooming kit, even a tooth brush. Our expectation on rooms of this hotel was great but we couldn't meet it during the stay.

I spent two days here in December 2022, but unfortunately, my stay was far from satisfactory. Although I chose this hotel based on the Lemon Tree brand, I was disappointed to find that many areas of the hotel were unclean and unsatisfactory, except for the main lobby. In my room, I noticed that the sheets appeared dirty and unchanged. Despite raising this concern with the staff, I had to resort to shouting at them in the lobby before they agreed to change the sheets. Even then, the manager informed me that they were short-staffed and that I should bear with them. However, I found this unacceptable, as it is not standard practice to provide subpar service to customers. Moreover, the hotel does not provide shaving kits, brushes, or combs by default, and guests have to request them. I am uncertain why the staff behaved in such a manner, possibly to cut costs. In my opinion, the only redeeming factor for this hotel is its location near the temple. Overall, I feel that the hotel is a complete waste of money.

My recent stay at Keys Select Hotel, Trivandrum was incredibly disappointing. Despite choosing it due to its reputable brand name, like Lemon Tree Hotel, and expecting a secure environment, I encountered severe issues. The behavior of the hotel staff was unacceptable. When I went to collect my online food order from the reception, I requested a bottle of water from a staff member I met in the corridor. To my dismay, upon returning to my room, I found a water bottle that had been placed there without my consent. It became apparent that the staff had entered my room using a master key, leaving me feeling violated and unsafe as a woman. I spent the night in a state of panic, unable to sleep and resorting to keeping all the lights on. The following morning, I awoke to a power outage in the room, further exacerbating my anxiety. Despite the issue being resolved by an electrician sent by reception, the power outage recurred in the evening. These experiences were shocking, especially considering the reputable brand name of Lemon Tree Hotels. Having stayed at numerous business hotels across various cities as part of my official visits, I have never encountered such blatant disregard for guest privacy and safety. Consequently, I have decided not to patronize this hotel chain in the future and will advise against it, particularly for solo travelers. As for the room itself, it was spacious, and cleanliness was satisfactory. However, the complimentary breakfast offered was minimal and hardly deserving of the name "complimentary." While the staff were friendly, there was a noticeable lack of hospitality and professionalism that left much to be desired.

I don't want to rate it at all.... the most pathetic experience one could ever imagine. The experiences : 1. Reception floor cleaning, soap water all over posing danger of slip and fall, that's the welcome scenario 2. They say, basic amenities in the room, but for double occupancy, one one towel and as much water bottle kept. 3. Call them 2/3 times but to no avail of get placing the basics. 4. They don't even intimate the changes in serving of breakfast, you go in for surprise. Can list more, but stopping here. They have a long way to go in improving the service standards

I have just checked in and I am sad at the state of this hotel. The room is as good as a lodge but it's marketed as a 4 star hotel on Google. How? It is clearly not even 3 star to standards. I don't know if they prices charged are such but it is injustice to guests for being duped about room quality. The pictures are definitely not how the room looks. It's very shabby and not quite what I expected. I didn't expect it to be 4 star or better but it has to be atleast better than a lodge! I have just checked in and I decided to never check in to this group of hotels again. If any hotel needs to learn ruthless cost cutting can come by. No hotel can justify that they are recovering from covid because everyone is, including the guests who pay for services. I won't get my money back and don't want it either but for everyone looking to book here in the future, you might want to think twice.

One of the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, the rooms were not clean. Non-smoking floor and rooms have smell of cigarette. The rooms and hallway was damp. The rooms were not kept clean, you wont get the basic stationary if u need it. One of the best way to check if your hotel room os kept clean is to look under the bed, and here it was a universe of unhygienic content under the bed, cigarette butts, hair bunch, half eaten food, dust and what not. One positive aspect about this hotel is the food.

It was a pleasure staying at this property, which is 5 minutes walking from the Tvm City. Keys is a nice hotel with excellent food and service. They offer complementary fruit, and coffee in the room. Breakfast is good and you can choose: Indian, continental, etc. Also the restaurant is very good . Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed or weekend getaway a lot. An excellent & relaxing stay. Loved our stay. Our thanks for a great stay. Thank you for your hospitality & kindness! .I will definitely stay there again.

Rooms are big, neat well maintained and has good view. Also the location is bit interior compared to Lulu mall or beaches or key govt offices. The problem is hospitality for even small things like toiletries you will have to call the reception if you need it. Food in the buffet needs improvement in terms of choice

The hotel is good and staff very friendly. It so happened that I slipped in the room in the night and injured my leg In the morning round about 5.00 AM I informed the reception, immediately the person came to my room and enquired what what was wrong. He instantly arranged for a wheelchair chair and cab to take me to the nearest hospital. He himself accompanied me to the hospital, since I did not know the local language. After treatment they brought me to the hotel. They helped taking me for breakfast and lunch, They took very good care till I left for Airport to take my flight back to Bangalore. Their cooperation and support at that hour is highly appreciated.Since I was solo they extended friendly hand. Kudos to the team

This is just an OK hotel post pandemic. Used to stay frequently before pandemic and was a good business hotel. Now, they are just maintaining the rooms how it was earlier and the damaged furnitures are still there without replacing. Hope, the hotel will take necessary steps to renew the property.

Dear Keys Hotel Trivandrum Team, I recently had the pleasure of staying at your wonderful establishment, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived until the time I checked out, everything about my stay was truly memorable. The first aspect that stood out to me was the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. Your staff greeted me with genuine smiles and made me feel at home right away. The check-in process was efficient and hassle-free, and I appreciated the attention to detail from your front desk team. The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. It was evident that the staff takes great care in maintaining the rooms to the highest standards. The amenities provided in the room ensured that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to cleanliness and tidiness did not go unnoticed. Now, let's talk about the food! The dining experience at your hotel was truly exceptional. The restaurant served some of the most delicious dishes I've ever had. From the hearty breakfast buffet to the mouthwatering dinner options, I was consistently impressed with the quality and variety of the cuisine. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was impeccable. I must give a special mention to the chef and kitchen staff for their culinary expertise. What truly sets Keys Hotel Trivandrum apart is the impeccable service provided by your staff. Each team member I encountered was not only professional but also extremely friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable stay, and their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident at every turn. The overall experience at Keys Hotel Trivandrum was truly outstanding, and I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to your entire team. You have created a welcoming, comfortable, and customer-centric environment that truly sets you apart from the rest. I look forward to the opportunity to return to your hotel in the future. Thank you for making my stay in Trivandrum a memorable one. Warm Regards, Vinay

I stayed with my family in Keys Select hotel at Trivandrum just 2 weeks before. We took suite room and its very spacious and clean. Staffs at front office, house keeping and room service are very friendly, courteous and responsive. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and so all the places (temples, restaurants, shopping centers) are very near and easy to reach. Dont miss the morning breakfast buffet, it includes all south indian varieties and continental food, and the food is very delicious. Based on my overall experience, the stay was worth for the cost and I would recommend this hotel for the stay.

I'm having a group at Keys Select. The interior is the BEST in the entire Trivandrum. The rooms are spacious, clean and all the rooms have views of the city. However, the restaurant team is very slow in serving the food. The food was not refilled promptly. To refill the food, the staff took at least 15-20 minutes. The rotis also served very late. The guests don't have much patience, the staff should understand this. Mostly half of our rooms had door lock issues. While checking with the reception, he informed me that there's a problem with machines. It is damaged. My room was neat and clean but it had two small cockroaches. One of our group's room had floor leakage. Many rooms at this hotel need repair. From such a standard and reputed brand called Lemon Tree, such service especially in restaurants is not at all expected.

Extremely pleasant service. Especially impressed by the courteous staff. Rooms are extremely spacious with great views from the big windows. Even the bathroom had all toiletries available. Strongly recommended if you are planning to stay in Trivandrum.

We checked in with a group of 60 people... The rooms are clean but the bathrooms are quite small... We didn't get opportunity to try food other than breakfast.. unfortunately we couldn't get most of the items as we were late ... The location was suitable.. very close to Padmanabha Swamy temple...

Had a pleasant stay at the hotel. I stayed in a Keys room. The check in procedures were swift ,the lounge area is pretty big and ceiling design is amazing. The room is small in size enough for 2 guests. The room was neat and clean. The quality of the furnitures in the room was decent with minute some tear offs. The buffet for breakfast was decent. There were more Indian varieties rather than Western. I would definitely recommend this hotel if your under strict budgets.

Just one word --- BIG MISTAKE! Please do not stay here if u love yourself and your family. This hotel has lost its sheen and is almost on its death bed. We booked this without checking the reviews and it was a big mistake. The door locks don't work. The corridors stink..the bed is unclean and not tucked in properly. No hygiene....u don't even get towels...bathroom is dirty, what a nightmare. Small 2 stars would be better than this and food, don't get me started. Absolute waste of money. Keys management it's time to shut down!

Food is good. Housekeeping is prompt. Rates are high if you are planning to halt before a midnight flight, hotel should provide half day room facility without breakfast.

Stay in this hotel is okay. Services are good and staffs are polite and gentle. Food is good but add it when you book in advance. Parking is limited so in peak hours or holiday or festival times it will be bit difficult to park four wheelers in here. Complimentary: Dental kits, water bottles, tea bag, milk powder, coffee powder and kettle is available for hot water. Shower gel,hand-wash gel, body lotion available (Bath soap is not allowed) Need to consider the below before booking:- Floor looks old(not sure about other floors), this hotel doesn't look like 4 star hotel- Ceiling are leaking like water drops and AC condition is poor (waters drops in floor) not able to control the temperature (added the photos). Entire floor got wet and even dress got wet.

Room service is very good and understand customer situation. I would like to share my experience, my checkout was at 12PM. But for some official work I reached at 2PM . But they still allow me to get fresh. And after half hr I checkout for the Airport. Thanks KeySelect.

Stayed with my wife for 2 days. Booked through their silver membership which is available freely on registration at Lemontrees website. Got 20% discount and free buffet breakfast included. Booking was hassle free. This property was recently taken over by Lemontree management, so faced few hassles at the reception due to non updation and ongoing linking process with the new management. The room was good, but not upto the mark for a 4 Star hotel. The food was average. The reception staff were completely clueless about many process and looked clueless. I think the management should provide adequate training at hospitality for the staffs. They were personally good but little clueless about the work protocols. For the price it’s worth. If few improvements are made it wud shine out.

The rooms weren't great at all. The bathroom had hair on the tiles. As soon as I entered the place , they were renovating and it felt empty. The dinner was alright and a complimentary buffet. I would have appreciated rooms for smoking and non smoking to be present, but they were not. Worth only for a nights stay. Wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

Not recommended, Lift stopped in between, no one came for 5-6 minutes, we managed to open it somehow and saved ourself. Dirty toilets, No hospitality, self service hotel. You need to take the luggage yourself to your room. I need to edit this review again as google doesn’t have option of 0 rating, in the morning everyone was complaining. Food has insects, lift banged on someone’s face. The poor hotel staff was only addressing people’s complaints. Worst ever experience I have ever come across. Dirty curtains, had a terrific experience in this hotel.

The hotel and it's location is good. But it feels like corridor air conditioning is switched off from long time and a particular odour was there in the hotel which was irritating.... Room was nice and clean... The staff was helpful... And if you are taking early morning flight from trivendrum airport, make sure you book something on previous night as ola cars are not available in early morning....

A below average experience for a hotel with two big names (Keys and Lemon tree) The reception feels very dull and the seems like the placement of the pool table was an afterthought. We were told the room is equipped with basic amenities however we had to call twice to get a set of towels The in room dining while seems nice they don't serve all the items so you will have to make do with whatever is available

Stayed 5 nights. The hotel facilities are good. The bathroom wall was glass one with curtain. All basic items provided. Iron box was available on request. Breakfast was also very good. Please note that Wifi Speed was too slow.

Keys had lost its glamour. Its more of a lodge than a hotel now. No standard look and feel now No clealiness Rooms smell of dampness Hallways smells Stay away if your purpose is to stay with family. Very bad choice.

The hotel is undergoing renovation; I did not experience any inconvenience due to it. Rooms are offered at a bargain rate. However, it was obvious that renovation was overdue for the room I stayed in. Staff are friendly and helpful. I am sure this will be a great place to stay once the renovation is completed given the brand and the location.
