Had a horrible experience at Alibaba. Even without much rush we had to wait for 45 minutes to get porotta and meen mulakittath. When it finally came I was confused whether i ordered meen mulakittath or meen oil il ittath. It was completely filled with oil and the fish was also half cooked. It was like eating raw fish.

I have been to this place 3 years back. It wasn't the best experience back then as well. But had a really worst one this time. The portion size of the quarter barbeque chicken was so less that we had to literally stay hungry even after that. No bread is provided with it. And when asked for butter naan since khubbus was not available there, they served a really bad one, tasting spoilt oil. Besides all this, the staff who served us was unnecessarily rude! Really bad service and then they didn't even bother wasting our time even to get us the bill. Not going back there at any cost and won't recommend the place.

Great location, good food, abysmal potion sizes and worst service. 1. The waiter was outright rude. He displayed it every once he had to look up from his phone to serve us. 2. I don’t know where they source their chicken from, but they succeed in sourcing the smallest ones possible. We bought quarter barbecue chicken. What we got was about 1/8th of a normal sized chicken. Nadan mutton soup was okayish, butter naan smelled like used vegetable oil, and about quarter of the tea cup was filled with tea powder. This place is the ghost of Alibaba restaurant in cochin. Don’t go there expecting to get a good dine in experience. Cons: do I say more? Pros: they have kept an old front engine autorickshaw prop inside as a decorative piece. It’s nice.

Alibaba and 41 dishes, I visited this place during my December vacation and I was disappointed. Especially about the costumer service. employees there were not at all customer friendly. About the food. We didn't have a whole lot of choices, but just the usual thing. We had porotta, chicken chilli, ghee rice and some other chicken recipe which I don't remember. About the taste It was all ok ok and was not as expected. May be because our timing was not correct. When ordered for other dishes they said it will be available only at 7 pm.

Ordered Malabar dum biriyani and fish tawa fry.. biriyani was gud and tawa fry kinda was not as gud as expected as they recommend the dish we had high hopes ..turend out masalas were overly dominating. was not crowded as it used to be .. Prices were reasonable.

Ordered seafood platter as advised by waiter . He told me its enough for 4 pax as it's heavy. But actually it's good for 2 pax only. Felt quantity was less and overpriced. Mussels was not available in platter. Food was good . Overall ok.

Good place to spend time with your family and friends...the ambiance is really good and they have a huge seating capacity..The staff are also very friendly..they have a huge fish tank when you enter and a photo spot...they have vallet parking facility... We have been to this place many times and none of our visit was disappointed...each time we tried their new dish it was really tasty..the price is also reasonable...my overall experience was very nice 👍

Went around 12 when there was no crowd at all and we were able to park comfortably. Usually, when we see from outside there are more cars there than this place can handle. The place is spacious, service is good. We had asked for an extra egg to be put in the egg fried rice and they did not seem to get it and while serving when we asked about it, the person said, no extra sir only correct portion. 😐 Tried the meals, egg fried rice and honey glazed beef. The honey glazed one was more spicy than sweet, but it was good. The meat could have been more tender. The meals were good, the rice portion may seem less, but it's actually filling. The restrooms and handwash was maintained well. Kids enjoyed their small aquarium and the auto they kept inside. There is good space for them to move around.

Good experience. Tasty food especially the seafood dishes here are must try. Prices are bit on the higher side but worth it. Tried the sea food platter which cost 1600 includes squid 2 size prawns , one king fish steak and a full fish, all tawa fried. Service needs to improved. The tawa fries were extremely spicy and when we expressed this, they were like "yes it's spicy" and did nothing about it. We had a vegetarian member in the group she ordered paneer Manchurian and got chicken Manchurian instead. When we complained they replaced the dish but never even bothered to apologize. Mushroom babycorn saut is a must try starter.

Very clean and good ambience. The food tasted great and was well cooked, with really well seasoning. The kanthari fish tasted great and had a good quantity. The beef udichatu was a bit dry and could be better. Their chicken fry is very succulent and tasted amazing,must try.

Visited the restaurant for lunch, after a long time. I had to talk to multiple people to check if the ac was working or the temperature can be adjusted as I was sweating inside the restaurant. After around 10 min, finally they agreed the ac was having issue and allotted a different location, which was better, but still warm. The service was also quite bad. Waiter took a long time to take the order. There was no tissue paper on our table, and water was also not served on the new table.

The staff is very helpful and warm. They guide to make good food choices. We loved the food here especially seafood. We have visited here more than once. Surely recommended for all seafood lovers.

We went as a family of 5 to enjoy their highly advertised menu for the seafood festival. I have to say it was a bitter disappointment. Even the ambience was a let down as the live music was too loud; the waiter could hardly hear our order. Speaking of whom, he had no idea what kind of fish was used in one of their dishes. He looked at us weirdly as though we weren't supposed to ask that question. We were ready to forgive all this if the food was good. After all, that was what we came for. Imagine our plight when we discovered that not even basic cleaning was done for the shellfish (prawns and mussels). Even the usually simple enough sweet corn chicken soup was ridiculously salty. The fish tikka (King fish) was cold and we even felt the fish had gone bad. The sea food platter (costing ₹850!!) consisted of king fish (to be fair, this was good), prawns, squid and mussels. As I mentioned earlier, the cleaning of prawns and mussels was not proper, and the preparation was basically a concoction of a load of chilly powder. So much in fact one of my family members fell sick late night. Alleppey fish curry was decent, but for the amount of money it cost (₹820!!) it was nothing to write home about. The cherry on top was the lime soda, which came without any fizz. I mean, how do you screw up that?!! In the end, we ended up spending 3000+ bucks on bad food, lousy service and an ambience that evoked headache only to end up being sick. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Two thumbs down.

Chicken Cornfit Mexican Rice was the new dish introduced by Mr Sanoop was so good both the presentation and taste.It was different from the normal dishes that i had tired…I highly recommend this for everyone who likes to try out new food taste.

The place was kind of crowded, not sure if it was because it's Christmas or because it's peak hours on a Sunday. And judging by the people waiting there, there will be quite a bit of waiting time depending on what you order. The food was decent, the butter chicken wasn't that great, but the dragon chicken was pretty good and spicy. The place is kept clean, the crowd kind of ruins the ambience. The staff though are always busy and may not necessarily tend to you, leading to longer wait times. You really don't want to see them busy on their own phones, when they should be attending to customers.

Ordered mix platter based on reviews and many YouTube videos but regretted it instantly. it was served cold and was tasteless. Kebabs were dry to point that it just felt like crumbs. None of the grills in the platter was good. But the Ambience is really good and place is kept really clean.

Total disappointment. Ordered Raan Biriyani and Kunaf. Raan biriyani was over cooked and smoked badly. We specifically explained to serve hot Kunaf, however it was cold and not tasty at all.. service was totally poor though in the end they apologized for the bad experience.

Nice Restaurant and good ambience. The taste and quality of food is not upto the mark. But Alibaba Dry Fried Lamp is a great one and have to taste atleast once when you go there. Except that all other dishes that we ordered spoiled all our expectations. The prawn in the Assorted Mix Platter smelled like hell , I dint had such a waste prawn ever in my life. The dishes were over cooked and tasted bitter. The customer service is too good. The Air Conditioner stopped working after the 5 th min we started eating the food. We were literally sweating while on dinner. The restaurant authorities dint took any action on the A/C issue and dint even responded properly when we informed the issue.
