Perfectly spicy perfectly cooked. A little pricy for quantity but it's worth the quality. Only 8 spots are available so you might have to wait. It's well cooked unlike the chewy mutton in the city area

One of the classic restaurants in Thiruvananthapuram serving authentic mutton dishes. The Mutton Biriyani here is super tasty. Ordered along side Mutton Chaps, a must try place. It is to keep in mind that the restaurant is attached to their slaughter house.

Had a great time dining from here. This place is known exclusively for mutton dishes in local style hence decided to try it out. I had ediappam, orotti and mutton curry from here. The mutton curry was the best one I had in recent times. It was so good. One concern I felt was the non availability of tea. When we asked for a tea the waiting told us that they do not serve tea here. Apart from that one other concern is the lack park in ng space and space inside the restaurant. Service was good Kudos to the waiter.

The place has refreshed itself into a new face. Renowned for it's fresh mutton dishes. A mutton biriyani costs ₹180 Though the food in terms of taste not up to the mark of past times.

An old small eatery right at Karamana Junction. Serves some of the best Mutton dishes, marrow, orotti etc. Mutton extremely soft and curries are quite flavorful. Space is limited, clean. However, the butchery is done at front of shop, might be difficult for some. Parking is difficult, you might have to park away and walk up. Rates are similar to the area. Friendly staff.

This restaurant is located at Karamana junction, hence parking will be a headache if you're in four wheeler. The dine in space is so small can only accommodate 8-10.Separate space for family is available at top, not sure about seats. Butchery is done right in front of hotel, you can buy raw meat as well. And about the food nothing much to say the place is renowned for it's mutton dishes, just go for it!

Kochannan in renovation mode Mutton dishes, one of the delicacies of the capital .. The abundance of essence in the rice made me want to eat that small amount of rice with three small mutton pieces. Since I didn't have the money to buy the mutton dishes for the second time, I bought the second salad and finished the rice with it. Anyway, I did not like the new look .. Mutton biryani. 180

Mistaken for original Kochannan's, which is located on the narrower inner road to Karamana. ( It is a small shoap with no sign board on the first side road on the left to the road to karamana) Original Kochannan is famous for their non veg items, especially mutton dishes. This look alike is a terrible experience as far as food is concerned. Everything is too spicy and hot so that you will never get the real taste of the dish. Cost is also on the higher side.

Had mutton biriyani and mutton perattu.. biriyani costs 200/- but it is really value for money ..taste is good.. perattu was great but as it was lunchtime, couldn't get porotta or other bread items to have it with.. parking could be an issue and place offers limited seating but place is neat

Couldn’t try the mutton fry. The perrattu was mild and semi sweet with a hint of pepper. Went really well with the softest appam we had recently. Will go back again in the evenings

One of the Best Mutton Biriyani Spot inside City. Parking can be bit problem. They served Only Mutton Items, If you go with any non-mutton eater, there's no option in Menu. They don't have any Veg or Chicken Options. We tried their Mutton Biriyani, for the Price of ₹ 200, Quantity was bit low. Tasty. Dishes were served in Banana Leaf. In ground floor, Only 8 People can eat at a time, there's a family room on the 1st floor, there 16 people can eat. Congested. They also have Bread items like Parotta, Pathiri, Idiyappam and Meals option.

Come here for one of the best non veg breakfasts in Thiruvananthapuram. Only mutton dishes available here. Savour with orottis, parottas and idiyappams. Butcher Shop also right outside in case you wish to replicate the dishes at home.

Superb mutton only shop, they cut the mutton at the entrance to the place. Shifted to this new place from the adjacent place. Mutton roast (perattu) and mutton fry are legendary, parota /oratti (rice roti) /dosa are top quality

I went with colleagues from office hoping to try out their multiple mutton varieties but unfortunately they didn't have porotta and only means and biriyani was available. So we opted for the biriyani which was good and the mutton roast was a bit sweet. Overall the food was really good.

Nostalgic space, as many would have brought here enthusiastically by their dad, uncles, or elders. They still make delicious mutton dishes here. They started serving in 1946, and the food is still a merry nostalgic. Love the spicy hot mutton curry and sweety roast. The mutton biryani is another classic.

Good yummy food. Awesome space for mutton lovers. I better suggest to dine in rather than taking parcels. Not because the quality of the food is less while takeaway it's just to enjoy hot mutton roast in a better way.

Superb food. Variety of non veg curries and dishes. Traditional cooking techniques and recipes. Would recommend everyone to visit and try out their very own diverse menu. The mutton dishes are exceptionally great. Above all one of the best restaurant to try out in the capital with your family.

One of the best places to eat mutton biriyani, chops, curry, roast, and even soup. The dishes have the natural taste that everytime anybody would eat there the taste would be the same. It is delicious, tasty and mouth watering food. The restaurant is small but the food they serve and the taste will make you go there and eat again.
