Positive employees would know that providing great customer service is not just about being courteous and polite, but extends to cover many different realms.I had a very bad experience coming to your hotel yesterday for lunch. There were hardly 2 tables that were occupied but staff were not available for order and it took them more than 30 minutes to get the bill. My child wanted to go to washroom but he said that the toilet were not clean as well. This is the second time I am facing such issue and staff were not even sorry for the inconvenience they caused. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just had snacks and coffee. Tastes good. Ambience very nice. Courteous service. Spacious restaurant. Has Spa and Ayurvedic packages. Accepts cash and cards.Nice lounge and law. Ample free parking space.

Very spacious rooms sufficient for a couple with a child. Centrally located. Surprisingly, despite being government owned, service was top notch. Reception was gracious enough to extend seamless checkin post midnight and coordinated to join the two beds in the room to make it king-size. Good restaurant and breakfast buffet.

My team has done so many wedding events in this convention centre. The food delivered is so delicious and their services are good.you can arrange a small wedding functions like engagement and other meetings and all gatherings in here with a good ambience.

It was wonderful experience. Me and my family was planning to celebrate our daughter's first wedding anniversary. I asked them for candles, cake and flower arrangements.. They beautifully arranged.. The restaurant is just amazing.. Ambience is decent, the traditional palace.. Food is delicious and reasonably priced.. The restaurant serves alcohol.. Would love to visit again 😋

KTDC Mascot hotel was a brilliant experience. Possibly the best state run hotel I have stayed in India. The facility is managed and run by Kerala Tourism Dept. It is professionally run, and at par with a 4*/5* hotel. The building is a little old, but well-maintained. This is located in the happening part of the city. The Legislative Assembly, The Corporation, Few key departments, The planetarium, University, and tourist attractions like the Zoo, Art Gallery, Kerala Heritage Museum, Planetarium, Kanakakkunnu Place, Napier Museum, etc are at a walking distance. We enjoyed our stay in this neatly maintained premises with clean & good rooms. We accessed the pool during the stay, it was clean & a good experience. Unlike most hotels of this category, which mandate you to sign up for breakfast, Mascot offers packages with and without breakfast. We chose one with breakfast, and our breakfast experience was good. The hostel has good parking, few dining options (3 restaurants if I'm not wrong), and good services. Recommend this place in case you are touring Thiruvanathapuram.

We had treated a family for dinner. The Buffett was horrible. The food was cold, insufficient. The chicken curry had only gravy. The deserts were minimal and over by 8 pm. Overall we were embarrassed as well as disappointed

This is an excellent place smack in the centre of the city. Food is great. Authentic Kerala & North Indian dishes. Non veg is yummy! The ambience & the grounds are superb. It's got that old school classy vibe. The sheer amount of wooden paneling makes it different from the other places.

Hotel location is good, rooms are also good but some of the stuff is old and broken. Room service is good.

Pros: Located in heart of the city. Walkable distance to zoo. Great parking area like all government properties. The hotel felt like nearly vacant as I didn't see anyone using pool for the entire 2 days of stay. The pool is very big although shallow, the water is pristine. The pipes and fixtures are of the latest design. The hotel, rooms were very clean Cons: Fish fry for Dinner , like most of the star hotels, the fish wasn't fresh.

Went for a business meeting and had a buffet lunch. Good atmosphere, very little crowd. Tasty food with limited options. Service ordinary.

Very bad experience with this hotel though we have pre-booked for alacarte,we forced to accept buffet which was not worth at all very few items that too didn't filled once it got over. 999 per head without any fried non veg items and no ice cream

Stayed as a family there last July. Staff was very helpful.Provided a spacious family room according to our requirement.Arranged Airport pickup and other travel needs. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Buffet had many varieties for locals and foreigners. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very good place to stay in Capital City.

Went there for a buffet lunch. It was quite disheartening to taste the North Indian spread. Even the south Indian menu was not so up to the mark. The fish curry was just ok. Desserts were not interesting either. There was nothing interesting enough to satisfy the tastebuds . Quite disappointed!

The hotel has good ambience, but I found issues with food service during Onam. After booking in advance and reaching the hotel as per their timing for Onam Sadya, we had to wait for around 30 min., but after that, we were served cold food. Surprisingly, no item was hot. The butter milk was bitter. The washroom didn't have soap. It was shocking to see such neglect of basics by a prime hotel. The hotels should make sure that due to quantity, quality is not compromised.

Fish finger, soup and pasta were good. New younger staff waiting at the tables definitely need training before they are start work.

Nobody seems to care about ensuring all the stuff in the rooms actually work. They expect the busy guests to bring defects to their notice and then wait humbly for replacement. Stuff like kettle, hair dryer, locker, plumbing, etc.

KTDC owned premium hotel located on the prime area of Thiruvananthapuram. A high class hotel. Very spacious neat and clean rooms with nice interiors. All the necessary amenities are available within the hotel. Food was average.

Rooms were cold and the heritage room unit display n aircon didn't function properly. But the team helped in providing an alternate room that too an Upgrade for free! The food at restaurant was a bit expensive - dinner for 2 came out to be 1200 but the food wasn't worth that price. Restaurant was very cold too (maybe cos of very less people). Morning food was decent but the idli given was old - sour - reheated ones. The team was courteous. Overall room ambience was good but we could see some common flooring and wall stickers are not maintained properly. The pool was still not functioning 😔- been this way for ages now. Overall feel positive about the stay 😊 and remember feedback is for people to see and improve - cos we care for the property 😊 Edit: we were having stomach infection for 4+ days post our visit 😔. Highly probable its cos due to the food we had at the hotel..

The location of hotel is in a prime area of the City.The overall ambience is very good and the all the staff members are very courteous and customer friendly.One can have a quality dining from here and management very particular to keep the institution's heritage.

Good city center heritage hotel but undergoing renovation which it needs badly. Rooms size were great and good breakfast spread and it is located in the city centre with many places within walking distance.

Had Onam Sadya (Lunch). Slightly expensive. But Excellent food, with 3 payasam and Boli. Had a Wonderful time, super friendly staff. Special mention to Mr. Ajith for organising the event extremely well. Booking was made before, and follow-up calls were made by hotel to make sure we arrive for the same time slot selected. 🙏🙏

Very nice hotel and staff. Situated in the heart of the city. About 3 km to railway station and 7 to airport. Had a good stay

The room was very spacious and well maintained. The service was very satisfactory. And the food😘 That was the main highlight. Morning breakfast buffet included a lot of varities, from south Indian to continental. They served one of the best croissant I've ever had.

Had dinner at Swati Restaurant. Not a happy experience with food and staff. We had to call for the person to deliver the plates after we got the starters. Not at all appreciated behaviour of staff from a star rated hotel restaurant. The taste of food is poor compared to the rates. Had better food in Trivandrum and premises. The only item that was up to the standard was the tissue paper provided.

It is owned by KTDC and one of the premium property. Had lunch from their restaurant. Food taste, quality, quantity all good for the price. Lunch buffet is not value for money for the price as per the menu. Overall a good option in Trivandrum

I went only for dining and the ambience and food quality was more than what i expected. They are reasonably priced and it's a good place for a quiet family outing.

The quality and flavor of the food served was pathetic (bar). Both the fried rice and beef coconut fry was cold while serving. Very much disappointed and I Would like to give it a half star to the price if I could. This goes to the last two times I ordered the same. Big time Mascot management should do something about the food.

Stayed their for a night,it was really a good experience and I would say overall stay was better than our stay at other KTDC properties at Munnar and Kumarakom. I don't recall the name but guy on reception in morning shift is very helping and went beyond in arranging the breakfast at 5:45AM as we had to catch early morning flight.

The hotel is a good posting and it is quite expensive compared to other hotels and Trivandrum these state government hotels. They have a swimming pool gym and gym also. This hotel is located in the main of trindrum. Very nice experience while attending the one of meetings here.

The Best stay ever!!! The environment was pleasant and welcoming... The hotel is clean, spacious, well maintained and has a lot of comfort things...All staff are very hospitable helpful & friendly....Just a delightful place!!!!

Had an amazing experience with the staff and management during my brother’s wedding reception at Symphony hall. A special mention to the chef, Mr Arun, who catered to all our requirements. The food quality and arrangement was appreciated by all our guests.

1) Our room did not have Hot Water After requesting for 2-3 times we were informed that there was maintenance going on Surprisingly we found out that every other room had hot water...just our room was given special treatment. 2) There was Hair Dryer with NO proper Socket to plug in 3) The shelf in the Bathroom was broken. This kind of maintenance was going on. 4) Restaurant Sahayna which is in the hotel itself. The staff over there put non vegetarian egg noodles in place of vegetarian noodle. And the staff didn't even Apologie for the mistake. They didnt have the courtesy to change it. We left hungry from there. 5) Every request took atleast 15min to attend. Thank you

Went there for dinner. Large quantity and good quality food for the price. Service however was extremely slow. It didn't matter to us as we had a lot of time on our hands
