An elegant and quaint place that is situated within the larger temple complex. This Heritage stay is part of the Rangavilasam Palace, which belongs to the Travancore Royal Family. While the staff may come across as curt and reserved, they are very helpful and will give you the accurate information regarding the Temple visit. The complimentary South Indian breakfast was adequate and very tasty πŸ™ Overall I highly recommend this place if your primary purpose of visit is Dharsahanam of Lord Ananta Padmanabha swamy..

A last minute deal cracked on and i booked this hotel. A heritage hotel . Heard long stories of its history from the staffs there. Actually it adjcent to the great temple Incidentally its in the same complex of the kudiraimandapam museum and the ranga Malika art gallery. So a privilege of you can access at the earliest. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. The property is very nicely maintained and well mannered staffs.

Poor service and rude behavior , the dining hall had a rat and they refused to serve the food elsewhere first. The rooms and cooridors have enough dust that you can put into a bag. Not recommended for 4k a night and having said all these the ladies who prepare the food are nice towards you and the food is also great

The night time person is very rude and gets aggressive when asked for extra blanket. It seemed he was about to beat me. I felt the lock on the doors was not apt and a mere strong push from outside can break through lock. Breakfast variety is less (bread jam sambar chutney idli and dosa), but taste is good. Location is good. Only positive is location. Way to overpriced in my opinion.

It is a good heritage hotel next to padmanabha Swamy temple. However the rooms did have some mosquitoes. We took 20 mins on day 1 to clear away the mosquitoes. One another guest complained of a rat πŸ€ but luckily we did not face the challenge. The complementary breakfast was just idli and one more dish and it wasn't hot by the time we ate. The location is awesome and rooms are quite big and spacious. The staff is helpful as I had to visit doctor during the stay. We had a kettle but it was not clean. They could have given a complementary bottle water but they said only RO water is complementary. We ordered food on swiggy but since the place does not have a prominent sign had to go till the gate to collect the food. Apart from these few glitches it was a wonderful stay.

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This place is way overpriced. I booked this place looking at the reviews but it turned out to be huge disappointed. Room doesn't have a single window. No water in the washrooms. The place is very difficult to find. None of the locals knew where this place was located. Service is extremely pathetic. We had to make multiple calls for simple requests like water. The only good thing about this place is Location which is very near to the temple.

Decent and clean hotel. Safe for single women and travelers. Little pricey for the size of room and amenities. Breakfast is not so great spread / choices.

Good one for people wishing to have a flavour of the past. Within the palatial compounds, the rooms look a bit aged but the comforts are upto the mark. Walkable distance from Sri Padmanabaswamy temple and Pazhavanagadi Ganapathy temple.

Located very near to the temple, Rooms were marvelous and the day when we visited, it was a public holiday hence lesser staff. Good food. Great place not to miss ...But available staff Arjun and Aakash provided the best possible service

Even though it has potential to become one of the nice resorts because of its location and ambience, proper maintenance is not being done. Needs to uplift a lot as the price tag is too high.

Unique experience of staying in royal building. Clean and calm environment and rooms. Right next to the Kuthiramalika and Art Gallery ticket counters, so a visit to those places are strongly recommended. Parking is available. Avoid taking the β€˜Standard’ single room as it’s too small. Breakfast is included and was satisfactory. Staff behaviour was really good.

It was a nice experience staying here. The service, hospitality were good. They had complimentary breakfast, but with very few items. Also the room size is very small. You may get better rooms at the same price. Parking for 3-4 cars available. It's an old building.

Good place to stay near a temple area. Hardly 200 m away from temple. Staff is very helpful and Manager Ramakumar is very humble, polite person. Rooms are very clean and maintained properly though it is very old property. Highly recommended.

This is a heritage property with 4 double rooms and 4 single rooms, located in the old palace compound. It was a guest house for the palace guests. The temple is at 3 minutes walking Distance. The rooms have been modernized with almost every required amenity. But the service and maintenance lacks. We had a suite room with 2 extra beds. There is no space in the room after putting the 2 extra bed.2 double sheets were provided with them. No covers with extra bed. 1 Towel was provided for 5 of us. On enquiring the caretaker gave us some hand towels. The fruits kept in room were in rotting stage. The electric kettle had some stains inside, so, did not use it. Breakfast had idli, dosa, bread and butter cooked by 2 ladies. It was one of the best homely breakfast we had on this Kerala Trip. The caretaker at night does not understand Hindi or English. Car parking is available. The actual entrance to the property is another 50 meters towards the temple from the Google map location.

Close to the superb Padnanabha Swami Temple. Great heritage place to stay in Thiruvanandapuram

I would say this place is a less explored abode in Trivandrum at the heart of the city. It is an old palace converted hotel with 8 spacious and comfortable rooms with wooden interiors with a royal touch. We booked a double room directly at the property for 3k which was far cheaper compared to the online prices. We booked the place for a family gathering lunch and the hotel staff cooked us sadya for 40 people. Sadya was customised, homely, delicious and authentic, neatly served on time. The staff were courteous and efficient and co-ordinated check-in, parking and lunch services. The hotel is very near to Sri Padmanabha Swami temple and is inside the palace compound along with Kuthiramalika and art gallery entrances. All thanks to Mr Ram Kumar and staff for the right directions and arrangements.

A palace annexed building near Padmanabha swamy temple, Trivandrum, hosting limited guests. Old furniture, modern toilets. Simple and tasty breakfast. Spacious courtyard surrounded by the royal building.

Rooms are good, ambience is good Nice place to stay. Within city's business center and museum and art galleriey is really amazing. Good collection of paintings and other interesting stuff.

Rooms are good as I was a single person.staff is good and humble. No packed mineral water was provided, instead they gave a filed water. No wifi, which is common nowadays. The only problem what I found was, at my booking time the whole hotel was empty.so it's a heritage place, when you are alone at such places , you know what you feel.

😠 Never visit this place.. it's not a resort to start with, Though the ambiance of silence in the city center it is a good thing and it has two security layers one by Kinfra Park security and the next by Avoki Resort. There is a swimming pool (Only good part) The staff are indifferent to the guests....
