Nice place to spend time with family and kids in the evening with the breezy sea winds and night views of the sea. But no proper Boundaries for the sea in the night time as there is no lights too. apart from this many are enjoying the Beautiful and lovely Wall arts. Arts are really beautiful and realistic even in night time... Also there is small playing area for kids and seating for adults. Nice memories with my family.

Today I went to KOVALAM SAMUDRA PARK owned by SAMUDRA BEACH RESORT (GoK undertaking, KTDC). Location : Near Udaya Samudra Resort and Taj Resort Kovalam Vibe : It's a perfect place for enjoying a nice evening. From Children's play area to Small Beach , the whole park will be a good destination. | Entry is free of cost ! | Description : It has a water fountain with neatly decorated pebbles. And a cafeteria with toilet facilities ( under construction) The mural painting on the wall along with the solar powered light tower makes the park both Aesthetic and Modern. Geography: At first u will see a Banyan Tree in front of the park making the park hard to find. Left side - Children's park with a large turf made ground for children's safety, which is impressive. The walls are studded with mountains climbing steps. The main areas was built like a stage. I Hope after the pandemic, many programmes will be conducted here. Cafeteria comes at the left side of park along side the gateway of SAMUDRA BEACH RESORT. Then there is steps to access the beach, alongside a stone hill too.. View : Excellent view from the top of the Rock hill. You can see the lighthouse from there. Perfect place for photography. Ambience : The yellow lights, the green grass, the grey stone used in pillors and stairs, the pebbled water fountain, the mural paintings on walls along with spot lights and the greenish blue sea in the background makes the place a wonderful host. Parking : Enough space for 4 wheelers and 2 wheeler. Cons : 1) No street light from main road to park 2) No proper Name board on main road find it hard to reach. 3) Beach and the nearby area is very polluted with trash. Distance : 11kms from EastFort Bus stop

A small park that is full of wall arts and is very neatly maintained. It is on the beach and is usually always empty. It is so close to the beach that if the sea is rough, water can easily get to the park.

Calm and quite beach unlike the other beaches in kovalam(hawa beach,lighthouse beach). The renovated park in the beach is a good one to take your kids so that they get to see the beach as well as play in the park, the architecture and the wall paintings are very appealing and photogenic,there is a security present in the park all the time and also a cafe setup is also there, which is to be operated by ktdc but not operational yet.few drawbacks are that there are very less number of seats for the visitors, and the toilet is closed most of the times.

This beach is secluded and clean as well, offering beautiful views, some privacy and separate access from several luxury resorts that line the beach. Sunsets are worth a watch.

I have stayed at this property with my family members and had great time. Delicious vegetarian food, Serene atmosphere and great location. Property is very well maintained. It’s surrounded by mountains and lush green vegetation. Early morning view and sunset view is something I really liked. They do have some fun activities such as chit chat sessions during the evening and bonfire 🔥 at 7 pm. Every staff member is helpful and kind in nature. They treat all their guests with great respect. Great hospitality! If given a chance I will stay here everytime I visit this place. Thank you

Beautiful beach and not very crowded. Sea was a bit rough when we went there so we have to be careful. They have a beach aprk nearby where we can sit and enjoy the beauty. It is decorated with wall arts and is well maintained. Kids have a small park also inside this . Adults can sit and enjoy the scenic beauty from within the park, sunset view is awesome.

Very peaceful and calm place. This beach isnt much crowded like other beaches in Kovalam. Mainly this beach has the guests of the hotels nearby which are premium hotels. Very neat and clean beach. I was here for three days and a walk in the beach in the morning is a wonderful experience. You can also watch men fishing at this beach in the morning. Its a must to see. The tides are really strong in the evening and the restaurants nearby provides you with table near to the beach. So you can enjoy the beach and have food. Its a beautiful place :)
