Best place to hang out with family and friends.Peaceful and calm. Best places to enjoy view and not so crowded with visitors, can also enjoy even if you're alone.But there is no shade and it is littered with waste which reduce the beauty of the beach. Good ambience. If you go there don't throw waste there please!! overall it's an awesome place

It is very fantastic beach, smaller one but good n clean instead of Koalam, koalm has huge crowd, very Good Sun set view is here, you can enjoy with your Family and friends. Avoid swimming as it is sharpen beach. Enjoy ☺️

Visited this beach in the afternoon.A calm ,clean and beautiful one, to enjoy with ur loved ones.A good place to visit to spend n weekends or evening with friends or family.We can spend here peacefully , as it is less crowded than other beaches. No lifeguards present. There are some eateries and shops near the beach, where visitors can enjoy local delicacies. Thumba Beach is located close to Kazhakoottam. Parking for 4 wheelers limited might need to park on the main road side, depending on the crowd .i did like❤️ ths beach 👍😊

Very nice ambience... Its near kazhakoottam town.. better to visit evening time.. can see a pleasant view of sunset... A family friendly beach where you can come with children.. A vast beach where there's remnants of old ship... Local police guards will be there in evenings... There's a small snack shop in beach where you can avail tea,cool drinks and snacks which is lighted beautifully... appropriate Parking space is not there.. We have to park vehicles on the sides of beach way... There are benches on shore where you can sit calm and enjoy ambience.... One of best experienced beach.. a good place to spend your evening !

A nice quiet peaceful beach. I usually go in the evenings just to sit and admire the sea Less crowded on most days. If you go in the mornings you will get to see fishermen bring in their catch from the sea. Evening's are good. A lot of options for a good snacks or tea near the beach. Limited parking near the beach. Better to park somewhere else and come walking. Only downside is that people tend to litter the place

Nice beach. But waves are always quite aggressive and the beach is in a slanting position towards the sea.

It's a nice and quiet beach. Perfect for family evening getaways and for couples. There is only one small cafe and some small shopss

Beach is not clean. Litters 🚯 everywhere. There is a lot can improve this place as an evening get away. DTPC or local bodies can take action for improvisation and development. Approx 5kms from Kazhakootam (on the way to Menamkulam)

Beautiful Beach! Nice place to go in the evening with Family or hangout with Friends. Less crowded, calm & quite. Facilities are limited or can say 'Nil'. Couldn't find any security personnel or Life guards. Parking is limited, especially for 4 wheelers.

Nearest beach to kazhakoottam and beach view and shores are good. Road towards beach from costal highway(around 50 metre) is too narrow and auto stand also there. So better to visit on two wheeler. Otherwise need to park on kazhakoottam road. No shops near to beach , some trolley food stalls available . Also, a small kids play area there but that also got demolished and not restored.

in my trivandrum days thumba beach is one of the best beach, everyday morning i was morning walk & exercise here, & evening time local people, fisherman & young boys play sports & enjoy the beach in a very natural way. here are no other facilities like restaurant or park, but local people around thumba beach very friendly & simply. you can enjoy evening quality time with family here. you can say it's family friendly beach.

A nice calm and beautiful beach. We can spend the evening peacefully there as it is less crowded than other beaches. No lifeguards are present there. But most of the evening some policemen will be there. Parking for 4 wheelers limited might need to park on the main road side.

Open beach, safe and comfy space...but need a shower after getting out on beach

It is a good beach to enjoy with ur loved ones. I recently visited the beach with my friends. There are snack stores nearby. After 7, people are not allowed to step near waves due to security reasons. There is a restaurant near the beach, so that , those who are with family can also have food. Anyway, the place is good.

This beach will always be close to heart. Maybe the sunset may not be the best view...but the colors in the sky set a different vibe. We feel like some artist is drawing the sky.

Thumba beach is a small but nice experience. First time I see how to catch fish through boat. This place also play football and jogging . And fresh fish available here .

There is one children's park but it's damaged due to the natural calamity, u will not get heavy food but get ice creams hot & cold drinks and snaks, no entry fee and entry pass Nice ambience and silent place u can watch beautyful sunset weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) large nbr of peoples coming for watching sunset

Now this place is new less crowded beach area in Trivandrum. with few good cafes. A good place for a weekend hangouts beachhills cafe is bery decent in space atmosphere and in food.

It is a nice beach but we have made it dirty. Plastic bottles, covers and other things can be seen here and there. This would be a great beach if it weren't for these filth.

The ambience is nice over there. We had Alfahm, mojitos and tea from there except the honey Alfahm all the other items are just average. It took more than 30 minutes to just prepare a tea. Seems like they are short on staffs.

Anyone can enjoy the beach in a very natural way. There are no other facilities and recreation centre or park, there is a damaged children's rider, but easy approach road to the beach

A good calm and beautiful beach. Evening can be spent peacefully as the rush compared to other beaches is less. Lifeguards were not present during my visit. So please take care of yourself and the belongings.

Best place for a peaceful evening not very crowded, beach isn't well developed but can have a nice walk or happy time for children,, a good cafe and local vendors selling juice maggi are present,, car parking space is not too good,, may get crowded only in any local festival holidays, beware of the waves 🌊 and no life guards available, police officers will visit the area very often so is a safe place

We went at 7.30 am. It is peaceful and dint feel any safety issue. Lot of fishing activity going on in one side. Not that clean

It 'was' a good place. Now in the name of modernization losing its cleanliness. Good for morning walk and good for spending evening with family, friends and for lovers too..

Parking is an issue, even if you are going in bike it will be difficult. Seashore is a good stretch to walk, sunset is also nice to watch.. Local presence is high and staring at ladies is common
