The Jatayu Earth Centre is a beautiful installation on top of a hill. The sculpture of the mythical bird Jatayu is brilliant and the views from atop the hill is breath taking. The park is well maintained. Offers ample amount of parking sace. The cable car ride is also a good experience. Having said all these, the ticket charges are quite high. They charge around 200 Rs for entry and another 250 for the cable car ride. This is weird because people cannot enter the park on top by any means other than the cable car. The museum (advertised) that is supposed to exist inside the sculpture is not functioning. There are no other attractions either. An arcade gaming area for kids is present - but is quite basic. Not sure if the centre has enough attractions to warrant a trip to the place itself. However, if you are on the way on MC Road or are visiting other places near by, it is a good place to be (if you are okay to shell out 500 bucks).

At the onset, I need to mention that my 3-star rating is only based on the "value of experience". The place as such is fantastic and I highly recommend it. If you're fit enough and with proper footwear, skip the cable lift car and trek to the top (1,200 ft climb). Will take you a good 45-60 mins though. Pros: 1. Fantastic sculpture carved out of rock. It's worth seeing. 2. The view from the top... Wow! The view of the greenery of the land all around you is amazing. 3. Pleasant weather at the top since there's wind blowing all the time. Even though it's hot down, it gets cooler at the top. Cons: 1. Pricey. I get it that this has been an expensive investment but tickets need to be charged based on what we are receiving. An entrance ticket and a cable lift car ride will set you back ₹500 per person. And that doesn't include a guided tour or entrance into the sculpture (which was anyway under construction). That's expensive for just viewing a sculpture. 2. Cash only. Considering the volume of visitors, including foreigners, I'm surprised they're not set up to take credit cards. 3. The cable lift car had issues on the way back and we had to wait. This may have been a one-off temporary incident but nevertheless, it happened. The place is still being built up so in a couple of years, there will be more attractions to see. Unfortunately, each of those will also be charged separately. However, I may make another trip in a few years to see it again.

Best place with pleasant and peaceful surroundings. Well and clean maintained. Recommend to visit bit a early in the morning. We have a good viewpoint. Have the option to take a ride in a rope car, or we have around 800 steps where we take around 30-45 minutes to climb up and around 15-20 minutes to climb down. We have a Rama temple up there and canteen for snacks or food. Plastics items and food are strictly prohibited.

Very nice place. Although ticket rate is higher, the experience that we get here is worth the money.Well behaviour from staff. Few constructions are still in progress so once it's all complete, again it will be more great place to see. There is a cable car or ropeway to reach the hill top. Jatayu sculpture is so amazing to see. There is also a very nice view of the lush greenery from the hilltop. Plastic is prohibited, so make sure not to carry it. Car parking facility is available.

Fantastic sculpture carved out of rock. It's worth seeing. The view from the top... Wow! The view of the greenery of the land all around you is amazing. Pleasant weather at the top since there's wind blowing all the time. Even though it's hot down, it gets cooler at the top. Cable car ride was amazing, sufficient parking available, wheelchair friendly. Ignore going in high temperature days as there's minimum shelter at the top.

One of the best managed public attraction places. In fact right from the entry till you exit the premises it’s managed so well, from parking, queues for tickets and post the tickets seating arrangements for getting into the cable cars and above all the friendly staff to look after each one of you. Best thing is there is no plastics anywhere in the shops or the cafeteria at the premises at the top or the bottom at the valley, no disposable cups or bottles. The sculpture and the premises are maintained very well and the once the 6D theatre is operational there will be better rush here and experience for tourists. The sculpture is amazing and the feast that it has been under construction for a long time is new to me. Overall the experience is really good with the chilled lime water and snacks served at the top of the hill a good day spent for the family.

Must visit place near Trivandrum. Very well maintained. Was open till 6 pm on weekends. At 5:30 pm, walk option was closed, just the cable car option was open. Drinking water, toilets available before entry. It costed around Rs 800 post for exceeding safe lint water.

Amazing sculpture on the top of the hill, looking very nice. Can visit with families also, the entry pass charges 250 per person. We can reach there by rope way or by steps. Rope way is better option, which charges 250/person. We have to wait sometime but the arrangements are good. No things were take with us, plastic bottles, or other snacks items, there is strictly checking were done. Almost good atmosphere, cool ambience. Nice experience to everyone.

The place is beautiful and well-maintained, but I recommend visiting late in the afternoon to avoid the heat. The sculpture is a marvelous piece of art and the view from top is mesmerizing. The museum is yet to open. We reached the top after 11am and found it too hot to stand in the sun for long. It's also important to note that there are no options for digital payments at the entrance, so be sure to bring cash. The cable car experience was good and provided stunning views of the surrounding area. Overall: The place is beautiful and worth visiting, but be sure to bring cash and plan your visit during the evening hours of the day.

We had paid a visit to Jadyau earth centre recently post corona (2022) ; the park is well maintained, good view from the park and also a provide lot of outdoor activities(with added charges). The sculpture is definitely gorgeous. I felt the entry fee is quite expensive- ticket charge 500/head(250 entry + 250 Cable car) (7$) (as of 2022 Apr) and they even charge for kids who are above 90 cm. You are not getting any value for spending this money as this is just to enter the park.

What a view!! Now its open for public. But vaccination certificate is mandatory at least a single dose. Huge parking slot, very clean area with perfect infrastructure. Most amazing thing is Cable car, awesome drive to the top. Entry ticket rate is Rs 200 and cable car fee is 250 per person plus tax. Senior citizens have 10% discount. Now only cable car entry possible, no helicopter and walking facilities permitted. Amazing view from the top, Jadayu sculpture looks awesome, Sreerama temple and Rama foot mark are amazing to see. Lime juice available in the top. They won't allow food and big bags to carry with u. So keep small bags and water for your need. Entry and exit through only cable cars.

Must visit place. A fantastic place, the Sculpture of Jatayu is amazing It was one of the calmest places I have ever visited. Good climate, the cable car ride was good touch instead of climbing stairs. Hot and cold drinking water is provided on the top of the venue, we had to use the cable car which is very safe and convenient Place is neatly maintained just like an airport. Helicopter ride facility is yet to start after Covid. Excellent Place to spend time with family. After visiting sculpture, fun play zone is available for kids including 6D mini show. There is a small temple as well, and plenty of adventure activities, unfortunately,

Jatayu Earth's Centre in Kerala, India, is a unique and captivating tourist destination. The massive sculpture of Jatayu, the mythical bird from the Ramayana, is a remarkable sight. The panoramic views from the top offer a breathtaking experience. The adventure activities like rock climbing and trekking add excitement. However, it's essential to check recent reviews for the current state of facilities and maintenance. Overall, a visit to Jatayu Earth's Centre promises a blend of mythology, adventure, and scenic beauty.

Please visit either in the morning by 9.30 or after 4.30 in the evening. Morning much to see other than Jatayu's sculpture which is very good. There are many game arcades and other fun activities for kids which are good. Also on quick snacks/drinks are very good and well maintained. Plan to travel via rope car and avoid walking. There is a helicopter service which cost around 2.5k per head but might need to wait after informing the same at the counter. Enjoy sight seeing with family and friends.

Lovely place Definitely a must visit.. You can enjoy with your family. Very sunny out there. So carry sun screen and umbrella if going on noon time. I will recommend to go on evening so you can enjoy the sunset too. There is a temple too inside. A museum which was not open when I went there. Photographers definitely go... You can take lots of memorable pics there Only neg : it's very costly. Price is almost 250 with tax and for entering the cable car another 200+ so I didn't find it good to charge do much There is a jungle trail which is 1 km. You can hike if you want. But you will exhausted in the scorching sun. My view : enjoy 🌅 and have lots of fun time

I had the pleasure of visiting Jatayu Earth's Centre with my friends. Despite encountering the weather conditions initially, we decided to wait until the skies cleared to experience the rope car, and the wait is totally worth. The view from the top was so beautiful. The cost for the rope car and entry is 499 per person, a reasonable expense for best experience. As we approached Jatayu, the close-up view was truly beautiful, we have spend a 2 hours capturing moments with our cameras. I totally recommend this place, and from my perspective, it deserves a perfect 10/10 rating. The overall experience was not only enjoyable but also a unique and beautiful, a must-visit location.

It's a majestic statue in the centre of the hill. The landscape is beautiful and the views are stunning. There is a cable car service taking you to the top of the hill. You can also take the stairs but the cable car ride is a nice experience in itself. Tickets cost you about 500 for both entry and cable car. Must visit if you're in Kerala.

One of the great bird 🦅 structure you seen in India 🇮🇳. Planning for a one day tour with kids and family it's really worth it . ₹200 for entry and ₹200 something for rope transfer to reach the rock 🪨. There are steps too , if your are planning for a trekking please contact with the office people . Jatyu based story Theme museum also available . There is also a small temple available if your planning for pilgrimage. An open space for conducting programs available. You ill find a 5D theatre 🎭 for real experience near ticket counter. Coffee/tea , snacks available at the top .

The Jatayu sculpture is unique and beautiful. The people behind really deserve an appreciation. The place is maintained clean. The scenic beauty from the top along with the sunset is really enjoyable. The entry fee of Rs.200+ seems to be on a higher side considering that the sculpture can simply be viewed from outside and all the faculties inside are closed mentioning work in progress. Only cash was accepted which will be practically difficult for foreigners and larger groups since it costs around Rs.500 per head. Additional info: 1. Drinking water and toilet facilities available 2. One way rope car facility to come back 3. Kids above 90cm needs full ticket 4. Wheelchair accessible 5. Enough car parking 6. Zip line 7. Game zone near exit 8. Tea and simple snacks available on top station and ground 9. Outside food (except baby food ) and packaged drinking water not allowed. Flasks and reusable bottles are allowed.

It's a nice experience. You must go there once... The view from the top is breathtaking... you can also visit the Sri Ramakrishna temple and do offerings. But I think the rate is a bit high.. entry fee was Rs.295 and Rs 315 or something for the cable car. You can also go to the top by walking but still have to pay the entrance fee. Also you can do adventure activities which are separately payable. Overall nice experience.

The place is a melange of Myth, History, Nature and Art. The access road from Jatayu Junction is superb and well maintained. Once at the reception we are given instructions in maintaining the cleanliness of the places and warnings on the wild monkeys in the area. Gaming arena for kids is available at the premises. The entry fee is quite stiff but there are discounts for senior citizens and young children. There are 826 steps to the top. It would really be worth it but we did not risk the hot sun. The Centre may let in visitors from 0600 hrs instead of 1000 hrs so that they can enjoy the climb. The cable car is pleasant and fast; quite expensive too and there will be a stoppage during the ride to capture wonderful pictures. There are a few snack and beverages counter. The trip in the cable car offers great views of the surroundings. Once at the top, we can walk around the sculpture and read the plaques describing various points in the history of the development of the tourist spot. Kindly keep your belongings with yourself as there is no cloakroom. NOTE : Zipline is unavailable due to Covid-19

Entry fees 200 + gst Cable car 250+ gst Total per person 531 Rs Timing till 6 pm Ample parking space Under current circumstances cable car is mandatary. Also it is one of a kind of experience. Jatayu earth center is one of the best tourist attraction. It is a modern day marvel as you can really appreciate the architecture brilliance and the scenic beauty which is mesmerizing. Still work is in progress as they have museum rope climbing..trekking.. Pond.. Water sports.. Rock climbing etc yet to be open for tourist.. There are 3D rides and videos games and other attraction for kids. Food is permitted but its better you do not take it as there are monkeys on the top and plus we need to keep the place clean and pretty.. also you can get soft drinks tea and snack at the top, restaurants are not yet open.. They have helipad ride as well but right now no service.

A good hilltop view point. The entry fee is 500 rs which is very expensive compared to what we have to see here. The bird sculpture is really amazing and the views from top are good. You get to the top of the hill by cable car, so it is also a good experience for those who have never been in one. Apart from this there is not much. Cafes are available for refreshments. While coming back down there is a small game zone but there are tickets for each. It's quite sunny here so better to go in the evening.

Nice place to spend a wonderful time. The Jatayu stone sculpture is one of its kind and there is a small temple that was recently renovated. The view from the hill top is good. The cable car ride is okay. Parking space, cleanliness and how well they maintain it is really appreciable. Better to visit there before 10AM or After 3 PM. The entry fees and cable car ride fee is separate. Cant be specific about the rates, since they are increasing it every 3-4 months. People who opt to take the walk way need to climb the mountain for nearly 1 KM. Note: But do not expect more. Just go with peace of mind and enjoy the moment.

The Jatayu Earth's Center is the name of the adventure and Nature park where the Jatayu statue is located. This is also the base where you can purchase tickets for the adventure park, the sculpture, the helicopter ride and the ropeway. Also this is the starting point of the hike to the sculpture. There are 3 ways to the statue- hiking, cable car or the helicopter. Each activity requires separate tickets. Tickets can only be purchased at the base so be mindful before heading up. Its better to book tickets in advance as the lines may be long. There are small restaurant at the top. Outside food and drinks are not allowed. It gets quiet hot in the afternoon so carry caps.

Such a beautiful piece of art! The place was well maintained and the staff was doing great job with enforcing mask-up rules. We couldn't venture inside the museum ( which is inside the statue) since it was closed due to covid regulations. You have an option to either hike or ride via cable car to reach the top. They do have adventure sports like zip lining, rock climbing etc, but were closed due to covid. This place should be on your must visit destination if you're anywhere nearby.

The place is well maintained. They have a cable car service to reach the top. If you want to walk, it's roughly 1 km. The ticket price might seem high, 250+ entry and another 250+ for the cable car. But considering the way it is maintained, cost seems okay. The washrooms are very clean. They have water dispenser. Food and gaming facilities are available. The view points are very good from the Jatayu sculpture. Definitely it's worthwhile to spend a holiday with your friends or family.

This is the largest Bird sculpture in the world. The day we went there it was raining. But that happened to be the best time as this sculpture was on the top of a hill, there was not any direct sunlight that could scorch is, else it would have been very difficult to stand in hot sun. The museum is yet to open but the experience to travel through cable car was also beautiful. It is definitely a one time visit place with your friends and family. The view from the top is mesmerizing. You could see the fog from far forest elevating towards the sky . Really enjoyed the experience here.

Jatayu Earth's center is packed in between hills and a lustrous forest area. The astonishing statue of Jatayu, a Hindu mythological bird from the epic Ramayana is the major site. You can reach this site by cable car which costs around 499 (with the entry fee) or by walking the steps. This place is crowded even on a weekday. But the queue moved fast as there are two sets of 4 cars moving simultaneously up and down. There is a temple for the Lord Rama and an inscription that narrates the story of Jatayu. Overall a great experience. Kids will enjoy it for sure.

Jatayu Earth Center is a park and tourist centre at Chadayamangalam in Kollam district of Kerala. It is also known as Jatayu Nature Park or Jatayu Rock. At 350 metres above sea level, Jatayu Nature Park is distinguished by its sculpture of Jatayu, the largest bird in the world. It was the first public-private partnership tourism project in the state of Kerala under the BOT model, under the rock subject nature park. Kollam City is about 38 kilometres (24 mi) away and Thiruvananthapuram, the state capital, about 46 kilometres (29 mi) away.

The eight minute ride by cable car is a good experience. At the hill top you can see the largest bird sculpture in the world. The inside work of the sculpture has not been completed. When you come downstairs after the sculpture visit you can see an international standard 12D show. The ticket charge is Rs 160 per person . What you get in a 12D show?3D riding movie and 12 different effects like rain, wind and smoke. And seats that move on 4 sides. Contains in12D movie that a wondering experience. show that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. Dont miss it

Totally worth your time and money.. This Jayatu statue is a wounded bird that, according to Indian mythology tried to save Sita from Ravana in Ramayana and got injured. Thus representing as a symbol of women's safety. I loved the idea and the spectacular view. It's majestic on the top of a hill. I took a rope car ride back and forth from the foothills to the hilltop. It's around 500 bucks. It's just beautiful, well-maintained, clean and tidy. You can buy fresh juice up the hill, restrooms and parking facilities are available. Adventure sport like wall climbing and helicopter ride(2500 bucks) are available but not atm(Feb 2021) due to covid situation. A bucket list kinda place to visit.

This is a well maintained tourism spot and one of a kind in Kerala. Excellent and really friendly staff. Every thing present was of utmost quality . It has wheelchair access and is elderly friendly. I went during COVID times, hence the adventurous activities were all closed. Once open, they should be having paintball, ziplines, Rock climbing and other facilities. They even having a Ram mandir under construction (open for visitors) The place has good vehicle access. Even has a helipad. The only downside id say would be the cost. Even though I understand it's very expensive to run a place how they are running it, I thought it was a little above most people's budget for just going up a rock. (My opinion might change once the activities open up ) Entrance fee 200 per head (cash only) Cable car around 250 per head for two ways (cash/card) You could choose to walk upstairs as well if you think 250 is too much . Roughly 850 steps for getting your heart rate up. :D PS: the view is great from up there. And I'd say the sculpture is a masterpiece. Can't wait for the indoor museum to open up.

The Jatayu Rock is a must visit attraction! Run and maintained very well. The massive sculpture of Jatayu lying upside down in the throes of death with one wing chopped off, is an amazing work of art. The only problem we faced was Google Maps taking us past the road and leading to a narrow lane with a dead end. The sign posting is not what such a nice attraction deserves. Hope the tourism department or local authorities would notice.

A good place to spend 2 to 3 hours. Not everything is open due to COVID. But the cable will take you up the rock and there are some small shops open there. There is beautiful views and the carvings of Garuda is a master piece. It was drizzling when we visited and it added to the beauty. The misty whether was a great getaway from work from home pressures.

Great place. Wonderful view. European standard facilities. Due to construction many facilities were not active. Nice renovated Rama temple on the hill top. Great view of near by town and mountains from the top. Temple does not belong to tourism, thus a seperate walk path for temple is available for free. Temple is just near the Jatayu sculpture.

It’s not completely open. Rope way ride could be enjoyed. On top you can enjoy the sculpture and the areal view of the surroundings. They won’t allow you to climb up. Rope way ticket is mandatory. Entry ticket is 200 + tax and Ropeway is 250+ tax . So together 531/person. 10% discount for Senior citizen and children below 90cm height will get some discount. For entry tickets you should pay in cash. No card/google pay facility available. For cable car tickets, you could pay using credit/debit cards. Staff were acting bossy.

They have stopped climbing on foot. May be to get lot of money through cable car service. Idiots charge round figure+ gst 250+18% gst giving an awkward amount and there are no cashless options. So you need to have change

One Word: Superb view. March 2021: We can use cable car(~₹300) for reaching Jatayu from the base center. The Jatayu statue(~₹300) is a nice human creation👌. The best time to visit is evening as there will be low temperature and the sunset view is also good. Currently all other activities are shutdown due to corona. But still a visit to Jatayu is worth.

Excellent place to spend halfday to full day. Clean well organized and well maintained. Parking place available. Only way to reach the top is cable car. Cable car costs 300per perso . But it is worth the money spent. On top, there is mini lawn with some trees. Rest rooms are available on top. Snacks, tea & lime juice are the only good options on top right now (Oct 2021)

I found the place good. A lot of the attractions were either not available or haven't started yet. Please check in advance before going. We took the cable car and everything was well organized at the place. There is small temple on the premises which opens around 4pm. The view from the top is beautiful. I went with my elderly parents and it was suitable for them too. It is also wheelchair friendly.

Must visit here if you're traveling to Varkala or a nearby place Entry Ticket was 236/person and for rope car 263/person. Overall it cost 500+tax/person. Climate was really cool. It started raining after reaching there. There were thunderstorm, lightning and fog. We were bit scared because it would be very difficult to go down by fog and mist. But the staffs were really good. They made sure all the passengers reach safely. They even provided umbrella. It was really a great memorable experience here .

A very clean and qel maintained place. Tourist friendly. Cable car service is available. If you decide to climb you can reach the top within 45 minutes to one hour. The climb is also comfortable except for the last part of the climb. Drinking water is available at various places during the climb. Cafeteria is there at the top. The sculpture is outstanding. The view from the top is awesome

Enjoyed the visit. Very nice place if you're interested in such a place and have around 2-3 hrs to spend. ❗Main ticket counter only accepts cash payments. No cards or UPI. ❗But the 2nd payment counter for cable car accepts card payments. So make sure to carry your cards. ❌Do not buy tickets online. They won't accept online tickets. Costs 250+GST per person for entrance. 263+GST per person for cable car. There's bit waiting for the cable cars but it's ok. Cable car ride is good. Safe and provides nice view of the whole place. There should be more activities there to justify the amount collected. Now it seems bit pricey overall. Place is well maintained and litter free. The sculpture itself is a marvel. The surrounding place is also really nice. There's a temple which has multiple offerings options. There's monkeys everywhere at top so take care of your belongings. There are small cafe's at different places and kids gaming area when you are back from the hill. Cafe's provide good food at reasonable price for such place. Everything costs seprate here. Toilet facilities are available in different places throughout the center. Vast parking space available. Make sure that you do not visit during harsh daylight. There's not much shades at top. Evenings would be nice. Overall would recommend if you're interested in such a place and not worried about th cost.

There is a museum inside the sculpture, a temple (which is under construction), tea and snack point and gaming facility. Museum and other activities were not operational during my visit. Overall, it's a good place to have a 2-3 hours evening outing.

Before you start journey, make sure you contacted office at Jatayu para. In these Corona days, walkway is not allowed. I visited Jatayu para on 22-12-20, unfortunately entry was not allowed due to the high wind speed in hill top. Due to high wind speed, cable car ride was not operating, so no entry allowed. So make sure you have contacted office before visiting and confirm whether entry is allowed or not. The basic entry fee as per brochure is Rs. 450. Image of brochure is attached. If its closed and you want to experience rock experience, Kudukkathu Para is good option which is around 23km from Jatayu park

It was lovely first day outing for us after the pandemic. We were really sceptical about the visit as we had our 2 year old with us but it was a peaceful experience. our son enjoyed the cable car ride which covers the distance of 1km and gives us an amazing view. There are eateries at the top so it was convenient for us to sit and order something to eat and drink. As of now the only things open to us is outer perimeter of the jatayu sculpture, a glass gallery with a wonderful view, 12d movie, few indoor rides for kids and games that adults can also play. Every level of the earth center has staffs to help and sanitation stations are available. The cable car pods are wiped down every single time. The toilets are neat and clean. Ample parking space available.

Ropeway have good safety records. There is a plentyof parking place near ropeway entrance... beautiful architecture of Eagle shaped stone carving, makes it worth visiting. One of the major attractions of this place is the giant rock sculpture of Jatayu, the mythical bird of the epic Ramayana. Jatayupara is a hillock located in Chadayamangalam, near Kollam. Jatayupara has been developed into rock-theme Nature Park. Jatayu Earth Center boasts of 3D theatre, adventure zone with 20 games, and a digital museum( under construction). The entry fee into park is 200 plus tax for 1 person and 250 plus tax for cable car that takes you up and down the hill. Such a visual experience is a novelty in India. An experience which allows you to glide through the sky like a bird awaits you here. The museum is under construction. Visitors can also climb up the hill by foot rather than by cable car but is temporarily closed due to covid situations. The place is a must go and worth visiting.🔥❤

It's costly... Each entry costs 700... Further due to COVID19, hope many articles are not working so except viewing sculpture, no other benefits.

A good place for a family outing. Large parking ares. Neat and clean surroundings, neat rest rooms. They are following all covid protocols. Security check is there before entering. Large bags and food are not allowed. We were not allowed to take even my baby's food. You can reach the top to see the sculpture using a cable car. Cable car journey and the view is amazing. View from the top is mind blowing. 70ft height bird sculpture of jatayu stands at the top. There is a museum inside the bird sculpture, but it's not open. There is a temple also. There are many other adventurous and activities available. Return journey can also be through cable car. There is option for walking, climbing steps. Keep an umbrella in handy even during summer, try to visit in the evening to avoid harsh sun.

Very well maintained park. I have never seen such a well maintained park anywhere else in Kerala. Ticket rate is bit high 500+GST per person including cable car. But they are providing facilities for that ticket rate

Place was amazing must visit but the ticket charge was very high also for 3 yr old full charge

Around 4 pm is a good time time to visit. Watch the sunset and come down happily. If you are coming with kids, reach the play station and 12D theater bit early as it closes at 6 pm. No other adventure is active. Go up the hill either by cable car or you can climb. Its about 1 km. Seperate charges for entry (250/-) and cable car(~275/-). A temple of Lord Sreerama islocated up the rock.

As of Aug ‘21, you need to be vaccinated to enter the complex with at least one dose. You would be asked to show your vaccine certificate at the entrance. You can access the top only via ropeway, for which you have to pay extra in addition to the entry fees. The complex is maintained very well with clean toilets. A coffee shop is available at the top for some quick bites and tea/coffee. The main museum, theatre are yet to be open to the public. Some construction works around the temple are also pending to be done. We were told many shops are expected to be open inside the sculpture, but the timeline has not been announced due to covid related delays.

Great place to visit in Kerala. You can see here World's largest birds sculpture and a Rama temple at the hill top. Entry fee plus cable cars tickets costs 500 rs per person. Try to visit this place on sunny days otherwise the cable cars are hard to operate in heavy rain.

Nature at its peak 😍 Very well maintained tourist spot with proper covid precautions. The Eagle Jatayu has been sculpted very brilliantly.. worth it.. At the time kf our visit there was drizzling so nice 😊

Beautiful place to spend time with family, the property is very well maintained thanks to the private company who is running it. Even though it feels a bit pricy with 200 RS entry ticket and 250 rs for the cable car, felt it was worth. Had snacks from the cafe on the top, enjoyed the food. Simple shop and menu with very tasty food

Awesome experience.. Cable car riding.. 3D theatre was fun. Need to put more options for payments at the entrance.. they only takes cash for entry free.. other than that everything was awesome.. rides and other activities are there but not operational right now.. may be next month..

Loved the rope car experience. All other adventure activities were closed because of COVID. And one the best sculpture I have seen. If you are traveling here through the bus, you have to manage your timings. It took quite a while to get here

A must visit at least once. Most of the activities are shut but the sculpture and the cable car is a delight. Helicopter ride is open and is about 3k for a 5 min ride person. Ticket rates for entry are 200 per person cash only and then cable car is additional 250, again cash only.

Must visit place if you are passing by Kollam. Most of the adventure activities are closed due to pandemic. The entry fee comes close to 531 rs including the rope way fee. You need to carry cash with you as they allow only cash for the 236 rs pp entry fee. Had the chance to experience the helicopter ride, that was a bucket list item and it was awesome. I recommend this place if you are visiting Varkala or Kollam.

This is a must visit place if you are in Kerala. this huge jatayu sculpture set up on the mountain top is breathtaking. Take a cable car to reach the top. On the way enjoy the scenic view from the cable car. Food and beverages are available in the cable car waiting area. But please carry your own water bottles for the sake of environment. To avoid long queues reach earlier..say around 10.30am

Great place to hangout with family on a weekend. Walkway is closed due to COVID protocol. Cable car facility is available. Entry fee is accepted only via cas (250 per person), cable car fee is accepted via card, cash or UPI. Neat place and got clean bathrooms. Food here is expensive though.

Must visit place. Better visit before mid noon else it will be hotter. Place is neatly maintained just like an airport. Helicopter ride facility is yet to start after Covid. Excellent Place to spend time with family. After visiting sculpture, fun play zone is available for kids including 6D mini show.

Visiting the world's biggest bird sculpture in Kerala was a mesmerizing experience. The tourist attraction is impeccably maintained, offering a seamless blend of art and nature. The availability of a cable car enhances the overall experience, providing breathtaking views of the surroundings. The staff is not only friendly but also exceptionally informative, adding value to the visit. However, it's advisable to carry cash in hand, as some facilities may not accept card payments. The site's easy accessibility makes it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists.

Jatayu Earth Centre offers a nice experience with impressive architecture and breathtaking views from the top. However, the pricing for the cable ride and entry fee seems a bit steep considering what's offered. The process involves multiple queues, which can be a hassle. Cable ride speed can be slow, potentially causing motion sickness. If the weather permits, opting for the walkway (1km with 800 steps) might be a better choice. Overall, worth a visit for the views, but improvements in the queuing system and ride efficiency would enhance the experience.
