This is literally a hole in the wall place that I feel everyone should try out. Very friendly hosts, amazing variety of cuisines and surprisingly all the dishes we ordered came out really great. We came here for dinner only due to a recommendation by another friend. The place definitely makes bad first impression as it is located in the corner of the basement of the building and from the entrance of the building to the restaurant it's a maze through the basement. Once you are in things change drastically. Once seated you are greeted and welcomed by really friendly hosts. I don't know if I just got lucky in getting that one amazingly friendly host, but he ended up helping all of us sort through the vast menu and deciding on what we should get. He showed genuine interest in understanding our needs and suggesting dishes accordingly. The food was brought in at the right order and at the right time. All food felt very fresh and super hot. Once we were done with the appetizers, thy got a change of plates and cutlery. It's these finer things and eye for detail that really makes you extremely comfortable in enjoying your great food and leave with a wish to come back. I would definitely return back to try out their sizzlers, which as per this review writing I realize is their speciality. PS: the place is in a basement. You might have an issue with any UPI payment system. You might want to carry cash or a card to make the payment.

A very good fine dining option in Kowdiar area. We have tried multiple items. Almost Everything seemed fresh and yum. They have very good options for starters and are definitely better than the main menu items. We have tried one Japanese style chicken item and chicken momos for starters and both items were so good. As for steak we chose Beef rib eye which seemed okay, both mashed potatoes and creamy corn and spinach were its accompaniments which all seemed good. As for steak sauce we chose wild mushroom sauce which was a bad idea 👎🏼 . The only total disappointment was the creamy chicken pasta which we found to be so bland.

Great space and ambience. They keep up the standards in food quality and service. The prices are justified by the satisfying dining experience.

We had Salmon pomfret in fish item. It was delicious. And also about the fried icecream - it was not so good like I had in another restaurant,but if you are having for 1st time then definitely you can try here.

Terrible restaurant..Bought onam sadhya fromhere today. They ruined the day for us ..Wanted to have onam sadhya with my parents after a long time..They charged 350 rs per sadhya .Shared below is the quatity of dishes for 1 sadhya.. Received 5 such ones. Haven't even filled the half portion of even a single container. I they don't hae stock they shouldn't have taken a booking. Why crush others happiness.. Worst experience ever..

Parking space is difficult to find, and mostly cars are parked on road side. Ordered kulcha, garlic chicken soup, tandoor chicken. Not every food on the menu is expensive but some are. Food was exceptionally tasty and satisfying. Really loved having food here. Thankyou🙂

I had a nice meal from this restaurant. The atmosphere and service was very nice at a reasonable price. We got a variety of items with the meal. Well clean and hygienic. Satisfied mind and tummy. ❤️

Loved the ambience of the place. The service was spot-on thanks to all the professional staff. Our waiter made some really apt suggestions for our dinner and it turned out to be really great! (Tried a combination against his suggestion and regretted later). You wouldn't go wrong in choosing the Imperial Kitchen for a fine dining experience.

They should rename the place to smokehouse. I understand they serve sizzlers but please work on the ventilation. Our family was sniffling and sneezing. The food was subpar for the price. If you are looking for a great place, amazing food with value for money, would recommend paragon! Skip this place if you can.

The Imperial Kitchen is a modern day restaurant with a wide array of cuisines. Of course, I came with the intention of eating something more local and was not dissapointed. We had the : 1. Porotta - Soft, flaky and hot; I would not have liked it any other way. It was such a treat to eat it with the side dish or as is! 2. Fish Moily - Soft, well cooked and well infused with spiced and coconut milk. The gravy was delish as was the fish itself. 3. Chicken Stew - Best complimented with porotta was well balanced; the chicken was cooked right and spiced right! 4. Thali - this was had by the fam and they had no complaints. 5. Nadan Mutton Roast - Good spice, but the meat was overcooked with some being overly chewy (the only reason I had to lower the ranking) All in all a great experience and a place I wouldn't hesitate for a second visit.

Today we ordered a biriyani combo for lunch from ‘Biriyani Kada by The Imperial Kitchen’ via swiggy. It is similar to a bucket biriyani, good quantity for 4people (biriyani provided in 2500ml microwave safe container). We got 7 big chicken pieces marinated in masala, cooked well, 3 fried chicken pieces, 3 roasted egg served with well-packed raita, pickle & pappadam. One of the best biriyani I had, high quality malabar chicken dum biriyani in town. I highly recommend it for a family of 4. Even my 3year old son enjoyed the meal 👍🏻. Went to their inaugration day function and tasted most of their dishes. First of all service is impeccable the staff take pride in the work and dishes they offer and it can be clearly seen in interaction with them. Had many dishes and must try ones in preferential order are as follows; 1. Beef: the beef pieces were well sauted and heavenly it was mashed and had coconut in it which is definite must try. 2. Chicken lollipop and chilli chicken were both equally good and must try dishes. Chocolate cake melted in the mouth and was heavenly. 3. Butter chicken, chicken corn soup(didn't like thaicoconut soup that much but that maybe due to personal distaste), Cajun pasta ,kashmiri pulao and bread items were all delicious and upto the normal standards. There is space for toddlers/babies; the washrooms are clean and hygienic and the conference hall lighting and space is amazing as well. Roof top dining has yet not opened so can't comment on that but hopefully that will be a bomb too.

Went to satisfy my oriental craving and may I say , I was pleasantly surprised. Manchow soup was delish. We had the chilly garlic noodles and honey sesame chicken. Spot on! Did get another serving of schezwan chicken noodles . However it was a little too over spiced for my palate, though my parents loved it. Will be back soon. And yeah excellent and very attentive staff too.

Great for team dinings! A bit pricy but the facilities and food deserves it :) People: We informed them a day before. 18 of us went to have lunch, they arranged the Banquet Hall for us. Felt like the dine in can occupy around 30+ people as the floor is customisable. Food: Starters were really good! Overall it was good as we tried Chicken, Beef, Mutton varieties. Facility : Projector was available, but as we didn't have a device, so couldn't screen share. It's better to bring a laptop (HDMI) if you wanna do! Management: Welcoming!! This place is very calm and nice for a date or an office gathering. Customer service was very nice. The Imperial kitchen is a little bit luxurious we can say the same goes with the price also. I ordered chicken Tonkatsu as a starter. It was very good and filling. The sauce they provided with it was also nice. Their Alfredo chicken Pasta was amazing. It was the first time I had a proper pasta from Kerala.

Nice ambience.. nice food.. went on Independence day and had their special Tri colour dishes.. Each one of them was spectacular.. except some technical service glitches and delays, everything else was spot on..

Order of the day Tandoori chicken Half Chicken Steak Schezwan Chicken Noodles American Chopsy Parotta Tandoori Chicken - Super hot, fresh and great tasted chicken with mint sauce and pickled onions. Great dish loved it. Chicken Steak- Well the flavour was lacking here and there and the rice was undercooked. Could have been better. Schezwan ChickenNoodles- Super spicy Noodles with egg and chicken, but there was less quantity of Chicken. Taste was up to the mark. American Chopsy - Since I love the dish with a little on spicy side I didn't like the dish, I was only able to feel the sweetness in the dish. Could have been better. Parotta - Great fluffy parotta, you could have it without any sides. The service and ambiance was great, the food prep time was also good. Overall a great place to have food with friends and family.

Had an amazing dinner here with my family. From soup and starters to dessert, everything tasted amazing. We had lamb soup, pandan chicken and honey glazed chicken for starters. Pandan chicken tasted delicious. Chicken sizzler was good. Chicken hakka noodles was classy. Their appam and pomfret pollichathu were mouth watering. The star of the dinner was fruit salad with ice-cream. It was equal parts crunchy with nuts, corn flakes and tutty-fruity and equally creamy with the melt in the mouth ice cream. Overall a superb experience

We visited the location for dinner, called up for an appointment but were told we could walk in. The location does not have a huge frontage. It's in the basement. The service was absolute, water was charged on the mug every 5 minutes. Food was good and fresh. Takes 20 minutes to serve, but worth the wait

The courtesy, service and friendliness of staff is excellent. Food served was cold, especially beef steak !!! The kebab platter ordered was cold too. Garnishing of platter was good though. Above is based on FIRST visit, hence cannot be considered a holistic experience.

Easily one of the best restaurant properties in Trivandrum. Parking is sufficient in the evening counting the vacant areas in the road too. Not sure about day time when the nearby school is open. The ambience, property location and the hype created by social media efforts, walkie talkie weilding staff etc. justify the price point which is premium to similar restaurants. Service is good and staff behave conscious of the need to maintain the level expected though our soup took some time. However food does not have any 'wow' factor as reviewed by some. Of the order given on date, indonesian prawn clear soup was disappointing (not rich and had non edible flavouring ingredients). Quick fried chicken in garlic sauce did not live upto the fried tag (better call it chicken tossed in garlic sauce). Erachi ularthiyathu was good and authentic kottayam version. Penang sea food rice had a good 'sea' flavour but the squid in was a bit stale. Kids will like the 'Only oreo' shake but its at par with the common juice shop. All in all a good place for an evening with improvements needed on the food side(the actual purpose of the property if you keep away the hype and branding).

Tried their new property at Kowdiar. Good ambience, calm atmosphere. Nice place for family get together. Quality, quantity and service of food is excellent. Capacity is limited compared to the other branch.
