The hospitality of their staff is remarkable. Coming to their food, there were only one or two dishes i didn't like - I don't think those dishes were bad, it's because all other dishes were that good. My favourite dish was the squid, i could literally taste the sea. If you close your eyes and eat the squid you can literally smell the sea and feel the seagulls fly by. All the vegetarian dishes were exquisite as well.

We had a good time at cafe jade restaurant. Good food. So delicious that we had a good dinner but the service could have been a bit better especially getting attention was something we noticed. However, the staff became friendly after we had a short conversation. Afterwards it was all good. Must try chicken chettinad and appam combination . Also, chicken noodles was mouthwatering.

Superb dining experience. Good Live songs. Tried Bruschetta which was okish, Sandwiches were superb, Pesto Pasta was good. Tiramisu was superb. Special regards to the chef for that. Food was top notch, affordable for the service. Service was top. Ting was courteous and did followup for feedback and always checked if everything was fine.

Buffet experience was pathetic. The ambience and service was good. But food:: No taste. Even the family hated like anything. No variety non veg dishes. Welcome drink, just one, was horrible. I had went to around 30 buffets across India, and frankly this is the worst . Doesn't deserve even 1 out of 5. Price is also very high... If you are a food lover, don't go. For ambience could go for a try.

These people are the best! They are consistently excellent at service and with food. Thank you so much Mr.Parthan for always checking on us and being impeccable. He is highly appreciated. I have never had anything mediocre or something that I didn't like. Everything is prepared to perfection. I love going here and I go very often. Their buffets are so worth time and money. And even a la carte is incredible!! Never miss out this place.

The restaurant offered a buffet dinner. It was an Indian buffet. Food tasted great. Staff was attentive and courteous. They spoke good English. Hence not speaking Malayalam was not an issue. However, spread was not big. Hence we felt that the price paid for the buffet was too much. Taste - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Ambience - 4 stars Value for Money - 4 stars

Luxury dining at affordable prices. Nice and calm ambience. Its a great place to dine with family and friends during occasions. The food was good especially the Mutton dishes that we had ordered. Service was excellent too.

The best cottage cheese steak in the city! Usually the veg options are very limited wherever we go, but this place was really good. The brown sauce was very tasty and the vegetables fresh. The basil pesto pasta was really good two. There is a side of two breads with it. Wonderful experience and very tasty food. Will definitely come again. The second time here. Tried the Cajun cottage cheese steak and friends tried the chicken breast. Both were good. A glass of Grover zampa wine will come to about 550 rs

We were received with such a warm welcome the minute we entered the lobby, and once the staff heard we had reservations for dinner were warmly escorted to our table. Everything looked new and clean, and seating was superb. We were served by so many friendly staff all speaking fluent English, and our main waiter Ashwin treated us like family and made sure everything was to perfection. Excellent place to meet friends and family, and we will come again!

Fantastic dining experience, i have been dining here since last week everyday. Each and every day being escalated to a better experience. The service of uttam, bipra, tarun, prakash, anupam, smiley, reshma are praiseworthy. Chef Tarun has impeccable command on desserts with excellent baking skills. Arun being an excellent manager. This I am writing voluntary after a week long stay here. I would love to stay again.

Opted for their buffet lunch. Asked for a table for two and got seated at a tiny little side table, which we disliked. The staff are friendly and service is good. There was sufficient variety, but most dishes tasted average. Not visiting Hycinth again because of all the flies on the food, especially the desserts. Told the staff, and they removed the dishes from the buffet. Overall, not a delightful experience.

One of the worst experience. Long waiting time, mosquitoes, smoke filling up the entire area (from a dish served to others). There was live music and I loved that, and the bill was also delivered quickly. The quantity of food served was good, infact a lot more than expected, but the quality/taste was not good. Edit*: Will never visit there again. Food at O by Tamara, or even Paragon restaurant group was much better.

Had a very warm and amazing experience at the Jade while dining. The person attending us, Mr.Ashwin, a friendly and experienced personnel, was very quick, knowledgeable and wonderful with the services. He made is feel very welcome and we sincerely appreciate his services to make our dining experience a wonderful one. Hycinth has been one of the premium business hotels in trivandrum with some great rooms and infrastructure. I recently had their lunch buffet from the restaurant, cafe jade, and was above average. They had some specials on the menu such as the cheese pops and seasme chicken. But most of the dishes in the menu require a real taste upgrade. The desserts are one section in which the chef really excels. There were coconut laddu, barfi, mini muffins, yoghurt, payasam, cakes and more. Each was unique and scrumptious. The hotel has a great campus and really excels in their maintenance and service.

I'm so happy with the staff and there service special thanks to the chef for making food for us specifically as i was having a fast for Navratri and i can't have the regular food. Thank you so much for doing the service from the heart and understanding. This restaurant has great service and great food too. Our waiteress, Smiley was wonderful and was very engaging throughout. We felt like we were in good hands. Would recommend this place and will definitely come here again especially if she's the one attending to us 😊

I have stayed here for a day and everything here is amazing. The staff here is so polite, helpful, professional and amazing that I can’t express it with words. At lunchtime they greeted me with big smiles on their faces and with frequent time intervals they kept asking if I needed anything. I know people will say that they have been instructed to do so but even if they are not, they will do the same. It felt like they were doing their services from their heart and not just because they had been instructed to do so. Thank you all for making my day comfortable and amazing. Also the food was very nice. They can make veg food more spicy as most of them were little sweet and spicy, they need to keep some options just as spicy.

Not worth the money spent. Hospitality was good. Chicken dumstick look like the served chicken was starved to death. It was our first visit and we are not sure if it was because of buffet time was really crowded and noisy.

We used to enjoy buffet lunches here before Covid. Last week I had caled and asked if they had lunch buffet and whoever answered it says yes and that the lunch buffet began at 12:30. My friend and I reached the place, waited for some time at Cafe Jade and there was no signs of buffet. So we left. Was a great place to dine. I miss their buffets

I would say the best dishes were the salads. The spread is okay, but the taste wasn't good. Starting from the soup i didnt like any. Salads were a saving grace. Else not worth repeating. Service, apart from Mr. Shaji, is poor. It felt understaffed and they took time to clear the tables. I guess they are more interested in the TBX bar sales than this one. Anyways will not repeat.

I just had a lunch buffet here. The menu/food was just normal without any speciality. The cafe air con wasn't working okay though I repeatedly asked them to increase the cooling. The staff lack the professional hospitality expected from star hotels. I hope they improve these factors.

Amazing food and the sea food is delicious. Would like to compliment FNB server Mr. Ashwin from the cafe. Not only is he hardworking but he readily served us with all our needs and anticipated small needs that we did not even have to mention to him like pouring us hot water and clearing plates before we got new ones. Cafe Jade excelled in service and taste. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Valentine's dinner. Both non veg and veg main course dishes were one of a kind items (no two dishes were alike). Desserts were also delectable with amazing variety. Definitely going back!

Stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The buffet breakfast was ~₹600. Very decent selection. Ask the staff for eggs done your way. The fruit juices served are sugary. You can ask the staff for fresh juices. The Indian spread was very comprehensive and well prepared. Wife ordered a dosa and was well made and just the right portion size. They dont have any bacon - but there are some cold cuts and sausages. Mr Sanjith who attended to us was very courteous, professional and quick. Only qualm is that access to a washroom is through the lobby(((

We dined here for my parents' anniversary and had a buffet and the food was delicious! Loved everything. On the buffet from spicy chicken and squid to sweet and hot chocolate pudding... We did not know that we ( my parents ) had a surprise on our way to the table. My parents were so happy when the Apuii and the staff came up to the table with a little cake and then started clapping. That moment was so precious for loved the service and how sweet the staff were. Overall it was the best hotel...
