My
recent
encounter
with
this
hotel
has
left
me
utterly
disappointed,
prompting
me
to
share
my
experience.
After
diligently
making
a
booking
and
paying
the
required
amount
in
advance,
my
excitement
turned
into
frustration
when,
days
later,
the
manager
called
to
inform
me
of
an
unexpected
overbooking
situation.
To
salvage
the
situation,
they
proposed
an
alternative
hotel.
Regrettably,
the
replacement
fell
far
below
the
standard
I
had
anticipated.
The
room
lacked
the
usual
amenities,
the
service
was
subpar,
and
it
was
evident
that
the
establishment
was
not
on
par
with
the
original
booking.
What
exacerbated
the
situation
was
the
hotel's
continuous
time-wasting
tactics.
They
assured
us
they
were
diligently
working
on
a
solution
but
failed
to
provide
a
clear
answer
or
a
resolution.
This
led
to
prolonged
uncertainty,
forcing
us
to
explore
other
options.
Eventually,
we
reluctantly
decided
to
cancel
our
booking,
a
decision
that
left
us
not
only
in
agony
but
also
disheartened
by
the
lack
of
professionalism.
The
subsequent
refund
process
added
insult
to
injury.
Despite
multiple
follow-ups,
obtaining
our
refund
became
an
arduous
task,
requiring
more
effort
and
time
than
it
reasonably
should
have.
In
sum,
my
experience
with
this
hotel
was
marred
by
overbooking
issues,
an
unsatisfactory
alternative,
and
a
tedious
battle
for
a
refund.
I
feel
compelled
to
caution
potential
guests
about
the
risks
associated
with
their
overbooking
practices
and
the
subsequent
inconvenience
that
might
overshadow
what
should
have
been
a
pleasant
stay.
